Bella was great. Amazing service
Gia’s is my absolute favorite pizza place in Astoria. However, you have to order it there and check before you walk out. They often deliver orders incorrectly. Despite this, I still support them because their food is so amazing. But wow it is really disappointing when the order gets delivered and you see something you were excited for completely missing or incorrect (in one case it was quite appalling, ordering a vegetarian slice and receiving one with meat). The owner was nice to my girlfriend and I. He gave us suggestions and even offered us to get our money back if we didn’t like his suggestion. My girlfriend and I had gone back for seconds a few moments after, the owner thought we came back to get our money back little did he know, we came back for more. My girlfriend rated it best authentic pizza she had in a while!!!! We will def go back!

Gia's Pizza is a favorite pizza place in Astoria. The food is amazing, and the pizza is considered the best in Astoria and by far the best in all of New York City. One reviewer calls it truly up there with the best of the best, praising the dough, the sauce, the cheese, the ratio, and the complexity. The freshest ingredients can be tasted, and the dough has no flop whatsoever. The owner was nice and gave suggestions, even offering money back if a suggestion was not liked. A girlfriend rated it the best authentic pizza she had in a while, and the couple went back for seconds. The plain slice was so good that one reviewer immediately knew everything else was gonna be good as well; the dough, ingredients, and oven were different in a good way, which made the end product tasty. The greek salad with cranberry dressing and a couple slices of pizza were really good with generous serving sizes. The smash burger with fries and garlic knots were also ordered; the burger was quite good with juicy patties and enough sauce that it was almost too messy, and the serving of garlic knots was too big to finish. Free delivery is available. However, orders are often delivered incorrectly, and the pizzas needed to be hotter when they are delivered. Getting a refund over a few slices of pizza is frustrating, and in one case a vegetarian slice was ordered and one with meat was received. The delivery experience does not match the food experience, so one reviewer will only have Gia's when around the area.
