“Better Half Coffee Kitchen is such a cute little spot in the Woodside/Jackson Heights area! ☕✨ Their chopped cheese is seriously BUSSIN 🤤🔥 and the coffee is just as good—so fresh and flavorful. But honestly, what makes this place even better is the staff. Everyone was so friendly, welcoming, and sweet. You can really tell they care about their customers. Definitely a hidden gem in the neighborhood and a spot I’ll be coming back to! ❤☕🥪“

“I like this place. Food was good not that amazing but they are actually good. The servers too slow for small place like that, I ordered Thai Ice Tea never come out but they put on the bill, i told them about it, they readjusted the bill.

Ordered two desserts. Black bean with sticky rice and i dont know whats they called it this tiny bites colorful shaped with mung bean inside. The black bean with sticky rice was so good. Might be too sweet for most people, I recommend to share, bcos it will be too much and too sweet for yourself. The tiny colorful bites with mung bean inside, eeuwwwww. BIG NO. It has this fragrance taste like toilet freshener. I cant.“

“ten seconds rice noodles in elmhurst is easily a five-star spot. the broth comes boiling hot, and cooking the fresh ingredients at the table is a great experience. the rice noodles have a perfect chewy texture, and the flavor is deep and authentic. definitely the best comfort food in the area“

“I knew it would be amazing before we even walked in. We picked four dishes between the two of us and it was plenty. The flavor was strong on the dishes themselves, and the two sauces complimented every dish nicely. We got pork chili, cucumber salad, and two different momos; they were all excellent. We were surprised by a cheap bill at the end. My daughter was born the next day and I’ll never forget this dinner.“

“The most authentic taishan/canton style you can get. Been coming here all my life, from toddler to middle age adulthood. The food is delicious, packed full of flavor, and honestly the best canton lobster you will ever find. Brother Wah is a master of wok hay.

They recently changed management within the last year or so, though still a tight-knit circle of the same employees, and the service has greatly improved, along with table-side amenities. Their business was hit hard by COVID, along with the entire street, and hasn't seemed to recover the same amount of patrons, which is a huge shame.

Definitely recommending their canton lobster, along with their young chow fried rice, saucy clams, and fried salt n garlic beans!

“I’ve been to every Thai restaurant in Elmhurst, and this place takes the crown. My boyfriend and I come here every weekend because the food is incredibly authentic. Their Saturday $6 boat noodles are absolutely amazing, and the papaya salad actually tastes traditional (so hard to find around here!). The staff are also amazing people. Highly recommend!“

“We had a very enjoyable meal here today. There were three of us, and we ordered several dishes to share, including chicken feet, siomai, and seafood with noodles. We also tried several other dishes, and everything we had was enjoyable.

The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and was quite busy during our visit. There was a good selection of food, and we enjoyed being able to share and try different dishes together.

Overall, we had a very pleasant dining experience. I would be happy to come back and try more of their dishes next time.“

“We came here around 4:00 PM and were surprised to be told there would be about a one-hour wait for a table for two without a reservation—even that early! 😄 Since we didn't want to wait, we decided to sit at the bar instead.

We ordered the salad, steak, cheeseburger, and chicken wings. The food was good, and we enjoyed everything we tried.

The staff were friendly and attentive, even though the restaurant was extremely busy. Overall, we had a good experience and would recommend making a reservation if you plan to dine during busy hours.“

“Today I needed Cinnabon to make my son a cake for his bday, I didn’t know how many I needed or what sizes should I use ( I wish Cinnabon sold cakes ) well Melissa was AMAZING !! She helped me out with all my questions and concerns , she even provided me with freshly made buns and told me exactly what time to come back for them . She assisted me with helping me turn them into a cake with my cake stand . I couldn’t have gotten a better staff member .. she went above and beyond and made my sons birthday so very special with his favorite desert !!! I wanted to make sure her services she provided today was known to everyone who wants to do the same and make any occasion special like she did for me !!“
