“Came here on a date night with the wife who is Uruguayan. The provolone was a fantastic starter, reminded me of the one I had during my last visit to Uruguay. In my wife’s 2+ decades in the states I’ve never heard her rant and rave over a chivito the way she did theirs. She said and I quote “this is the best chivito she’s had since being in the USA,” so that should tell you something. I had the Uruguayan Ribeye and I left just the cutting board it came on, nothing was safe. I was hesitant about the Duck fat potatoes because it’s not something I haven’t tried, but they were perfect. The ribeye was to die for, I wanted more. Dessert was just as good too. My wife loved the flan, and I’ll take her word because all flan is bad to me. The Alfajor was so damn good. It was different than the traditional one I’m used to eating, but fantastic nonetheless. We will definitely be returning, and telling everyone we know to travel to Brooklyn to give this place a try.“

“Pablo Santo just catered our daughter's wedding. This food is THE BEST, Most flavorful and perfectly prepared food! The ceviche was tasty without being too tart. The Wild Boar was tender, with a perfectly balanced gravy. All raged over the plantain stew! Personally the rabbit mole was to die for! Perfectly prepared meals, with quick attentive service! “Finally had the opportunity to come to this place. I would like to start off with the service. When we arrived it was packed which we were not surprised. The lady at the front was very friendly. But our server not so much, i get people have off days but we did not feel welcomed. We ordered ceviche, white rice and beans & the chicharron de pollo. As someone that loves ceviche this was not the greatest ceviche i have ever had. The apples and celery threw me off but the reason why it was not great is because the juice had that seafood tate rather than the lime zesty taste. The rice and beans were amazing!! Perfect texture and taste. The chicharron de pollo is the best chicharron i have ever had. My husband and I literally locked eyes on the first bite. It was juicy and had the perfect crunch and taste. “I came to this restaurant for the first time and randomly ordered two dishes. To my surprise, the taste was excellent—really delicious—and I liked it a lot. The prices were reasonable, and the owner was very friendly. I highly recommend everyone try this place.“

“My wife and I came here for dinner tonight, and we had an amazing experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious, the drinks were just as impressive, and the atmosphere had such a great vibe.

I had the Caipirinha, and my wife ordered the Passion Fruit Lychee Martini—both were fantastic and made perfectly.

The highlight of our visit was our bartender, Ricardo. He was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel welcome from the moment we sat down. He took the time to explain the menu, gave great recommendations, and his service really elevated the entire experience.

It’s not often you find a place where the food, drinks, service, and atmosphere all come together this well. We’ll definitely be back, and we’ll be recommending Guarapo Latin Fusion to our friends and family. Thank you, Ricardo, for making our night such a great one!“

“The food gets 5 out of 5. It was simply delicious, and we have nothing but good things to say about it. I had the T-bone steak, while my girlfriend had the filet mignon, and both were truly, truly delicious.

The ambiance gets 2 out of 5. It simply wasn't our cup of tea. The restaurant was dimly lit with neon lights, which, in our opinion, didn't pair particularly well with the atmosphere we would expect from a a place where the food should be the main attraction. Also, the music was very loud and we had to ask for it to be lowered.

As for the service, our waitress gets 1.5 out of 5. She was friendly, but we felt that she was quite unprofessional, both in the way she was dressed and in her overall behavior and level of service. She brought us our food but never checked on us afterward, and we actually had to get our own steak knife. There was also what appeared to be a friend of hers, or possibly another staff member, sitting two tables away from us. They spent much of the time chatting, and honestly, it gave us the impression that they were doing us a favor by serving us rather than making us feel welcome as customers.

The bar was also an issue. The phone kept ringing with an extremely loud ringtone, which was quite disruptive. Later, when we wanted dessert, we decided to have coffee instead. We ordered two cappuccinos, and our waitress simply smiled and said no, without giving us any explanation as to why. This was particularly confusing because there was a large coffee machine right inside the restaurant.

Overall, the food was superb, and it's really the main reason we would consider coming back. Unfortunately, the service was lacking, and that's what is making us hesitate about returning. It's a shame, because the quality of the food was excellent, but the overall experience left us somewhat disappointed.“

The food was good; the tostones appetizers could use more seasoning, tasted bland. great portions, had to take rest of meal home. The staff displayed good customer service. Overall, a very nice find for Latin cuisine in downtown Brooklyn.“

“It’s my first comment in Google Map, for the restaurant which you would never regret to take a try. The price is so much affordable, I ordered 2 meat sides and fried rice with pork in a bowl only for 11$.btw the lady at the front desk is so friendly.

Has such an authentic and home cooked taste to it, could not recommend enough especially with the weather.

“I walked in; they greeted me. They were so nice, clean, and polite; they don't have a bathroom for the public. They had a lunch special that was so worth it; the salt intake is ok, delicious. I believe 6.99 gtray deal; trust me, you won't miss out. I got black beans, yellow rice, and chicken. They have seating for everyone, and in the back is a special surprise. Boy, I can't wait to go back. I don't know the prices on the special but you can sit anywhere in the restaurant and enjoy your meal. “It is an excellent place, good food, good prices, the staff is friendly and serves quickly, the place is clean, safe to eat and hang out. I recommend it. It seems like a good place. I have eaten there for years and it has always been a restaurant that I like to return to.

Vegetarian options: It is not a restaurant focused on vegetarian food but they sell salads, juices and a person who does not eat meat can still enjoy a good meal.

Kid-friendliness: It is a clean, quiet place, the staff is friendly and polite and the restaurant in my opinion does not represent any risk for a minor.

Wheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp so that a person in a wheelchair or other device that supports walking has the accessibility of being able to enter the premises without major difficulties.“
