“I’ve been coming to this coffee shop for over two years now, and there’s truly nothing else like it in the neighborhood. The quality of their coffee is consistently excellent, and you can tell they take pride in what they serve. Rodrigo makes my caramel mocha latte every morning — it’s the perfect way to start my day!

The atmosphere is always warm and inviting. I often bring my laptop to get some work done; the Wi-Fi is reliable, the music is always on point, and the vibe is just right for focusing or relaxing.

Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for great coffee, friendly service, clean and a welcoming environment.“

Baruir's Coffee Coffee Shops • $$
40-07 Queens Blvd, Sunnyside

“My favorite place for coffee. They roast their own coffee and custom grind it to your needs, French press in my case. Great hot and iced coffee to go. Iced is poured over coffee cubes not ice cubes. So it’s never diluted as the ice melts. And they have tasty mini croissants to go with it 😋 Conveniently located across 40th Street station on the 7 line so you can grab your coffee and quickly get to the El. The staff are very friendly and helpful. It’s always nice to go there. They’ve been in business for about 60 years so they’re doing it right.“

“I stopped by the White Castle in Sunnyside on Queens Boulevard, and it delivered exactly what you would expect from this classic fast-food chain. It’s a compact and convenient location, especially useful if you’re in the area and want something quick, with the added bonus of being open 24 hours for late-night cravings or early-morning bites.
The menu is the familiar White Castle lineup, with the small square sliders being the main highlight. They come out soft, warm, and steamed in that signature style that gives them their unique texture and taste. When freshly made, they’re especially satisfying and pair well with fries, chicken rings, or one of the combo meals if you want something more filling. It’s simple comfort food that is consistent with what people expect from the brand.

This location offers both dine-in and drive-thru service, which makes it flexible depending on how you want to order. The drive-thru is very convenient, although it can get backed up during peak hours due to the steady flow of customers. Inside, the setup is basic and focused on speed and efficiency rather than atmosphere, which fits the fast-food style perfectly.

One of the biggest advantages of this spot is its 24-hour availability, making it a reliable option at almost any time of day.

Whether it’s late at night or early in the morning, it tends to stay busy with people looking for a quick meal. Service is generally fast, and the staff handle a constant stream of orders, so things move along even during rush periods.

The seating area is small and practical, more suited for quick meals than long stays. Most customers either grab their food to go or eat briefly before heading out, which matches the fast-paced environment of the location.

Small Store parking, otherwise parking in the surrounding area can sometimes be a challenge, especially during busier times of the day, so many people prefer the drive-thru or walking in from nearby streets or transit stops. Despite that, the location is very accessible and works well for locals and passersby alike.

Overall, the White Castle in Sunnyside is a dependable and straightforward option if you’re looking for classic sliders or a quick bite any time of day. It focuses on speed, convenience, and consistency, making it a solid choice for fast food in the neighborhood.“
