About Doma

Doma is an excellent place to enjoy Korean comfort food. It is a cozy, small mom and pop spot that creates a warm, inviting atmosphere. The chicken soup and beef fried dumplings are fantastic, and the teriyaki chicken bento box features cute, tasty chunks of chicken in a delicious mix of veggies. The bibimbap is also a highlight, loved for its fresh veggies, although tastes may vary. The food is authentic and flavorful, with dishes like Gimbap and beef ribs that are rich in flavor. Portions are generous, though some meat portions may feel a little small. The service is friendly and outstanding, with staff who are helpful and communicative. Visitors often receive an unexpected soup and appetizer, enhancing the welcoming experience. Doma’s prices are reasonable for NYC, making it a great spot for a quick lunch or dinner, and a place that many recommend. The bright interior and consistently good food make it a favorite for many.

Came in on a Wednesday evening. Quiet, with a few tables going. Ordered rice cakes with cheese, a roll of spicy tuna, and a bottle of soju. I was greeted with some spicy cucumber and a spicy soup. Very very pleasant. If you can handle spice, it’s a pleasure, if not, ask for little to no spice. I like Thai American spice so it worked out well for me. The rice cakes were delicious and satisfying in flavor and texture. The waitress was very pleasant and attentive. ...read full review
