I wouldn’t go as far to say it’s a low quality burger. It’s definitely not a wow blow you away burger. I would have like more fresh lettuce and tomato on mine. The burger is made to order with a bun. It’s not disgusting and it’s not exceptional. It’s an average and fresh enough at an affordable price. Fries are good and the service is good and friendly enough. I used to order fried chicken routinely from Chubby (like, once a month or more) but the food quality has become inconsistent and the customer service has become nonexistent. I don't really know what's going on with this place. I keep giving it second chances because there was a time when they reliably delivered decent food, but lately I've had a couple experiences in a row of getting fried chicken that tastes, smells, and looks off. It feels like they are frying in old or overused oil, and there is a weird orange...gunk...showing up between the skin and the meat now.
