“excellent food. there is always a little wait but that speaks to the excellence of the cuisine and how good the place is. if you go for dimsum it’s really affordable. it you opt for some of the entrees the prices are good but we tend to favor their lobster sticky rice which is so big we can rarely finish the entirety of two lobsters and it’s so incredibly delicious.“

“Will be back soon! Only had time to choose two items from the lunch menu to takeout. The pork chop and fish fillet were more than worth it. The lunch special came with rice either white or brown and a cup of soup. The food here is super homey. The service at the restaurant is great. The hostess was super friendly. The place was packed and I believe there is a second floor. Waited a hot minute for my food but there was room to sit while you do.“

“Reliable chinese spot that we’ve been coming to for years. It’s gone through a few ownership changes throughout that time but the food is usually on point. Recommend fried flounder, sweet and sour chicken, winter melon soup, duck feet, walnut shrimp, clams with black bean sauce, snails, sang san beef, chow fun noodle, salt and pepper pork chop.
Some seafood items like fried flounder and lobsters are market price, you can ask before ordering. Sometimes you can be unlucky and get a smaller size flounder than other times.“

Their menu features a great variety of flavorful options such as Vegetable Manchurian, Gobi Salt Pepper, Paneer Tangra Masala, Gobi Chili, Veg Spring Roll, Paneer Chili, Vegetable Hakka Noodles, and Tangra Masala Noodles. Each dish highlights the bold, aromatic flavors that make Indo-Chinese cooking so popular.
Overall, Tangra Masala is a wonderful spot to explore authentic Indo-Chinese flavors. With its welcoming ambiance, delicious food, attentive service, and reasonable prices, it’s a place worth visiting.“

“I ordered on door dash and I can honestly say the food was good and fresh. I ordered a chicharron monfongo and a tres golpe with a beef pastelito and a papa rellena. I honestly do not understand the bad reviews. The prices are very reasonable too. Worth giving them a try.“

“Food was delicious! Had the Bronzino which came with the sayadeya rice. The fish was so delicious, perfectly seasoned. The unexpected star of the show was the grilled octopus which was so soft and juicy… not chewy at all and lots of flavor. Maybe the best i’ve had. Friendly Egyptians. The service and atmosphere fits the vibe, very casual spot. Food was served quickly. Will be back!“

“Mermaid, whether this location or others, has really fresh and tasty seafood. This location is very convenient being off of (not in) Times Square. I love going there for their small bites during their happy hour, which does include weekends! They have far more than oysters and I love their clam chowder, raw fish dishes like tartar, and lobster knuckles.“

“157 Tavern has been a staple in the area for 10 years and is an excellent choice for parties or group gatherings. You can simply provide them with your budget, and they will curate the menu for you, which makes the planning process very convenient.
Regarding the food:
Grilled Spanish Octopus: Highly recommended. The potato pave is delicious, and the octopus is tender with a perfect charred exterior.
Short Rib with Bone Marrow: The meat is very tender and falls apart at the touch of a fork, though I wish the portion of bone marrow was a bit larger.
King Salmon: Quite tender.
Burrata Cheese: Standard/average.
Caramel Flan: Delicious and beautifully presented.
Overall, it is a great spot for a nice dinner.“

“Most amazing seafood. Go for happy hour. Get all the oysters. The lobster pasta made my husband weak in the knees. He won't stop talking about the olive brine Bloody Mary. THE BEST.“

“Overall, a good meal with a few highlights and a few misses
The standout for me was the buckwheat ice cream. I expected a rough, grainy texture, but it was surprisingly smooth with a subtle buckwheat aroma. The sweetness was very restrained and only became noticeable after a few bites, which made it especially enjoyable. The mushroom rice was another favorite. The seasoning was spot on and brought out the natural flavor of the mushrooms. The combination of green onions and mushrooms also looked beautiful on the plate. The fried chicken was solid as well, tender and well cooked
The beef patty was fairly average and didn’t leave much of an impression. The vegetable tempura, unfortunately, was the weakest dish of the meal. The batter was uneven, and there seemed to be too much residual oil, making it feel quite heavy
The seating arrangement was the other downside. We were seated in a corner where 3 tables had been placed in a relatively small area, which felt a bit cramped. The experience would probably be much more enjoyable in one of the more open seating areas
Overall, some dishes were excellent, some were less memorable, but the buckwheat ice cream alone was worth trying.“

“Loved the tasting menu experience! Such an active kitchen and everything tasted amazing. I also ordered the lobster pot pie from the a la carte menu and the kitchen was able to fit it in before dessert. Great dinner! The flavor profiles were really blended. Loved small aspects like the coconut snow and the ginger granita.“

“San Sabino in New York gets a solid 4 out of 5 from me. The food was tasty and fresh and compared to their sister restaurant is definitely more fish forward. I made a point to try some of their most popular dishes. The lobster ravioli was flavorful and well executed. The cheese appetizer was balanced and nicely presented, though I would probably pass on it next time. The star of the night was the spicy tuna appetizer, which really stood out in both flavor and texture. The decor is beautiful and creates a great atmosphere, and the service was friendly throughout the meal. Overall, a very enjoyable experience.“

“Happy hour (5-7), followed by dinner at Upstate New York Craft Beer & Oysters in the East Village.
It’s a tiny place; we got there at 5pm and it was packed (and loud) by 7pm.
All their fish is bought at the market every day so the menu varies.
We had the grilled tuna with wasabi mashed potatoes & bok choy and the seared diver scallops over roasted vegetables with a prosciutto butter sauce, along with a French rosé.
Everything was delicious and the service was great too. Make sure you have a reservation.“

“We came here for Valentine’s Day dinner and had a great experience overall. The food was delicious across the board, and the service was attentive and welcoming. Our only small note is that the portions felt a bit on the smaller side, but the quality and presentation were excellent.“

“If you haven’t dined at Estiatorio Milos, you are genuinely missing out. I ordered the sashimi platter, oysters, and the bone-in filet. Everything was delicious and incredibly fresh. The menu has something for everyone, whether you’re in the mood for seafood or a solid cut of meat.
The service matches the quality of the food, attentive and welcoming from the moment you walk in. It’s the kind of dining experience that reminds you what hospitality is supposed to feel like.
Hudson Yards has no shortage of dining options, but Estiatorio Milos consistently delivers. Already planning my next visit.“

“I have to say for the small amount of food the prices are a bit high.
The calamares were good, but the cheese plate i wasn't happy with it. They gave me 3 very tiny thin slices of hard white cheese, 1 very small brie, 2 dry pieces of white bread, 1 dry piece of priciutto and what I mostly did not like was the 2 slices of mortadella meat. They could have given a better meat choice also instead of dry bread water crackers would be a better choice.
That's just cheap meat to me. Usually when I order a charcuterie plate I am satisfied. This was not satisfying.
My husband had the burger he said it was OK.
Nothing to brag about.
The Tin building inside has a nice vibe.
Other than that I felt like when I was in France. Very little food with high prices.
The server was kind.“
