If they aren't on the corner of Jerome Ave and Bedford Park Blvd look down the block over the bridge of the train yard. They have another spot by the entrance to the college.“

“I went to a lot of restaurants in New York that were much fancier than this cart but this was my favorite food of the day. The cheong fun was gooey and had qq and a decent amount of meat. For $5 for the large, it was such a deal and fed three of us as a snack. I would go back in a heartbeat and order more. Wish we had this in Chinatown in Houston.“

“I've tried a handful of spots at Urban Hawker, but this one might just be my favorite.

I've tried their Chicken Cutlet Curry Rice and their Grilled Chicken Curry Rice. Both are so good. I can see why their curry sauce is in half their menu lol. The curry is not too spicy, and the flavors just hit. It pairs really well with the chicken, whether grilled or cutlet. They also add an immense amount of cabbage. I am a big fan of vegetables, so I always love when restaurants give generous portions of it in a dish.

“The chef deserves a medal for grinding and cooking in this heat wave in such small quarters. The heat didn't affect his attitude at all though! He was so pleasant. I ordered the small ox tail plate that came with rice and beans and 2 big pieces of sweet plantain. “If you are like me and have not had delicious barbecue for a long time, you will probably find it quite good. It feels like a Cantonese barbecue flavor. The pork is a salty barbecued pork, and the king of kings is also a little salty. Others I ordered include beef, mutton, gluten, and chicken hearts, which were both good! I love charcoal grilling + fresh grilling. Remember to bring cash!“

“Visiting the dosa man in Washington Square Park is definitely a bucket list item, but the wait will have you considering the merits of the sunk cost fallacy. There seemed to be someone working there whose only job was to hand out napkins—some type of executive training program perhaps. I got a masala dosa for $9 which comes with a vegetable lentil soup and coconut chutney. The texture is crisp on the outside and is filled with spiced potatoes, a fitting complement for a nice park hang.“

I tried the combo with roasted chicken and steamed chicken, and my wife ordered the steamed chicken rice. Both were moist, tender, and full of flavor — exactly what you want from authentic Hainanese chicken rice. The portion size was perfect for one person, and the meal came with a warm cup of chicken soup and steamed vegetables, which made it even better. Everything tasted fresh and satisfying. We really enjoyed our meal and would definitely come back!“

Played a violent action movie at high volume over very quiet but great background music, brought out food in takeout containers, seems like eat in service is an afterthought, which is too bad because the decor is very pleasant.“

Got felafel over rice .. felafel was fresh ….i actually liked their saffron rice . It was fresh and tasted good . They gave it with salad and some sauce on the top. Costed about 11$ , which isn’t bad . Quantity of rice was small but it was good enough ! My friends had lamb over rice and they liked it . Good experience overall …“

“I have never had an authentic jian Bing from Beijing or Tianjing but I have seen YouTube videos which made them look amazing. I've tried a number of jian Bing from other cities in China as well as the US and they always fell short, even in China. The crepe was sometimes too thick, the crispy filling was not crispy enough, the packing was too loose with the ingredients falling out, etc.

Watching the lady make the jian Bing here really reminded me of those YouTube videos I had seen from the places in Tianjing. Both the taste and texture were wonderful and blew away all the other jian Bing I've had.“

“A true 6 dollar meal it comes with rice, protein of choice, salad and fries. I usually get chicken over rice with extra pita bread. Comes out to 7 dollars, best food I can get. The drink comes included. However they did charge me for a drink once a few days ago. I’m not sure why I should have asked but I just assumed it was a change but the next day they didn’t charge me it? So I think I just lost a dollar at that point. 😔 but it doesn’t really ruin my experience of this place because other food area near by will charge me 3 dollars for an empanada or 10 dollars for fries. This place I can count on being fast and affordable and always good“

“The food is the best chicken & lamb over rice I have ever tasted. The greens are fresh. Everything is so good. I never get red sauce, but their red sauce has like this fresh homemade taste. It’s just so good just spicy enough. I get their red sauce and that says a lot.“

“I still think about this guys gyro. My wife and I stopped at the pizza place across the street and I wanted to try this guys food. My wife and I shared gyro and fries. “Came with my boyfriend whos been here multiple times and said it was delicious, and he wasn’t wrong. We got chicken, squid, chinese sausage, ricecake, shrimp, and beef skewers that were ALL amazing. HIGHLY recommend the spicy powder on any skewer you order. I have low tolerance for spice, but it was just a small kick for a couple seconds. I will be coming here way more often, I found my favorite food spot for late night snacks.“

“I visited the Potala Fresh Food truck. These are my favorite momo in the city! The momo are so fresh and juicy you have to lean over the container or plate when you eat them, it’s that juicy! I typically get the beef but they have chicken and other varieties as well. I love that you can also order them frozen if you need a large amount for a home event.“
