We found this place walking around the neighborhood. It’s unassuming, simple and an institution for the area.Last time we grabbed small bags of their organic roasts for home. We like doing pour overs and espresso. My partner specifically liked the Guatemalan bean for its blueberry notes. Great fresh roasted coffee done on premises. When I'm out near Queens Blvd I'll stop in and buy a couple pounds of French roast Colombian beans. Wish they were closer to my house. They do grind lt up if you need. They have been in business for close to 60 years if not more.
It's awesome that places like this can still be found out here. Aside from those fancy, pretentious cafes, this place shines as a classic, old school neighborhood coffee roaster. They roast their beans on site in the open. I spoke to the owner. You can tell he is proud of his establishment and takes pride in what they do.
