“Such a lovely spot! The ambiance is warm and inviting, and the customer service was genuinely kind and attentive. Everything was impeccably clean, and the desserts were presented so beautifully—it almost felt like art. The garlic bread was flavorful and perfectly done. I’m excited to return and explore more of their offerings, especially their packages.“

“I had a wonderful experience here. The Butter Cookie Latte was absolutely amazing—easily one of the best specialty lattes I’ve had in a long time. The Caprese sandwich was good and fresh, though it wasn’t quite as memorable as the coffee.
What really makes this place stand out is the atmosphere and service. The staff were welcoming and attentive, creating a warm and comfortable environment. The music selection was relaxing and perfectly suited for getting work done on a laptop or simply enjoying a peaceful break. If you’re looking for a cozy café with great coffee, excellent service, and a productive yet calming vibe, this is definitely worth a visit.“

“I had previously left a simple 5 star review of this place but I deleted to add a new one because I’ve now had many smashburgers around NYC and this has got to be my favorite by a long shot. If it wasn’t such a trek to get here without a car from my place I would be here 4+ times a week. It’s always super fresh. I always judge a place on the burger sauce too and this one is def my favorite I’ve found in NYC so far. The people are always nice. Burgers have always come out fast. There’s only thing … I wish they had cheddar cheese. I can’t get on the American cheese hype. But im an odd one. I also wish they had a location in the Bronx 😉“

“I got the mango/matcha soft serve! Needless to say, this was one of the most delicious matcha desserts I have had in a long time! I'm a matcha enthusiast and I have been to Maiko before but never had their soft serve. This was exactly what I needed to satisfy my sweet tooth! The flavor is sweet enough and the matcha really come through - I can compare the flavor profile to Chigi no shiro by Marukyu Koyamaen. Overall, this was a perfect dessert for an extreamly warm day in NYC“

“Absolutely fantastic meal! The charcoal-grilled chicken wings were cooked to perfection—crispy, well-seasoned, and packed with a great smoky flavor on the outside, while remaining incredibly juicy on the inside. But the real star of the show was the spicy bullfrog. The meat was unbelievably tender and absorbed all the rich flavors of the broth. It had that perfect, authentic Sichuan 'mala' (spicy and numbing) kick, topped with fresh green chilies and sesame seeds that made it incredibly appetizing. Huge portions and great presentation. Highly recommend this place!“

“The Peking Duck here is tasty with rich flavor and crispy skin, but the meat itself was a bit too tough and chewy, making it hard to bite through cleanly. While the seasoning and presentation were enjoyable, the texture of the duck could definitely be improved for a better dining experience.“

“My girlfriend and I decided to try something new tonight, I’ve never had Hot Pot before and saw this place had 5 stars across the board so I obviously got curious and as soon as you walk in you see why. The customer service was amazing and that alone is why I would go back. I don’t remember her name but she was so helpfully showing us how things work, the menu etc. it definitely made us feel comfortable. And then on top of that the food is great, the broth is 🤤🤤🤤.
I’ll be turning!“

“The shop is quite small, so you might walk right past it without realizing it’s there. To find it more easily, just remember it’s right next to Dunkin' and has a blue sign.
The service is super nice and friendly, but it’s a takeout-only spot, so keep in mind that you'll need to find a place to eat—unless you can't wait and just eat right there! We walked all the way to Tangram Mall to sit down, but by then, the food was already cold.
When the server asks if you want sauce, make sure to get everything. If you like heat, ask for extra Sriracha; if you prefer something nutty and saucy, ask for more peanut butter sauce. I also grabbed a tea egg for just $1—an absolute steal and very tasty! It leans more sweet than savory, which reminded me of tea egg sweet soup.
It’s definitely worth the money and worth a try if you’re already in Flushing.“
“From the moment we walked in, the experience was nothing short of delightful. The dessert selection was incredible—so many thoughtfully crafted options that everyone in our group found something they absolutely loved. It’s rare to find a place that can truly satisfy a variety of tastes, but this one does it effortlessly.
What made the visit even more special was the exceptional service. John went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and valued, treating us like premium guests every step of the way. His warmth and attentiveness elevated the entire experience.
This is more than just a dessert spot—it’s a place you’ll want to return to again and again, whether with friends, family, or anyone you want to share something special with. I already can’t wait for my next visit.“

“Nice place, music was good but it was noted to be warm considering it is a roof-top lounge but it was cold and made my stay a little short. The cocktail drinks tasted more like cocktails, very little alcohol. I had 2 drinks and not even a buzz. Otherwise nice place for a hangout.“

