“We came to celebrate a birthday and it exceeded our expectations! The food, and entertainment were incredible. What made our night was the service and our girl Claudia who kept us hydrated and took care of the birthday girl! Highly recommend and ask for Claudia!“
“Pio Pio is always a great option for a delicious Peruvian feast - been here too many times to count and always get the matadors platter w/ maduros instead of the salchipapas and sangria for the table! Great option for large groups and they take reservations too! Bueno!“
“Extremely delicious!! We got a large assortment of items. Top items are the beef salteña and the chicken sandwich. The beef salteña was better than the veggie, and the chicken sandwich was better than the chola. But everything was delicious. The rellenos were great as was the brisket artichoke mac n cheese. The peanut soup was very creamy. The rice pudding was also good.I am not very knowledgeable about Bolivian food but I'm a fan! Note there are only four outdoor dining tables.“
“Good vibe, the Tlalpeno Rojo soup is brilliant. The hot figs are a treat to share. Loco corn is also good. Chicken sandwiches are not their specialty. Delicious volcanic hot sauce. Neat weird variety of hot chocolates you can grab to go for a park stroll on a cold day.“
“Creative and delicious pan-Latin cuisine. The special, a whole branzino, was enormous and very good, as were the small plates. Unusual and festive presentations (crisp strips of plantain accompanied the guacamole, served in a molcajete) never detracted from the main point, which was the flavor. Atmosphere felt modern and trendy without ever being pretentious, due in no small part to the excellent service. I am only sorry we were just a party of 3 and did not have a chance to sample more items.“
“This place was really amazing. Me and my friends did a brunch. The food was fantastic the drinks were delicious. We really had a great time. The waitress treated us really good and she was always coming around to see if we needed anything. Thank you so much Maria for your service.“
“Excellent food & service. Arrived after 9pm on a Friday night to a warmly lit, beautifully decorated restaurant with aromas that made us want to try everything on the menu. We had a party of 7 so we were seated in the backroom- not to be disappointed as it was equally as charming. Our service was perfect with most of the wait staff chipping in. We ordered an amazing Uruguaian red wine (2bottles because it was perfect) and decided on 4 appetizers- Provoleta, Croston con Morcilla, 2 Croston con Morcilla - all were delicious and none lasted long on the table. Our main courses included Churrasco (everyone's fav), Milanesa de Pollo and pasta of the day entries. All 7 of us really enjoyed our meals but all agreed the Churrasco as the best dish.Thank you, Tabare, for making our first night of our NYC visit a very memorable one !“
“Visited here three times now (both brunch and dinner) and had a lovely experience each and every time. Enjoyed good food in a warm, welcoming atmosphere.Had a different server each time but service was consistently attentive, kind, and efficient as possible. Noticed that it always seems to be one person working the front of the restaurant at a time so when it gets busy they really hustle.Wanted to try the homemade banana bread because of the good reviews but they didn’t have any. Betty recommended a dessert that resembled a plantain donut filled with a sweet bean paste and it was really yummy! It’s clear that the owners put a lot of love into the food and care about the community around them. Highly recommend.“
“I’ve visited twice and had several items on the menu and not a single one disappoints. Cozy atmosphere, and very friendly waiters and bartenders. The service is really great as well. I’m so happy to have Fito as a great addition to the neighborhood.Vegetarian options: The nachos can be prepared vegetarian, and there are many pescatarian options (shrimp ceviche, tuna tartare).“
“Was the perfect plan for Christmas Eve. The cocktails was amazing, the services was amazing, Alex was really nice!! We can see that they take care of every little detail in the food and drinks presentation and it was absolutely good, the music, the environment- Just perfect. I really don’t understand the reviews that says the opposite this place is 1000“
“Great food, amazing service and ambiance! It was my first time having Latin American food and I’m definitely a fan! Everything was so favourable and very affordable! Definitely recommend the mixed seafood ceviche, the portions were huge and we could not finish. The brunch menu is also great but be aware that the scrambled eggs are not actually just eggs, it’s scrambled with a type of corn/nutty thing. Highly recommend making a reservation for the weekend!“
“Celebrated my grandmother’s 80th birthday at Casa Tuya and had a wonderful time. The ambiance, food and service was absolutely amazing. Our server Julia was attentive and made sure my family and my grandmother had a good time. It’s a must go no matter the age. Thank you Casa Tuya. We will be going back soon.“
“We were walking through Central Park and decided to stop at a random place for a beer and restroom and found this gem. The beer was great, the cocktails were great, the sangria was great, and the service was phenomenal- warm, welcoming, and generous. We'll definitely be back for rhe food later, everything passing by us looked delicious“
