The backyard and covered patio areas have amazing ambiance. One of the best backyard areas around. For food the pao de quiejo burger is super unique. It's a thicker patty with bread that has the cheesey, crispy feel of a pao de quiejo. Great flavor from the sauce and amazing sweet potato fries to go along with. The picanha also was very satisfying with the assortment of sauces.

Colonia Verde offers a cute environment with very good service and a transporting atmosphere. The front dining room leads to a gorgeous little oasis in the atrium and outdoor patio, which feels like a magical courtyard in Central America. The pork belly appetizer, sausage and vegetable platter, and Esquites—a brilliant mix of charred corn, pepitas, mint, and cotija cheese—are recommended. The duck confetti tacos, red snapper, and perfectly seasoned Shrimp Tacos with the best tortillas are delicious. The ceviche is exceptional, and the steak special and tuna on crisp are bursting with flavor. Cocktails like the Spicy Margarita with Tajin are fresh and satisfying. The rear patio ambiance is delightful for a romantic and cozy dining experience, though it can get loud at times. Desserts like the Little Piece of Brazil—a yuca coconut cake with whipped cream and lime zest—are delicate and unique. While service can be slow, the elevated food and drinks are worth the wait.
