“After moving to Whitestone last year and trying out different pizzeria to see which is the best, we have FINALLY stopped searching.After arriving and ordering two white slices, I knew this was the spot. The staff are super friendly and very attentive. I also see how they treat other customers coming into the restaurant and they treat everyone with respect and care.I HIGHLY recommend coming here.“

“A friend at work recommended we have an office night out here and he probably just won employee of the year off of the pick.

I’ll start out with the drinks… absolutely amazing. I am a bit of a snob when it comes to whiskey and whiskey cocktails so I was skeptical when I saw the Nonino Essence (Bourbon, rye, amaro nonino, cinnamon, orange, angostura) as it was a combo of rye and bourbon… the drink was insanely good. Perfect balance of sweetness from the bourbon and spices from the rye, angostura and cinnamon.

The pizza selection was spot on. We ordered several of the pies and all were amazing. My personal favorite was the Piccante (the hot honey is a hitter!)

Not only were the food and drinks great but the staff was just as great! Super attentive and an absolute pleasure.

There’s a piece of me that wanted to gate keep this spot because I know it’s going to be tough to be able to get a seat there soon but I have to give them props on checking all the boxes needed to make a great night out successful.“

“We’ve been here several times, and they have the best Caesar salad in the city. As for the pizzas, I’m still undecided. You can’t go wrong with a classic, but the other options seem a bit lackluster. The dough is perfect but they can work on taste.

I also think their prices might have changed since our last visit a few months ago.“

“This restaurant is the best place for neapolitan pizza outside Italy! Ordered the bee sting pizza Margherita with spicy honey and prosciutto. It was delicious and the first time in a long while that I've consumed an entire 14 inch pizza by myself in a single setting! Of course it helped that I washed it down with a tall glass of Three's local brew pilsner. The service says friendly, the atmosphere was cozy and everyone seemed to be enjoying their meal.“

“Low key might be your best slice in Bushwick/Ridgewood. It bests Robertas and Ops easily yet doesn't get the hype of either of the latter. They also have better appetizer options like a mint watermelon salad that we devoured before taking a picture. The pizza hits all the marks of a good pie and then goes a step beyond with a similar price point to Robertas. This is a great spot that's out of the was but absolutely worthy of the trip.“

“The first pie I had from John at Fenice was the Detroit Red...which Tony picked up for me last week when i was at work...i finished the whole pie by just after midnight...but I had to go for the regular NY Cheese pie fresh from the oven. We scored one of the two tables there and were able to decide which of the other slices to bring home...it was like a pizza candy store. We didn't finish our pie so brought home two slices, and I wanted to try John's sicilian, I couldn't leave there without a Detroit Red slice and Tony wanted the multi cheese white pizza...every pizza we tried was perfect! something about the dough. The sauce. The cheese. The dough for the Sicilian and the Detroit Red was light and perfectly crunchy on the bottom. Flavor out of this world. We drove from White Plains just to try Pizza Fenice. worth the trip.“

“One of my favorite places in the city for some proper Italian pizza pie. A nice neopolitan style thin crust, with fresh mozzarella and delicious marinara sauce. “Let me start by saying this place came HIGHLY recommended! Of course I had to try the world renowned oxtail slice. I was a bit hesitant because who puts oxtail on a slice of pizza. But babyyy let me tell you. It's worth the hype. The store manager is also extremely nice, professional and has a great presence. Truly the entire staff were wholesome but the Manager Z 10/10 just like the slices! I'd highly recommend the pizza. My friend had the shrimp slice and can't stop talking about it. I also had chicken/turkey bacon slice. Delicious. Also the slices are really filling. Worth every penny.“

“Everyone’s right. The pizza is great. Thick, heavy, sturdy, flavorful dough. Deep tomato sauce (not the tangy fresh shit), nice orange oil from the cheese and the pepperoni is good.

Update: a year later and it’s still incredible. I’ve noticed most pizza places are making their pizzas so thin you have to check the box to make sure anything’s in there. Not Reg’z. I ordered a Supreme last week and thought my arm was going to fall off bringing it home. I LOVE REG’Z“

“Great local slice shop. The regular slice was solid and the spicy vodka slice was really good because of the added chili peppers but I felt the vodka sauce itself was bland. I actually had to double check to make sure it was a vodka slice after the fact but either way it was a great slice of pizza. Took a pistachio bombolone home and it was absolutely spectacular. “Went for a late dinner last night at the location in Dyker Heights and so glad we did. We had the specials: Rigatoni with braised shredded Short ribs and Reggiano Parmigiano and Escarole and white beans sautéed with fresh garlic and Extra Virgin Olive oil w roasted Atlantic Salmon. It was delicious! This restaurant never disappoints and the food is always consistent and on point. The staff is friendly and welcoming, which makes dining here even more enjoyable. I highly recommend La Villa in Dyker Heights!“

“There’s so many pizza spots in the area, but Chiara’s is for sure one of my favorites. I just love how creative they get with their specialty slices/pies - you for sure won’t find the same thing elsewhere. You could never go wrong with one of their traditional slices (especially the margherita) since their sauce is so good. The owner Neal is a cool dude and genuinely enjoys seeing his customers happy. Usually we get a mushroom/pepperoni pizza and their outrageously delicious chicken parm garlic knot, both of which are always awesome. Today I tried a La Norma pizza and am once again impressed. Awesome work all around from the chefs to the delivery guys. They always cook good food and always deliver with a smile. “Really brings me back to Sicily. The food is very good and authentic. Unfortunately the only issue was the service was slow. I get that they cook fresh but I hope they can work out the kinks in their process because I would love to come back. Staff were very nice and the head chef came out to say hello to people.