“Fatima's is the best. I got the pernil, which I don't see on the "dishes I recommend" list, and that is a crime because this pernil was *amazing.* Also just plain old rice and beans, I don't know what they do to them but even the next day when they were cold they were still the best damn rice and beans I've ever had.“
“What a great hidden gem! The food is great and extremely fresh seafood! The ceviche mixto was flavorful and great portion to share. The highlight of the meal was the dessert, homemade ice cream that was creamy and unique! Will definitely go back!!“
“Hello fellow restauranteur, this review is about to dive into the reasons I have to believe that Colonia Verde is a caliber above all else. Yes, that’s right. Bold statement alert: best restaurant in Brooklyn? I think yes. Slay-standing service, molecular energy, rustic atmosphere (vibe) inviting romance, all traits they have, yet aren’t what’s important here. What’s important is the perfectly thought out the menu, cohesive flavors and flawless execution from the chefs. Thank you for the premier experience. Rock On??“

With its inviting ambiance and delectable dishes, it's a place where you can savor the flavors of the Dominican.Food:The menu at Tina is a celebration of the vibrant flavors and rich culinary heritage of both Spanish and Dominican cuisines. From classic Dominican dishes like mofongo and sancocho to Spanish favorites such as paella and tapas, the restaurant offers a diverse selection of mouthwatering options. The dishes are expertly prepared, flavorful, and a delightful representation of the best of both culinary traditions.Service:The service at Tina is exceptional, with a special mention for waitress Karina, who provided attentive and friendly service throughout the dining experience. Her warm demeanor and knowledge of the menu added to the overall enjoyment of the meal.Overall, Tina offers a fantastic blend of Spanish and Dominican cuisine, making it a must-visit for anyone looking to explore the diverse and delicious flavors of the Dominican. With its top-notch service and inviting ambiance, Tina is a gem for those seeking an authentic and flavorful dining experience.“
“Food amazing, staff amazing, hospitality amazing. Everything was very fresh, seafood cooked perfectly and the corn nuts are fun. Came with a large party and Tito took care of us, if you’re on the fence about dining here, you shouldn’t be.“
“Amazing food. Just simply amazing. Bewitching even. Came here on a Tuesday night (not exactly a going out night) and pretty early too around 6:30 or so. Ordered seafood and the name sake of the restaurant: The Octopus. What arrived was an obscenity of deliciousness. Tentacle was very large with garnish of the Parsnip Puree. It was incredibly soft and tasty. Our server Alejandra was was great and very knowledgeable and made suggestions that were right on point. Guacamole, Lobster Taquitos, Ceviche, my god those were delicious! But the key was the namesake of the restaurant. Octopus was not just delicious it was obscenely so! Cocktails were great even though I don't particularly like them (I think that straight up drink is better). And then to top it all off were the Churros. Best ones I've had since Spain and they were missing the melted chocolate (that might be a great idea). One thing though I didn't count on were the musicians. They just add so much to the ambiance of the place, so if you visit make sure you have some cash on hand. You probably will need it.“
“Last night, my family and I had take out from Casa Adela. They were so satisfied with their meals that they got nostalgic. They reminisced about my deceased grandmother’s food. A few of them had tears in their eyes as they enjoyed their meals. I can’t help but think Casa Adela’s food is a masterpiece that evokes intense emotions and beautiful memories ? ¡Gracias y buen provecho a todos!“
“This is a restaurant thats by the community for the community. With it’s owner/ executive chef bringing a beautiful fusion of asian/hispanic cuisines and the staff catering to every need and truly making it an enjoyable and personalized experience no matter the size of your party. The food is an absolute gastronomic experience but the drinks are equally as amazing of an experience.“
“I went there for my mom Bday and I came back for a farewell dinner with a big group of latinas talking at the same time ??? … food, atmosphere and service was so great!! They also have live Paraguayan Typical music with an “Arpa” … we really recommend it !!! thank so much I love Paraguay team !!????❤️“
“I don't think I've had an experience like this before, my waiter Míguelo took care of everything from start to finish, despite the noise from the music he was in charge of explaining all the dishes, making recommendations, I really recommend this place to spend a good time with friends and family.“
“Loved our meal and the whole ambiance! Our family shared the pork taco platter, guacamole, churro donuts and crème brûlée. Food was unique, carefully prepared with excellent flavor. High quality food. Love the vibe and decor. Very comfortable to enjoy your time. Hip but not uncomfortably trendy. Server was so sweet.“
“Cute place for a good feed before (or after) a night out. Mains are generous; highly recommend churrasco. Idk if it was just our meal but I felt like our two mains could have been served a bit hotter - perhaps it was because today was cold and rainy I particularly wanted a hearty hot meal to warm up. Service was timely and “
