“The latte with coffee beans from Puerto Rico was the most delicious one that I have ever had. I came across the coffee shop when I visited my friend in NY. I just wanted some banana bread, but the staffs were recommeding me to try their coffee constantly! Well, just as we can assert when we really trust, I was intrigued by their coffee and came back to try a latte before my flight. I've never had the coffee before! The latte that I chose was $11, yet it was worthy! When I come back to NY, I will visit this coffee shop again!“
“Loved this coffee shop! It looks tiny but has a 'secret' upstairs area that is really nice to get some work done. I was a bit skeptical about infused coffee at first (due to bad experiences in other places), but it turned out to be awesome!! Alejandra is super friendly and welcoming and makes this place feel like home. Highly recommended if you're in the area and are looking for great coffee and home-like vibe.“
“Great guy awesome service awesome nuts great quality of everything really good coffee awesome shop really clean and organizedGreat brother...great service...luxury nuts...great quality...Everything is perfect...really good cafeGreat store, really clean and organizedGood luck, God willing“
“This is my favorite neighborhood cafe; I've been coming here since the day I first moved into UWS and has been a regular ever since for over 1+ year. Great-tasting and beautiful coffee with a cool vibe, lots of seating area to get some work done (though there's no WiFI) and has a good food options as well.“
“Gio got me right when it came to what I needed with the specialty beans from Puerto Rico (Maricao). The whiskey was smoother and felt sweet but the Rum had a potency that was unparalleled. It's becoming one of my favorite community coffee shops in NY! Where people can come and sit down and talk about their favorite movies with complete strangers over the most infectious espressos.“
“Roast'd offers high-quality and fresh coffee, as well as friendly and excellent customer service. All of the baristas are professional and knowledgable about coffee - especially Edgar, who is so friendly and thoughtful, always going out of his way to make customers feel at home and enjoy their experience at Roast'd. Overall, a wonderful coffee spot in Bergen County I return to again and again!“
“My favorite cafecito shop in the city! The vibe is always warm, welcoming and fun. The coffee is AMAZING! My favorite is the coquito latte with oat milk & coquito rolls. This place is unmatched. Come say hi to Masiel! ? laptop & dog friendly.“
“This place serves delicious coffee and chai lattes. I've visited multiple times to try their new offerings, and each time, I've been impressed. Their baristas are knowledgeable and passionate about coffee, taking great care with each customer's order. As a result, the taste of their coffee surpasses homemade brews and the coffee from typical cafes. Additionally, they sell coffee beans, making it convenient for those who enjoy brewing coffee at home. The location is somewhat secluded from residential buildings, turning this spot into a hidden gem in the area. Moreover, they offer coffee training courses for those interested in learning more about appreciating and crafting coffee.“
“Loved the brown sugar latte! I usually don’t deviate from my usual as I genuinely like the taste of coffee and don’t want to dilute it with syrup etc. but this one was well-balanced. Featured artworks are a cool addition. The quaintness of it all is attractive.“
“787 is a Puerto Rican cafe with multiple locations around the city. I've been to a couple now, and I love this place! This location in Soho is quite small - there's only one bench with a couple of small tables. They have so many unique drinks here, and they have different alcohol-infused coffee beans too. If you like their beans, they do sell bags of them, but just a warning that they are quite expensive. My boyfriend got the coquito latte, and I got the chocolate chip cookie. The latte was really good! It was sweet, but not too sweet, and the coffee flavor wasn't overpowering even though it comes with a double shot. I didn't know that it would come in a cute pouch, so that was a nice surprise! It seems like the iced drinks come in the pouch, and the hot drinks come in normal cups. I didn't have high expectations for the cookie, but this has actually become one of my favorite chocolate chip cookies in the city. It's a very thick cookie, and it has huge chunks of chocolate in it, which I love. We did have to wait a while for the coffee since there was a line, and there was only one person working there. But I appreciate how this place stands out from all the other coffee shops in the city, and it is now one of my go-to cafes!“
“787 Coffee is a hidden gem! Their coffee is rich y súper sabroso, making each sip a delight. The barista, Macky, deserves special mention for being incredibly attentive and kind. His warm demeanor adds to the overall welcoming atmosphere of the cafe. Highly recommend ❤️“
