The tamales here are fantastic, but their tacos to me are their unsung hero. Their Birria, barbacoa and al pastor tacos are my fave.They also make a traditional cinnamon iced coffee drink that is outstanding. Their tomatillo and hot sauces are also housemade and a perfect pairing to all of their menu. Service is also friendly, efficient and consistent. I didn't know that this place existed near my Jackson Heights, Queens nabe. Went there last week and ordered Chilaquiles and Beef al pastor tacos.Last time I had chilaquiles was in Cancún. I fell in-love with this breakfast dish while on vacation in Cancún. Evelia's serves it with avocado slices + rice.The beef al pastor was yummy. I do want to check the sausage tacos next time. I will come back.
