“I ordered a plain slice, a chicken Parm Hero w Vodka sauce, and a diet soda. The bill came out to 26 bucks. Which in today's day and age is part par for the course: not cheap but it was a substantial meal for the cost.

The place is old school but I'm a good way. The place has character, and the people that work there are friendly and helpful. The food was excellent.

The pizza is thin and crispy but thick enough to have a nice soft layer of dough beneath the cheese and sauce. The sauce itself is on the sweeter side but it's not as sweet as places like dani's of kew gardens.

The other dish I had was the chicken Parm w Vodka sauce and that was really good too. The vodka sauce was generously applied to the whole sandwich and was the star of the show with a creamy and flavorful profile. The bread was a nice crispy on the outside and soft on the outside standard Italian hero. I think the bread was the least interesting part of the sandwich but it did the job and let the other flavors stand out. It was also very cheesy but not in an overpowering way.

The place is cash only so be mindful of that, though there are atms in near by convenience stores.

“Went here on Thursday night with five of my friends for a belated birthday celebration. The staff was very kind to us and answered all of the questions we had. The meat quality is very good and delicious for the price! And their drink menu has good variety.
I wish I took photos, but I was so hungry that I just kind of focused on eating.
One of my friends said that he wished that the salad bar would have more variety, but I was personally fine with the size of the salad bar because I was there mostly for the steaks. And the grilled pineapple with cinnamon was a good palate cleanser between servings too.“

“Full disclosure, I know and really love the owner and his family. However, even if I didn’t , which I do, I’d give this five stars. Pizza is fresh and delicious, the place is spotless and they are always cleaning, portions are plentiful, the falafel is fantastic and I love how they warm up the pita to give the sandwich a nice crunch. Service is great. When we got there no one knew we were friendly with the owner but we were treated as if we were. Everyone was. Fast, efficient and good. Also, love the large seating area in the back. Great spot!“

“We were attending an event at Queens College and wanted to have a lunch/dinner afterwards, so we searched for restaurants nearby. There were many choices, but I was impressed by the website and menu for Piccolo Sogno. Following the event, joined by four friends, my wife and I made the short drive to the restaurant. It was a hot day, and at first we said we would like to dine inside. But the gracious host said we were welcome to check the outside seating first--and we're so glad we did! In the lovely, covered garden, we comfortably began a great feast! Piccolo Sogno has a nice selection of wines and beers as well as sparkling water. That was followed by delicious Calamari Fritti (done to perfection) and a Hot Antipasto Sampler with more calamari, baked clams, eggplant rolatini and amazing fried shrimp. We followed that with Pollo Alla Francese (some of the best I've ever had), Spaghetti Carbonara, Penne Vodka, and Insalata Dello Chef with chicken. These were served with generous side orders of Caesar salad or pasta. The service was friendly, courteous and at a pace that made for a wonderful afternoon. Even though we were extremely well-filled, we ordered dessert, and are so glad we did! The Limoncello Flute was one of the best desserts we've had, as was the Chocolate Mousse. Some iced expresso (wait until you see the special way it is layered!) and coffee would have been the end of a perfect meal, but then Chef Maurizio himself came out to spend some time at our table. After a nice conversation, he took this selfie shot of us all. As we left, the wonderful staff of the restaurant all greeted us and thanked us for coming. I can't remember the last time that happened in such a warm and spontaneous way. I could not more highly recommend a restaurant. We live in Manhattan and have our choice of some of the best restaurants anywhere--but actually, I look forward to returning to Piccolo Sogno!“

Went with a buddy late close to closing hours to grab some pizza (cheese pizza was good thin and crispy, not greasy but definitely had a different tomato sauce flavor which was enjoyable) , they 100 different options, but thanks to the advice of the person on the cashier we got the best bang for our buck and he even suggested to stay and eat there. Which I thought was odd and expected to be asked to tip, however that didn’t happen.“

“Forest now has two solid pizza spots. Joe’s has unique slices like thick sliced with actual pieces of burrata or the “MVP” (marinara, vodka and pesto and an eggplant parm slice that was dope. Definitely stop by, good prices and nice space with some interesting ambiance like the old school Pizza Hut light fixture.“

The place has mirrors where your kids if you have can play around with and you can even watch your pizza being made in the kitchen which is open for customers to see when they are waiting. There is a bus that you can take to get here if you need or want.“

“So I've lived in Bayside for 15 years now and Im originally from Astoria, where I grew up on The Sandwich King. I've ordered from Luigis before, tons of times, usually pizzas and the occasional chicken parm. Today I got a newish looking menu in the mail and bounced some new options. So I said , OK, let's get a chicken vodka parm and a chicken club sandwich for us. Well my wife is lucky I love her because I ate half of each sandwich and could have easily eaten both. Some of the tastiest and freshest sandwiches I have had here in Bayside. Will be ordering them again!!!“

“This is THE best place for fried chicken. We've been coming here for years and this place never ever disappoints. I love my fried chicken and definitely know my fried chicken, especially Korean fried chicken and this place is legit.The key to eat their chicken in their store at its freshest and get their whole chicken with the spicy yang nyum sauce on the side. This way the skin stays crispy. You dip the chicken in the spicy and savory sauce right before you put all that goodness inside your mouth. Oh so delicious and heavenly! Their chicken is good even without any sauce and arrives pipping hot with loads of flavor and juice inside and extra crispy on the outside. And the best part, it is NOT greasy! You can literally eat like 10 pieces and not feel greased out like some other fried chicken.I cannot say anything about their pizza but remember I tried it before and didn't like it much. Stay with the fried chicken here folks!!!! Their garlic wings are also amazing and drenched in this amazing garlicky sauce!!Service is also on point and friendly. Prices is amazing! We ordered 2.5 half chicken, 16 pieces of garlic wings, one whole pitcher of beer, sauces on the side and our order came with radish pickles and salad and it was at a fraction of the price some other places charge.
