“After a long trip around the UK, the first thing I was craving was a classic NYC slice, and Amore Pizzeria delivered exactly that. There's a reason they've been around for over 50 years!
The pizza is everything great New York pizza should be—thin, crispy (with that perfect crack in the crust that true NYC pizza lovers know and appreciate), perfectly foldable, and topped with quality mozz.

The pizza alone is worth the visit, but the service made the experience even better. The woman working there (who I suspect may be the owner) was incredibly welcoming and friendly. She took the time to chat with us and even helped move our suitcases inside to a safe place while we ate our pie.

Fantastic NYC pizza, and great people. I highly recommend Amore Pizzeria to anyone looking for an authentic New York slice.

“Full disclosure, I know and really love the owner and his family. However, even if I didn’t , which I do, I’d give this five stars. Pizza is fresh and delicious, the place is spotless and they are always cleaning, portions are plentiful, the falafel is fantastic and I love how they warm up the pita to give the sandwich a nice crunch. Service is great. When we got there no one knew we were friendly with the owner but we were treated as if we were. Everyone was. Fast, efficient and good. Also, love the large seating area in the back. Great spot!“

“We were attending an event at Queens College and wanted to have a lunch/dinner afterwards, so we searched for restaurants nearby. There were many choices, but I was impressed by the website and menu for Piccolo Sogno. Following the event, joined by four friends, my wife and I made the short drive to the restaurant. It was a hot day, and at first we said we would like to dine inside. But the gracious host said we were welcome to check the outside seating first--and we're so glad we did! In the lovely, covered garden, we comfortably began a great feast! Piccolo Sogno has a nice selection of wines and beers as well as sparkling water. That was followed by delicious Calamari Fritti (done to perfection) and a Hot Antipasto Sampler with more calamari, baked clams, eggplant rolatini and amazing fried shrimp. We followed that with Pollo Alla Francese (some of the best I've ever had), Spaghetti Carbonara, Penne Vodka, and Insalata Dello Chef with chicken. These were served with generous side orders of Caesar salad or pasta. The service was friendly, courteous and at a pace that made for a wonderful afternoon. Even though we were extremely well-filled, we ordered dessert, and are so glad we did! The Limoncello Flute was one of the best desserts we've had, as was the Chocolate Mousse. Some iced expresso (wait until you see the special way it is layered!) and coffee would have been the end of a perfect meal, but then Chef Maurizio himself came out to spend some time at our table. After a nice conversation, he took this selfie shot of us all. As we left, the wonderful staff of the restaurant all greeted us and thanked us for coming. I can't remember the last time that happened in such a warm and spontaneous way. I could not more highly recommend a restaurant. We live in Manhattan and have our choice of some of the best restaurants anywhere--but actually, I look forward to returning to Piccolo Sogno!“

Went with a buddy late close to closing hours to grab some pizza (cheese pizza was good thin and crispy, not greasy but definitely had a different tomato sauce flavor which was enjoyable) , they 100 different options, but thanks to the advice of the person on the cashier we got the best bang for our buck and he even suggested to stay and eat there. Which I thought was odd and expected to be asked to tip, however that didn’t happen.“

“Pizza Garden hosted an event for my daughter's kindergarten class to come and make pizza. The owner was very engaging and made all the kids laugh . All the kids thoroughly enjoyed the whole process and had a great time. They also really enjoyed the pizza they made themselves! I highly recommend this spot for a field trip!“

“Forest now has two solid pizza spots. Joe’s has unique slices like thick sliced with actual pieces of burrata or the “MVP” (marinara, vodka and pesto and an eggplant parm slice that was dope. I really enjoy their combination of a thinner crust, with sauce almost to the edge, and just the right amount of quality mozzarella have had me coming back year after year! Typical pizzeria decor. “So I've lived in Bayside for 15 years now and Im originally from Astoria, where I grew up on The Sandwich King. I've ordered from Luigis before, tons of times, usually pizzas and the occasional chicken parm. Today I got a newish looking menu in the mail and bounced some new options. So I said , OK, let's get a chicken vodka parm and a chicken club sandwich for us. Well my wife is lucky I love her because I ate half of each sandwich and could have easily eaten both. Some of the tastiest and freshest sandwiches I have had here in Bayside. Will be ordering them again!!!“

Especially when you don't want to eat subway, dunkin donuts, and popeyes for lunch which are in the area. I wanted to support smaller businesses instead. A lot of other businesses had a long wait.

“This is THE best place for fried chicken. We've been coming here for years and this place never ever disappoints. I love my fried chicken and definitely know my fried chicken, especially Korean fried chicken and this place is legit.The key to eat their chicken in their store at its freshest and get their whole chicken with the spicy yang nyum sauce on the side. This way the skin stays crispy. You dip the chicken in the spicy and savory sauce right before you put all that goodness inside your mouth. Oh so delicious and heavenly! Their chicken is good even without any sauce and arrives pipping hot with loads of flavor and juice inside and extra crispy on the outside. And the best part, it is NOT greasy! You can literally eat like 10 pieces and not feel greased out like some other fried chicken.I cannot say anything about their pizza but remember I tried it before and didn't like it much. Stay with the fried chicken here folks!!!! Their garlic wings are also amazing and drenched in this amazing garlicky sauce!!Service is also on point and friendly. Prices is amazing! We ordered 2.5 half chicken, 16 pieces of garlic wings, one whole pitcher of beer, sauces on the side and our order came with radish pickles and salad and it was at a fraction of the price some other places charge.