“The food is amazing. The Alcapurrias are great. You get meat with every bite. The pasteles are the best. This is the way everyone's grandmother makes it. The mofongo is probably one of the best I've had in NYC. Other restaurants, the mofongo is dry by the time you've eaten half of it. Not at The Freakin Rican. They even have their own hot sauce. Great place to eat if you're looking for authentic Puerto Rican food.“
“The food was amazing! Great mix of Latin cuisine with unique flavors and fresh ingredients. The service was excellent, friendly staff. I was with my dog and it was easy to get a table outdoors. We ordered the pre-fixed menu for two: great amount of food worth the money. I loved the rice with chicken, the tuna tart and the churros were awesome, the chocolate was delicious. The music and atmosphere was great. I’ll definitely come back.“
“I think this place must have completely changed their menu, because it was absolutely not Cuban, except for an empanada appetizer and plantain sides. It was expensive New American. The description and images are wrong. Look at the latest menu before deciding to go here.“
“We went for the first time today. We were warmly welcomed as soon as we stepped into the door. We were seated immediately as we arrived well past the lunch rush, but before dinner. We ordered a few different things and ALL were delicious.Appetizer: Beef Empanada- chopped up beef instead of ground beef was enrobed in a delicious pastry crust. It had great seasoning and the slice of lime cut through any sense of heaviness that sometimes accompanies beef with pastry.Appetizer: Alitas Acevichada- Oh my goodness. If you like fried chicken and like lime flavoring, this is a dish well worth trying. The friend chicken was beautifully fried, moist and tender. It had a delicious sauce that was drizzled over the chicken and also set aside on the serving plate as additional sauce. Really fantastic. The staff mentioned that the sauce was the same at the ceviche sauce - so really delicious.Main Meal: Arroz Chaufa Tres Sabores- Classic dish that every Peruvian restaurant should do well, and well they did. It was perfectly seasoned and the shrimp was NOT overcooked. I was really impressed with all the flavors which worked well together.Aji de Gallina: Amazing. As my husband said, "I don't even mind that it is made with breast meat. It's still very moist and tender." Really this is amazing. The yellow sauce was delicious and the chicken was mixed in with some potatotes, which helped make the dish just a little creamier.Bisteak al Pobre: The fried eggs were done beautifully sunny side up. The steak was served over fries, plantains, and white rice. Really, this is a staple dish which was excecuted well.Dessert: We took it to go. We were too full to eat any more. But, the Passion Fruit Mousse was delicious, and we are awaiting to eat the Alfajores. They look delicious.Parking: Parking is a little werid- it's found at the end of the shopping plaza, by the dry cleaners. Otherwise, thers is some street parking as well.“
“Small, cozy atmosphere with yummy food and drinks. Guacamole was fresh, chips crisp. Chuleta al pastor amazing with its pineapple jam, moro and shaved brussel sprouts salad. The corn was yummy. I expected the maple maduros to be sweeter because of the maple but they were regular maduros which was still perfectly fine. Tamarind margarita and mezcal drink were perfect. I will definitely recommend and be back.“
“Hands down, some of the best food I’ve had recently! They use the freshest ingredients and make sure each dish is done the right way. After a 12 hour shift, it was time for a medium well, "Filet Mignon" was especially memorable. The service here is excellent. Our server [Elder] was attentive without being intrusive. The entire staff worked seamlessly together to create a seamless dining experience.I can’t say enough good things about the service at this restaurant/lounge. The staff is incredibly accommodating for minor changes and goes the extra mile to ensure guests are happy. Bravo!“
“Tres Leches Cake is THE BEST omg. I’ve been trying tres leches cake everywhere until I found this place by so many recommendations from other people, it’s truly amazing. The best I’ve ever had!Sayra helped me and she was so so sweet!!!“
“Everything was excellent, the truth is that every time we come they serve us very well, the drinks are delicious and the food is not to mention, 10/10, it is always our stop! A super comfortable place to eat, drink and dance, Jairo is an excellent waiter!“
“We had a holiday dinner event..I decided to cater food from Los Amigos due to their reviews...how close it was from work. The food was Dedelicious... we all loved and enjoyed the rice... the chicken..wings... Empandas, everything was just delicious!I place we look forward to going on our lunch break now as well!!Thank you for such delicious food!“
“We went for drinks and Monday night trivia. It was fun and we had a blast. We did not try the food. The atmosphere was friendly and the competition fierce. The host did a great job with everyone. You could tell there were many locals who show up on a regular basis. It was packed.“
