I’ve been coming for years and now for the last few months ( new owner) pizza is even better. Incredible taste and staff is always welcoming! Even when I get.a few slices the owner is always making fresh pies!! Def recommend!
If you’ve ever imagined the perfect NY slice, look no further. Charlie’s is located right off the 231st stop, right when you walk in the door you feel like family. You’ll notice the regulars coming in exchanging laughs and smiles as they order their pizza.

Based on multiple reviews, Charlie’s Pizza offers a great New York slice with the best sauce, perfect cheese pull, and perfect crunch. The pizza is done to perfection with no drippy sauce and no rubbery cheese. The vegetable slice and sicilian are delicious and fresh. The chicken Caesar salads are great. The loaded calzone with peppers, onions, mushrooms, pepperoni, and sausage is fully loaded and can fill up two people. The chicken vodka Parmesan pizza is a must-try. The grandma pie is also excellent. Everything tastes fresh and not rushed. The food is made with love and is described as the best pizza ever tasted. The music is awesome, and the customer service is kind and on point. Charlie and the staff provide wonderful treatment. The quality of the food stands out right away, and the place feels like it is being brought to another level. It is a must-see in the Bronx, right by the 1 train stop 231st.
