Colonia Verde offers a cute environment with very good service and a transporting atmosphere. The front dining room leads to a gorgeous little oasis in the atrium and outdoor patio, which feels like a magical courtyard in Central America. The pork belly appetizer, sausage and vegetable platter, and Esquites—a brilliant mix of charred corn, pepitas, mint, and cotija cheese—are recommended. The duck confetti tacos, red snapper, and perfectly seasoned Shrimp Tacos with the best tortillas are delicious. The ceviche is exceptional, and the steak special and tuna on crisp are bursting with flavor. Cocktails like the Spicy Margarita with Tajin are fresh and satisfying. The rear patio ambiance is delightful for a romantic and cozy dining experience, though it can get loud at times.
