“We ate "outside" in an enclosed and heated structure. Absolutely delightful. Sorry to hear they're being dismantled.
The food was a delight and service was friendly and just the right level of attentiveness. The menu is great for sharing. You can't go wrong.“

“Maison Premiere provides outstanding service and features a thoughtfully curated, albeit limited, menu. The wine selection, though not entirely to my liking, pairs beautifully with the seafood dishes. The ambiance is exceptional, and the staff delivers prompt and attentive service. However, despite her warm and welcoming demeanor, the hostess appeared to struggle in distinguishing between patrons seeking a full dining experience and those dropping by for a quick drink.“

“The service is so good here at every level and the bar selection and cocktail menu had some fantastic choices! Any place that has Vin Santo is already good in my book - then add not one but FIVE house-made 'cellos (lemon, lime, orange, orange cream, and grapefruit as far as I can remember) and I'm home. Very much looking forward to the Fall cocktail menu!
The new dinner menu has a lot more to offer to the vegetarians among us which grabbed my interest after admittedly kind of writing it off when Gus's originally opened. The sungold and corn rigatoni and special duchess potatoes have me excited for the future veg offerings!
Vegetarian options: There were at least two vegetarian pastas and multiple vegetarian starters and sides to choose from“

“Ilis was highly recommended to us by a friend who is a chef, after we asked about suggestions on restaurants in New York that truly push boundaries. It did not disappoint. While we are quite familiar with the concept of radical local sourcing and seasonal cooking organised by colder and warmer days, (yes, days not months), Ilis still managed to surprise us. We opted for the market menu, which is tailored to the ingredients available on that very day, and were treated to an additional dish. Each course was impeccably well prepared and presented effortlessly, and fun! The natural taste of the ingredients was allowed to shine, offering the rare opportunity to unspoil your palate and rediscover how herbs, vegetables, and meat/fish taste on their own, when not suffocated in fat, sugar, and spices. This, we believe, is the key to the success of Ilis and its chef Mads Refslund: being able to keep the dishes almost naked while never loosing the culinary direction. An absolute standout was the extra dish: raw tuna scraped from the dorsal fin spine, followed by the other side grilled with sesame. It was nothing short of a feast! Another memorable feature is Ilis' book of ingredients, which you can browse through between courses. It offers insight into their sourcing, philosophy, food preferences, and quirks (giggle). Lastly, the open kitchen is from another orbit, with its wood-fired charcoal oven, open barbecues, and dedicated adjacent fish and meat smoking stations. We could rave on and on about it. Very special place, which easily deserves six stars.“

“Cannot recommend Zaab Zaab enough. The food is so delicious and authentically Thai. Extremely fresh and varied flavors. The servers were super helpful with the menu, recommending some amazing dishes! Also whatever that lime gimlet is, it was fantastic. This will be my new go to Thai spot. Also great for groups with several large tables!“

“Excellent food. I usually don’t trust fusion food but they do it right. Authenticity in Korean flavors with western interpretations.
Can’t speak so much for drinks since I don’t drink, but vibes are great, food is amazing - also love how there is a specific sequence to the food. It’s very carefully curated.“

“Had the fingerling potatoes and breakfast burrito. Burrito had a lot of flavor but but a little sloppy near the end. It’s tough getting that moisture out when doing breakfast burritos but those that do, it’s much better and not as messy. The rosemary fingerling potatoes were absolutely amazing. Would get those every time I come here.
For a drink I had a Le mone spritz. I think it’s ok. Not as citrus forward as I would have hoped so might as well go with a normal spritz while here.“

“Service was outstanding. Oysters🦪 were fresh, some of the best I've had in the world. Lobster tail 🦞 was dry and difficult to eat. The sauce was tasty but the meat was mediocre. Draft selection was great. Will be back for the friendly service.“

“If you're looking for an authentic Brooklyn clam bar experience, look no further than Randazzo's! Their menu is huge and very specific, you can order cherry stones or little necks raw, baked, or steamed. All your favorite crustaceans and bivalves are available, from steamers and oysters to shrimp and lobster. We had the aforementioned raw clams, soft shell crab sandwich, broiled scallops, and fra diavolo. The fra diavolo sauce was to die for and the broiled scallops were big and flavorful. Definitely recommend for a feast down in Sheepshead Bay!“

“Chill local spot worth going to even if you're not a local. The burger.... the burger, oh, and the burger. Did I mention the burger? Anyway, we had a bunch of other menu items, and everything is really, really good. We eat out a lot, and Swoonys definitely deserves a spot way up the list of places we really like a lot. Already well on our way to becoming regulars.“

“Fantastic setup and atmosphere, a little loud from other tables due to the acoustics of the place.. but it’s worth it because of the looks for sure! Food was ALIVE, fresh and rich in flavour and many little plates of different options that are served with the main dish. If you’re in Brooklyn, do your self a favour. שלום, peace.“

