“Our family visited the Botanical Gardens and then went looking for lunch in the area. We happened upon Pugsley's and had a great experience. We tried pizza by the slice as well as one of the subs and loved it all. Thin, crisp pizza crust was awesome! “Owner has the biggest heart ever. Not because he just wants good business. But you can genuinely feel his heart. But I already had two altercations with the workers there. I can understand one having a bad day but now when they try to come at you in front of other customers by asking question or trying to get an order in…… the place is small and at times it will be crowded. Customers dont know who order or not. Doesn’t hurt to ask….On top of that coming out their faces for some plates!!!! NOT that serious after we ordered a few pies for a pizza party.“

Overall Service and Food at the St.Albert location I would definitely not recommend on the other hand McGrath on the southside excellent for service food everything etc.“

“Las Margaritas Pizzeria is a welcomed addition to the Bronx dining scene. I've only place pick-up or delivery orders and get their Rainbow Pizza and Grandma Pizza, which are both absolutely amazing.

“I always walked or drove passed this pizza shop because of the people who tend to linger outside. One day I ordered from the MARIO PIZZA SHOP on Westchester Ave through door dash. I was surprised by the food and the flavors. I didn't know there was a closer one located on Fordham Rd until I order the unlimited seafood pasta dish. Excuse me for not remembering the gentleman's name but he was tall mid age Caucasian man. His customer service was amazing over the phone and in person. He ensure I would love the food and asked for my review afterwards. I explained it was my dad's birthday and he loves seafood and pasta and he recommended the dish. I placed the order went to pick it up and left with pizza and their own soda brand. Yesterday I ended up returning to give him my review face to face and letting him know he has locked in a customer as long as the food taste a fresh an great as it did prior. “Since these folks took over a few months ago, I see a huge improvement in the menu. Soups have been added back on. I was a big fan of the former owner’s Minestrone. They’ve added a Salmon Rice soup that I’m interested to try. I recommend a pepperoni slice and some zepoles for dessert.“

This had grill chicken, eggplant, tomato, onion, fresh spinach and a balsamic reduction. I eat pizza only a few times a year, and when I do it has to be extraordinary. This one is on my top 5. “This is the better of the pizzerias around. But what really stood out to me was their delivery service today. I ordered a pizza for my and my neighbor’s kids playing outside. I asked the delivery man if he happened to have paper plates with him, he said no but he could go back and get them. I said no please don’t bc it’s too hot (heat wave today) and thanked him anyway. A few minutes later he came back with paper plates and napkins. He rode a bike in a heat wave at noon just to go that extra mile for a customer. Outstanding rare service that really made an impression.“