“Brilliant. Perfect. I had no idea there was a Tabaré closer to my house than the one in Williamsburg. Love love love the place, the staff and the food obviously. Everything we ordered was delicious (Uruguayan sausage, Chicken Liver pate, Beet salad, Shrimps, Churrasco). I don’t think that we were done eating when we tried to figure out when we could come back next. Also, really fair prices. Just great :)“
“Very cute spot with really good coffee and service. Ecuadorian fried rice was delicious and hit the spot, the egg on top made the whole meal. Would strongly recommend, very well priced and good serving sizes. Not too many seats indoors but still worth a visit if you're in the mood for either coffee or good food.“
“Chucho's Hot Dogs is a great place to grab a delicious and creative hot dog. Their menu offers classic options alongside signature creations, with high-quality ingredients. They even allow for customization so you can build your own hot dog exactly how you like it. If you're looking for a fun and flavorful hot dog experience, Chucho's Hot Dogs is definitely worth checking out!“
“Stopped by on a sunday night with friends. The lambchops with mash potatoes were pretty good.I'd say avoid the teapot shots and just get normal cocktails if you need a drink. You're just wasting money watering down your alcohol. Fun idea, though:)Kid-friendliness: There were kids and more than enough space to move around.“
“We held the rehearsal dinner for my son's wedding at Palo Santo on 3/15/2024. The food, service, and ambiance were all amazing. Everyone in attendance raved about this place. Even though we had never been here before, the staff at Palo Santo made planning this event from Texas a piece of cake. We cannot recommend Palo Santo more highly.“
“I love that restaurant, very good Latin food, very good drinks, the best and above all excellent service that Pily provides, I really recommend it 100%Kid-friendliness: Excellent place to go with the family and especially take the children to have a good time, I recommend it“
“Excellent place! It has all the flavors of our beloved chili! We even took food and empanadas ?! The menu is very varied, it is difficult to choose. They treated us very well and the place was very nice. I recommend it ?. You will not regret!! ?“
“I played a show here on December 14th, 2023, with my band, In The Next Life, and one of the perks is it being right off the Jefferson Street L train station in Brooklyn. Yes, the stage is a little tight (if you're playing with a five-piece band) but the sound system, vibes, & atmosphere were amazing. Definitely would play here or come here again!“
“The chicken tikka masala and the naan feels authentic and is just a comforting but binge worthy meal to have. Their tandoori chicken wings are quite good as well. The naan tacos are better than the roti tacos cuz the rotis just disintegrate when you add all the toppings. Love all their chutneys as well!“
“I love it. The portions are large. I was BEYOND satisfied with the amount of food I received. I got the spring rolls, el patacon and the Yuri Fries I believe it was called. Very flavorful, the plantain for the patacon was not over fried or too oily. It felt like a healthy cheat meal and I loved it ?“
“excellent, highly recommended, I went with my wife and two daughters, super service, very friendly waiters, calm atmosphere, pleasant music with enough volume to be able to talk at the table, many dishes to eat, some excellent tacos paisas and the tesoro de mar so Delicious and mini burgers perfect for my youngest daughter, I will definitely return.“
“The whole restaurant was awesome; my only dislike was my friend and I were there for the whole brunch experience. We got there at 3:45 and were only able to get appetizers because our waiter never notified us that the kitchen closed. Therefore we never got the main meal, the unlimited Sangria or the dessert. We enjoyed the vibe and ended staying to order dinner that began at 6:00. Only to get burgers; because we really had our hearts set on the brunch.“
“I tried them during the winter village, and everything I ordered was pretty good. I ordered the horchata latte which is indeed sweet so I couldn't take too many sips, but tempered by the espresso in it (and I'm not even a coffee drinker) as well as the hibiscus tea which had just enough sweetness to balance the drink out. I'd get both again.I also ordered the loaded halloumi fries, which paired nicely with the meat and other toppings.“
“This is one of my favorite hidden secrets in NYC! Tucked in a loading bay for a building, the owners prepare delicious Ecuadorian food at unbeatable prices. The food is all prepared same day so the place smells fantastic. They give huge portions, and sometimes they throw in a fresh fried plantain for regulars! Their hot sauce is NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART. If you talk to Tony, the owner, in advance sometimes you can buy a bottle, but it's free when you put it on the food you ordered and also made fresh daily. It's the best deal in midtown. (Owned and operated by a great family who always remember me whenever I come in for lunch. This place is lunch only- come early because they sell out fast!“
“(Translated by Google) The food was very good and the staff too except the short-haired lady. A very despotic attitude, I don't know if she's the owner or what, but they always order with anyone else.(Original)La comida muy buena y el personal también excepto la sra de pelo corto. Una actitud muy despota, nose si es la dueña o que pero siempre ordenen con cualquier otra persona.“
