The handmade pasta was absolutely incredible; fresh, perfectly textured, and the kind of pasta you can immediately tell is made in-house with care. And the Neapolitan pizza? Easily one of the best I’ve had in NYC. Light, airy crust with that perfect char and high-quality ingredients that speak for themselves. The whole atmosphere felt warm, cozy, and authentically Italian without trying too hard. Absolutely a neighborhood gem!“

The Prosecco sangria was delicious, and we loved the tiramisu and pistachio gelato. The highlight of the evening, however, was our server, Javier. He was attentive, friendly, and made the entire experience even better. We’ll definitely be back.“

“This place has authentic New York style pizza. If you’re in the neighborhood, do yourself a favor and stop by! The flavor is fantastic. I walked in and saw the guy making fresh dough from scratch after pulling a pie outta the oven. I recommend the Nonna slice, the sauce is rich yet perfectly balanced. Afterwards, I got served fresh Zeppoli for dessert. My tastebuds were in heaven!“

“Really enjoyed the takeout I ordered for delivery. The Royal Greens Salads are huge!!! I would say they're twice as big as other salads chains. I wish it was easier though to know the dietary info for the salad dressings as I could not tell which ones were vegan. I love that you can choose your own protein and swap some of the toppings or build your own. I also got the green tofu curry dish from SriPraPhai as well. The sauce was incredibly flavor and I liked the amount of kick it had. It was spicy but not too spicy for me atleast. I do wish it had more tofu in it though as it felt very sauce heavy. I would order takeout from here again especially if I was getting food with someone who wanted something different then me. I appreciate the free delivery and the amazing portion sizes. It's nice to be able to order multiple cuisines as well.“

“Wonderful ambiance, staff is courteous, helpful and very knowledgeable on menu items. They are following COVID guidelines, the place is clean and looks like they have upgraded the decor. The food is delicious and hot. Their tomato sauce is perfect! The sangria is very good too. Great little neighborhood place.“

“By far the best Italian in Astoria. Yes, it's very pricey (full on Manhattan prices) but it's a rare instance where you're paying for real quality.

Mushroom risotto with truffle was excellent, perfectly al dente, and not overpowering with the truffle. The ravioli were super delicate and definitely made fresh in house. Pricing at $32 and $38 is pretty nuts for a plate of pasta, but they were very good.

For appetizers, the calamari was clearly fresh, lightly breaded, and perfectly fried, and the meatballs were moist and tender.

Timing between the courses was great; enough time to digest and enjoy the meal with no rush.

Dessert - tiramisu and panna cotta - was fine but nothing special and overpriced at $14 a pop. I'd skip it next time.

All in all an excellent, albeit very expensive, meal and without a doubt the best Italian in Astoria.“

“Just had dinner from Jack's Pizza tonight and it was absolutely on point. The pizza was fresh, hot, and full of flavor with quality ingredients you can actually taste. The crust was perfect, the service was quick, and everything was made just right. Definitely one of my go-to pizza spots in Queens now. “We liked the calamari. Mozzarella sticks were unfortunately not homemade. It felt like they were frozen sticks from Costco. We both ordered pasta. It was not bad, but it was just bland. Very mediocre.

Staff was helpful and nice. Prices are below average, that's good. Their specialty is pizza, so maybe we missed out by not trying their pizza. I am not impressed by the other things unfortunately.“

I've never gone, not sure why, maybe because it was "too close" and when you go out to eat you always look to go someplace a little out of your neighborhood. And it's always so easy to say, " oh it's so close I'll just go next time."

I cannot believe I've slept on this place for so long. I had three cheese slices and they were extremely solid. This isn't your fancy flare 57th Street Pizza. This is your no frills, unpretentious, delicious neighborhood slice, with a solid crust, thin body and satisfying marinara to cheese ratio.