“A great hole-in-the-wall Korean restaurant. They only serve one dish (or rather, bowl). And it's beef and cabbage soup with rice. Also known as Sogogi-gukbap (소고기 국밥).
Only 2 questions are asked:
1) how many people?
2) spicy or not spicy?
And those are the only questions that need to be asked. The servers are nice and attentive.
There's a reason why this place has been here for as long as it has.
The food is delicious and the best way to describe it is: just like mom used to make it.“

“I love their own fried fish dumplings. I like seriously crave for it. When you bite into one, it’s juicy too. Not fishy at all. My son even loves them. He said he likes how the skin is crispy and not overly thick. The ones you steam are in a pouch shape, while the ones you fry are like little envelopes. The only downside is they take cash only. I know the business here says they take credit card, but the machine seems to be down and at the register it says cash only. It’s $30 for a bag of 50 frozen dumplings. All other dumplings that are cooked there are about $12-$13 for like 14-15 dumplings or so.“

“Authentic Flavors and Warm Hospitality!
I had an incredible experience at Plateia GR! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with friendly smiles and a cozy, welcoming atmosphere that immediately set the tone for the evening.
The food was absolutely delicious — everything tasted fresh and authentically Greek. The grilled octopus was tender and perfectly seasoned, the meatballs were so moist and so good, and the gyro was delicious and full of flavor. The tzatziki and warm pita were the best I’ve ever had, and the galaktobouriko at the end of the meal was the perfect sweet finish.
What really stood out was the staff’s genuine hospitality — they took the time to explain the dishes and made sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed.
If you’re looking for a place that serves real Greek cuisine with heart and care, this is it. I can’t wait to come back!“

“Hands down one of the best Korean spots in Queens! This cozy tofu place stays open late, perfect for those post-night cravings. The kimchi pancake is absolutely amazing — crispy, savory, and addictive. Their noodle dishes are next-level flavorful, and you have to try the stir-fries — packed with fresh ingredients and bold seasoning. Everything is super clean, tastes incredibly fresh, and the prices are ridiculously reasonable. Great portion sizes too. Will definitely be back“

“Awesome Selection of Sandwiches and food! The Cooks are quick and thoughtful of your order. The Food Tastes Amazing! The Only problem here is what to choose, the Selections are crazy. “I pass by this location all the time and finally decided to try it today. I ordered the caramel tart and was pleasantly surprised by the flakiness of the crust. It was also not too sweet and just right for me. This is one of the best egg tarts I've had in flushing. Would definitely recommend.“

“Tucked away in Flushing next to the Hyatt Hotel, Iki Modern Restaurant is a hidden gem worth seeking out. While it’s a bit tricky to find at first, the discovery is more than rewarding. If you’re facing the Hyatt on 39th Ave, look to the left for a short staircase leading up to the restaurant.
The lunch deals here are exceptional. We tried the sushi set, a tender short ribs plate (imported from Japan), and their surprisingly popular catfish set—which I now understand is a favorite. The catfish was delicate, fresh, and carried a clean, oceanic flavor that stood out.
But the real star was the wagyu and uni on toast was an absolute highlight of our indulgent meal. We also sampled their lobster with cheese special (a very fair $13 for half, $26 for whole), and if you’re feeling luxurious, don’t miss their newest menu item: the truffle, foie gras, and caviar don. Each bite was decadent, rich and worth savoring slowly.
To top it off, the staff kindly offered us a complimentary dessert. The bird’s nest coconut pudding is a must try for the adventurous, if you prefer something more familiar, their standard ice cream is just as satisfying.
Service throughout was attentive, tea was quietly refreshed, dishes were cleared promptly and every detail was handled with care.
Iki is a place I’d highly recommend if you want to experience something different than the typical Japanese restaurant. I appreciate that they experiment and elevate traditional Japanese dishes.
A true dining delight in Flushing.“

“This place is one of my favorite places to come to for breakfast. Its a korean cafe offering everything you would get at paris baguette and what you would order at a deli. All the counter folks speak both korean and english and theyre courteous. The older korean folks like to come here and gather here in the mornings while a mix of customers for the cakes, breakfast food and their coffees. My only negative is since th egg price hike, theyve doubled everything in price. The prices have gone down and yet, their prices stay the same. All in all, id come back here to treat myself and the family every now and then.“