“Located on busy Broadway so street parking. Maybe have been lucky bec I usually get a spot when needed. Prices are good. Ube latte is a big cup at $5. Not too sweet for me. Chocolate croissant $3.50 was good warmed which made the filling gooey. Good space with small tables in front of the cafe and better in the back. Maybe could be cozier with dimmer lighting. Friendly service. Clean restroom available.“
“Amazing place for coffee. Price is reasonable and the decoration is so beautiful! So many people waiting in line for coffee from early in the morning to the afternoon… if you don’t mind the wait, this is a perfect coffee place for you.“
“Walking into the place at first glance it was very impressive. They have a car suspended from the ceiling. The options are very limited but very delicious indeed. They also have Colombian treats to much on and the ladies at the counter are very efficient, quick and friendly. I was staying near by for the week so it was very convenient to have a delicious coffee down the street.“
“Calling all foodies! This is a place not to miss!We only tried pastries but will definitely be back for the other yumminess on the menu. Our favourite was the zaatar bun and the pistachio croissant! The pastry is so crispy, it’s incredibly delicious! We went there on a Saturday! There was a queue but it was worth it!If you are planning and sitting down, there’s only a few seats inside (so on a rainy day it might be packed)I wish there was a covered seating area outside like some other places around.Note for foodies from out of town: there are no toilets!“
“The barista is AWESOME. She's going to work with you, no matter your coffee interest and knowledge, to make you feel seen and valued. I'm a huge coffee nerd but my friends aren't and we all had the best coffee experience from a fabulous pour over to a delicious maple latte. Please go here and appreciate an awesome coffee artist.“
“Found this place when looking for a new cozy coffee spot. My boyfriend lives in Flushing so this was close enough for us to drive to, and the crepes looked so good. We came in on a cold snowy day, and immediately felt the warmth of fresh coffee and sweet fluffy crepes. We also got a croissant sandwich which was one of our favorite breakfast foods lately. The owner, George, was so friendly, and we spent a while just chatting to him about shared interests and family life.If you’re looking for a welcoming place to enjoy some great food, yummy coffee, and where you’re supporting a small business instead of a corporation, Maillard is for you. Worth the drive even from Long Island. We’ll be back soon!“
“Soooo goood!!!! I've ordered so many times from here since I first tried it and it hits every time! The coffee is so tasty. The breakfast burrito is soooo yummy, the refried beans on it gives it that cali breakfast burrito taste. The bacon egg and cheese? Bomb. The pancakes? Fluffy and buttery and perfect. The waffles are great too. This place is a treat. 10/10.“
“What a shop! James is a master of his craft and makes everyone's cup to perfection, while also being a complete gentlemen and local guide to all the regulars and folks visiting from out of town. The coffee experience is not rushed and the radiator in the winters keep the place nice and toasty. I would highly reco all cyclists looking to stop for fuel to stop in here as well. One of those hidden coffee gems.“
“Excellent espresso and priced at $2.75 which is as close to Italy prices I've ever found in NYC. Also the "drip" coffee is actually a pour over. It was fragrant, fruity and delicious. Lastly if you order to stay you get a glass/china cup so you don't have to throw anything into landfill.“
“Lowkey spot in the Horizon Media building. They brew a Stumptown blend as their coffee and Black n White for their espresso. The drink was well-prepared but the blend itself didn’t have any notable flavors. Good vibe to chill with friends or do work.“
“Visited Bed Sty just to see where my parents grew up. Neighborhood has gotten much safer and much nicer than in my day. This great coffee shop on the corner, just up the block from where my grandfather’s butcher shop used to be was a fantastic rest stop on this visit. The coffee was amazing, the staff was courteous and welcoming. All around great experience.“
“Big open windows so there's a lot of natural light. There are lots of different sizes of tables so you can work quietly by yourself or at bigger tables and benches for groups to gather.I'm not a huge fan of coffee but I love the smell of it. it's really cool that they roast their own beans! I tried their hot chocolate and chai latte and they were delicious.“
“This is a place of relaxed calming ambience, with incredible service and of course phenomenal coffee. I would conduct any business or meets with friends anytime. I would recommend this place to every coffee loverrs. The pastries are excellent as well I give it 100 out of 100.Wheelchair accessibility: Although I was help inside which was a blessing it use a bit larger ramp otherwise it was a great experience“
