“One of the best Kbbq if not the best kbbq restaurant I’ve ever been to. The eel was so fresh, the short rib was marinated to perfection. But the best thing on the table was the kimchi. The kimchi was crunchy, it was seasoned perfectly, and it was fermented just enough to pair perfectly with the proteins. The hospitality was amazing! The lady treated our party like her relatives and showed us what’s real hospitality is. My friends and I love how kind she was to us and we could not ask for a better meal. We will definitely come back more often!!“

I also noticed how kind and welcoming she was with every customer, not just me. Her customer service impressed me so much that I returned the very next day! The cookie butter latte was delicious, and the ciabatta panini was fresh and full of flavor. Tiffany recognized me and was just as sweet and accommodating as the day before. I’ll definitely be back to try more of the menu, but especially to see Tiffany! It’s rare to find someone who genuinely loves what they do, and her warmth, positive energy, and constant smile make all the difference. She’s truly an asset to this business! ☕💚“

The server was very nice and they had the World Cup on TV & music playing down low. I ordered the double Burger Queen w/ truffle fries & a can of coke zero. The burger was moist tasteful sauces delicious & fried onions give it that extra taste. I saw some comments about burger & fries too salty (THEY WEREN'T) The truffle fries again were absolutely delicious so once I was done I went and ordered another double Burger Queen. Their specialty is beef & cabbage soup with rice, served with a side of omelette and kimchi radish (banchan). It’s simple, but packed with bold flavors. I went with the spicy option, which was still pretty mild, but incredibly flavorful and comforting.

The beef was super tender, and the soup also came with glass noodles, which was a nice touch. Nothing fancy, just really good, comforting food done right.

“I’ve been coming here on and off for many years — this place has probably been around at least 20 years. It’s one of those old neighborhood sushi spots a lot of locals know about.

This is Korean-style sushi, which is a little different from traditional Japanese sushi. One thing that makes it unique is they give you Korean spicy sauce to dip the sushi in, which actually adds a nice kick and a different flavor.

Also just a heads up, this place is take-out only, so you’re basically grabbing your food and going.

The portions are still pretty generous, so if you’re just trying to eat a lot and get full, this place does the job.

That said, prices have gone up recently and the sashimi slices seem to be getting smaller compared to years ago.

If you're looking for real high-end sushi, this probably isn’t the place. But if you want a lot of sushi for the money and a quick takeout meal, it still works.“

Ordered the Gamjatang & Grilled Mackerel Set – $52.95 (for 2)

The gamjatang is perfectly spiced – bold and warming without overwhelming heat (and trust me, my spice tolerance is low!). Instead of the usual red kimchi, they load it with long strips of green napa cabbage, cut right before your eyes before serving. Some bean sprouts, watercress on top, with tender potatoes, chewy rice cakes, and massive pork bones that fall right off – so meaty and flavorful. Served with a side of sweet mustard sauce. Pure comfort on a cold day.

The grilled mackerel was enormous and incredibly plump – way bigger than expected! As an oily fish, it’s rich and satisfying, but we barely made it through a third. If you’re a mackerel fan like me, it’s a must-order.

Banchan were simple and homey: nothing flashy, just solid classics. Bonus: it comes with fluffy steamed egg (jjim) that rounds out the meal perfectly. I can eat an entire bowl of rice with just the steamed egg 😊