“I’ve been coming here on and off for many years — this place has probably been around at least 20 years. It’s one of those old neighborhood sushi spots a lot of locals know about.
This is Korean-style sushi, which is a little different from traditional Japanese sushi. One thing that makes it unique is they give you Korean spicy sauce to dip the sushi in, which actually adds a nice kick and a different flavor.
Also just a heads up, this place is take-out only, so you’re basically grabbing your food and going.
The portions are still pretty generous, so if you’re just trying to eat a lot and get full, this place does the job.
That said, prices have gone up recently and the sashimi slices seem to be getting smaller compared to years ago.
If you're looking for real high-end sushi, this probably isn’t the place. But if you want a lot of sushi for the money and a quick takeout meal, it still works.“

“BagelTime, omg what a fantastic place. The food is incredible.
I was there yesterday (July 13) and ordered several of their delicious sandwiches, a Cubano to die for, and my beet and goat cheese salad!
You are the best deli artisan sandwich establishment I have ever been to. I’ve had some sandwiches, but your sandwiches, all the combos, and salad are amazing.
Oh yeah, and your extra-large muffins and everything—oh my God, this is fantastic. Your place is tremendous.

“I’m pretty sure I discovered this spot long before Anthony Bourdain did! 😏 It was featured in Parts Unknown Season 9, Episode 4 (Queens), where he dined here with chefs Josh Smookler and Cosme Aguilar. Geo Si Gi is highly known for their signature gamjatang (spicy pork bone soup).
Ordered the Gamjatang & Grilled Mackerel Set – $52.95 (for 2)
The gamjatang is perfectly spiced – bold and warming without overwhelming heat (and trust me, my spice tolerance is low!). Instead of the usual red kimchi, they load it with long strips of green napa cabbage, cut right before your eyes before serving. Some bean sprouts, watercress on top, with tender potatoes, chewy rice cakes, and massive pork bones that fall right off – so meaty and flavorful. Served with a side of sweet mustard sauce. Pure comfort on a cold day.
The grilled mackerel was enormous and incredibly plump – way bigger than expected! As an oily fish, it’s rich and satisfying, but we barely made it through a third. If you’re a mackerel fan like me, it’s a must-order.
.
Banchan were simple and homey: nothing flashy, just solid classics. Bonus: it comes with fluffy steamed egg (jjim) that rounds out the meal perfectly. I can eat an entire bowl of rice with just the steamed egg 😊
.
This set was massive for two – we left with about 1/4 of the soup and 2/3 of the fish! Pro tip: Save some broth and ask them to make fried rice with it at the end. Game-changer.
.
Highly recommend for hearty, soul-warming Korean food in Flushing!“

“I’ve been to this IHOP before, and I have to say — the service has improved a lot since a few years back. This time everything was excellent from start to finish. We went on a Sunday for brunch, and even though the place was packed, we only waited about 10 minutes to be seated. The restaurant looked clean and well-organized; you can even see the kitchen as soon as you walk in, and everything was running smoothly.
Our server was kind, attentive, and respectful — she really stayed on top of everything. The manager was also visible on the floor helping out and making sure customers were taken care of, which shows great leadership and teamwork.
The food came out quickly, fresh, and hot — perfectly cooked pancakes, crispy hash browns, and great breakfast combos. Prices were reasonable, and I liked that they don’t automatically include the tip for parties under six, so we could tip extra for the great service.
Overall, we had a great family brunch — good food, friendly staff, and easy parking. Definitely one of the better IHOP experiences we’ve had!

“We were visiting Flushing and noticed this food truck when we walked by a few times after 5:30pm-6pm. Finally had a chance to try it and wished that we did it sooner, not on the last night of our trip. The name is labeled incorrectly and should be Ajiang BBQ instead. He took his time with the bbq, the seasoning was right on and spicy! Most items are $2 with some at market price. We tried the squid ($5) and really delicious! Give him a try and you’ll be glad that you do. Starts at 6pm though.“
“Overall a nearly excellent burger in the Shake Shack style can be had here! There's about 20 different styles of burgers with creative combinations. We had the O'dada and double whammy burgers. Both were overall very good with fresh, high quality ingredients and an excellent brioche style roll. The main problem we had was the burgers were a bit too greasy and excessively juicy which kept us from giving a 5 star rating.. It was difficult eating these burgers without making a mess and the fatty juices were flowing out like a fountain. Despite this these are still probably the best burgers in Queens due to high quality ingredients and being very tasty. The service was quick and friendly! Recommended if you're in the area and you're craving a Shake Shack style burger.“
