“Went to the brand new Houston location and things are a bit rocky with staffing and supplies but I want to brag on your employee CAMILLA ! We came from NC and after visiting Puerto Rico several times I was so excited for this experience! She was so patient with us! Answered all our questions with a very helpful and cheerful attitude even tho she was drowning in drink orders! With only one other helper, she never showed any frustration and provided excellent above and beyond customer service! The cashier with her was brand new and super sweet as well! Camilla even gave me a hug when we left! She made my whole morning! And gave us the absolute best breakfast recommendation as well! Thank u so much Camilla for your grace and kindness this morning. U had no idea that my Morning started out so crappy, and your sweet personality and loving spirit really turned my day around and the tres leches latte was AMAZING 🙌🏼🩷💯 yall go see them and be patient …..it’s worth the wait ❤️ side note… the whole place is decorated beautifully! The chocolate croissant and vegan carrot cake 🥰 My personal favorite is avocado toast with turkey bacon , arugula or the goddess bowl add a great cup of coffee or Chai latte it's all delish!! “SoCal girl’s opinion - the tamales are exceptional. They are large, an entree size for sure and the masa is so fluffy, not dry at all. I made a large order for Christmas. Ordering days ahead, they also made a mild chicken version for children with seasoning but no spice. After the party I froze the leftover ones and reheated them in the steamer and they are still 100.“

“Everything was delicious. I had shrimp toast and a dinner combo: sesame chicken with fried rice, an egg roll, and soup. They made my sesame chicken spicy for me which I appreciated. The portions were generous and the waiter was attentive to all my requests. I would come again.“

“Love, Love, LOVE this breakfast spot. I order from here regularly. The food is always fast, fresh and budget friendly. The guy who takes phone orders affectionately refers to us as “The Donut Family” because we usually order the last donuts of the day. What’s pictured here is seasoned waffle fries and a special made burger (bacon cheddar cheeseburger on a glazed donut w/lettuce & tomato). They are open very early. They take cards and cash. The staff is super friendly. Great for delivery but not so great as a dine in spot (they do have a couple of chairs inside but it’s really too small to sit and enjoy a meal without having to move for the incoming foot traffic).“

“Excellent take out home cooked meal style food. I love and buy the salmon piece which is huge and is $8. I also get chicken cutlets for the kids. The cabbage and side items also look good but I just add at home a side and the meal is done. Also the coffee is my favorite in the neighborhood. Muffins melt in my mouth particularly the corn and chocolate chip. They should have more chocolate chip or maybe not bc I would buy and eat it more. There food is great home cooked style for a FAIR price. I’m so glad they are in my neighborhood.“

“The lady in the back of the store sells Dominican food & it is delicious! I usually get stew chicken with white rice & beans & it's $7. You can't go wrong! I have had other meats that she has available but the stew chicken is my favorite! Even when I am working in Lower Manhattan, my co worker & I will come all the way up to The Bronx to get this delicious Dominican food! It also come with a free bottle of water. You can't wait too later because once it's gone, it's gone! They also have Halal options & of course they have the typical deli food!“

“The name of the place is true. Healthy and fresh. The fruits and vegetables are fresh, the place is spotless. The people there are smart about the menu and friendly. Service is quick. They’re polite and forward with handling Bronx customers. Everything I order I’m so happy with. I’ve gotten Salads, Smoothies, Juices and I’m always pleased. Today I got a Toasted corn muffin with butter and that was sooo yummy. They have seating. The prices are on point for top quality food and service.“
