“I adore this place. I have ordered the margarita pizza with broccoli for delivery many times, and it's probably the best pizza I have found in the Bronx. Wood-fired, soft yet grilled crust, fresh mozzarella, really good tomato sauce, and generous with the toppings. Dining in is also a great experience -- it's warm and homey inside, and you feel like you have left the grind of daily life and are settling in for a festive, really good meal. Doesn't feel like an Americanized Italian restaurant but rather a small pocket of Italy in the Bronx. The Frutta di mare seafood pasta was perfect fresh fish, al dente pasta & the red sauce, soooo delicious. “I love Lonna’s pizza! I’m fairly new to the neighborhood and while I’m not over the moon with the *less than 1 mile* food options in the area, Lonna’s is in my top 10. One of the very few places that still has the authentic food taste, customer service, and atmosphere of an Italian Mom & Pop shop. The bathrooms were just renovated, the first time in my lifetime. The rest of the food hall has remained the same for the years.“