“I came here with a friend for breakfast. Usually I come to grab a latte to go but we stayed this day. The place is clean and spacious, and has lot of seating area. It was a bit crowded as many are working on their laptops. They have free wifi.We placed our orders quickly and grabbed a table. It didn't take too long before they brought the lattes and the food. The service was quick and everything was very tasty. I ordered the panino al Crudo and the focaccia was crunchy yet soft, nicely toasted. The mustard sauce adds a nice favor to the prosciutto and provolone cheese. Highly recommended. My friend had the egg sammy combo with hash brown and drip coffee. She upgraded to a latte. Her feedback is also everything is very tasty. It is a great place to hang with friends or grab a quick lunch. I'll bring friends next time if they are in my neighborhood.“
“Hands down best coffee in NYCDietary restrictions: Vegan options, both for milks and treats. Non-nuts options.Kid-friendliness: My daughter is welcome to run around the shop. It’s still a roastery so not kid friendly in terms of baby proofing, but surely a wonderful place. Also parent friendly - there’s a window to order from the outside if you’re in a rush!“
“All the Staff at Gillies Coffee,Just wanted to reach out and make a loud Shout out to Gillies for always doing what’s right by (me), their customer. Having placed an order yesterday morning for 10 pounds of Gillies DNS and Sumatra coffee and shoveling my walks and driveway, I settled in to have a cup and ponder a quiet snow day here in Greensburg PA, ahhhh.Shortly afterwards I received an e-mail notification from Gillies offering a 15% special on orders placed. While my initial reaction was , darn! I decided to send a return e-mail of my order confirmation with a request for the SNOW15 special and ask for it‘s application to my earlier order. Since the promotion SNOW15 clearly stated that prior orders were not applicable I felt my order would not qualify. We’ll I was wrong! This morning I received a credit for the 15%. That gesture of good customer understanding and service solidifies why Gillies is not only a great coffee roaster but a good company too!I want to say, being a coffee hound I have been brewing and serving Gillies coffee in my home for years. It’s always delicious and draws compliments and praise by my friends and relatives and I love their comments on Tim’s coffee. It make me feel special.Thank you again for always being there to fill my coffee needs, you are appreciated.Tim Gingery“
“Plain and simple coffee spot. Modern vibe and cool plants. They have decaf options which is nice. We had an oat milk latte and a cold brew and split a quiche. All were yummy and the staff was super friendly. They have a little vintage rack of clothes and cute hats with kinship on them. Dog friendly, kiddo friendly, in general happy spot.“
“Such a great breakfast spot!! Amazing service :) The Shook Knight was smooth and delicious. I played around with the toast combo, where I got the avocado toast but with the arugula pesto and balsamic glaze from the other toast item. IT WAS SO GOOD, coming back for “
“Bean House is easily one of the best cafes in this area. I hope they expand because whenever I am here, it’s always packed! The coffee is delicious, I think I’ve tried 6 different variations now and they’re all amazing. The ambiance is cozy and I love their baked goods in the front. Smoothies are also really good and their honey toast is a nice treat. Highly recommend“
“I love this coffee shop because the barista are friendly and helpful even taking your coffee up to the second floor if you ask. The coffee itself is excellent and there is an artistic flare to the place that shows that someone who runs this shop, has a real designing eye but there is a problem. When the weather approaches 32°F it is absolutely freezing in this small two-story building. The barista is obviously cold and for a customer it is borderline unsafe. Otherwise this is a great place.“
“Not only superbly roasted coffee, but a friendly atmosphere and community spirited business philosophy! Imagine, offering classes free with the purchase of a bag of coffee! I’ve paid over a hundred dollars for nowhere near as good a class!! Espresso is a passion of mine, and I visit cafes all over when I travel, and when I say Abbotsford Road is stellar, I really mean it!“
“We found this place walking around the neighborhood. It’s unassuming, simple and an institution for the area.Last time we grabbed small bags of their organic roasts for home. We like doing pour overs and espresso. My partner specifically liked the Guatemalan bean for its blueberry notes. Pricing is average or medium low in consideration of the industry.Yes, you can’t really tell when the beans were roasted as they’re not on the bag, but we had no issues or concerns. It’s from an older more classic time where specialty coffee wasn’t a thing. We’ll always pick up a bag or 2 for ourselves on the way back out of nyc.“