“Em is a hidden gem tucked beneath the bridge! I can’t stress enough how flavorful and unique the dishes are - bringing light to Viet dishes less known over in the states.
Would definitely recommend making a reservation as the restaurant is quite busy most evenings.
I had a few dishes (in the photos) and my favorite appetizer was the Silken Tofu. The shaking beef entree is delicious and so tender.
Can’t wait to come back!“

“My older family members came to NY to visit from Chicago. I went to order 5 Dinner plates for the family that were visiting and 3 more, for myself, partner and my mom. When I return wit food, we all began to eat. NONE OF US WAS SATISFIED! POTATO SALAD WAS PRETTY OK. THE MAC N CHEESE, HORRIBLE! THE MACARONI SALAD, WATERY AND DISGUSTING AF, NO TUNA ADDED. COLLARD GREENS , NOT SEASONED LIKE REAL BLK SOUL TASTE.. NASTY! UNLESS PPL ARE USE TO EATING BLAND AND OR NOT REAL BLACK PPL COOKING.“

“Great drinks, service, very nice vibe & every plate we had was delicious! Didn’t love the wine but I might just be too picky in that department (though I think a bit more variety considering it’s Italian food would have been better). Otherwise, 10/10“

“Quite expensive but decent food. Service is wonderful!! Our waiters were friendly, attentive, and makes you feel welcome right away. Unfortunately, the food didn't quite measure up.
The mushroom pasta is tasty but too oily, making it feel heavy. The focaccia and lamb chops are good and well-cooked, but they’re not impressive enough to justify the high prices. The fries and cheese balls? Not worth it and better skipped.
Overall, the food is decent but overpriced. The excellent service makes a visit worthwhile, but I don't think I'd go back often.“

“Lobster roll was buttered and toasted to perfection with a soft warm and chewy bun. The tuna burger was a spin on the smash burger, very interesting. The service was fantastic, the restaurant felt like it was staffed by a well functioning team who genuinely looked like they wanted to be there - which is increasingly hard to find in the NYC dining scene. I really enjoyed my experience.“

“What happens when really great Mexican and Venezuelan seafood come together? El Rey de Pescado, culinary bliss! Such a great penultimate 2022 dinner tonight. So good that we devoured everything before any pics were taken, except for the warm, chocolate filled empanadas and strawberry ice cream dessert. Cocktails were perfection. And live Jazz! Go in 2023! We'll be. Feliz Año Nuevo everyone, be safe.?“

“Love the space! It's really inviting and our server gave a very thorough explanation of the menu. It's very easy to over order because you want to try everything, but there were hits and misses.
The Barbecue Shrimp were definitely a trip down taste memory lane. I worked at an upper westside restaurant in the 80s called Memphis that rode the Paul Prudhomme craze and it was one of our most popular dishes. These didn't disappoint. The Oysters Rockerfeller were very good too.
All of the seafood was perfectly cooked.
The big salad was way too acidic with nothing to balance the overpowering vinegar of the giardiniera. We got fried oysters on top and they were nice but there was no sauce that went with them which made them a little ho hum.
I wanted to love the shrimp sandwich because it looks absolutely DELISH -- the presentation is spot on!
The fried shrimp were nice and crispy and the milk bread was nice and light. Maybe if I hadn't already found the giardiniera too much on the salad? It's good, but could use some remoulade or another aioli to balance it.
My BF had the gumbo special. He liked it, but I thought it was a bit one note too.
The complimentary bread pudding is a nice touch.“

“Omg the FOOD WAS SO DELICIOUS ?
The plate was big, I couldn't finish my food, took home. Each plate came with bread, which was great. Another discovery for me, the tea? fist time tried tea with spice, and it was so good. My honest recommendation. Go and support your local business.“

“1st I want to say the service is great. Staff was very attentive and friendly. The ambiance was good. Aesthetics are very pleasing. Music was great. For appetizers, we ordered the crab deviled eggs and the Maryland crab cake. Both were 10/10. Now for these entrees. We ordered the chicken and shrimp on a cornbread waffle and the catfish and grits. That waffle was everythingggg. The meal was so good. Now them grits was THE BEST GRITS IVE EVER HAD!! 10/10. I will definitely be coming back!“

The drinks were nice I had Henny colada I sample the blue drink sorry forgot the name but that was delicious. I'm wondering did the chef/ owner change. I won't give up on you guys you are a neighborhood fixture I'll support again hoping for a better outcome. My hubby loves the lobster rolls missing the coleslaw.“

“We came here for a family dinner and everything was super delicious! Our servers were super attentive and all the food came out super quickly. The serving sizes are also relatively big and we ended up having leftovers even with a part of 5. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for a delicious and luxurious feeling dinner spot! The actual interior of the restaurant was super beautiful and modern and the high ceilings gave it a very open concept type of feel. We also ended the meal with a red bean tong sui which was the perfect dessert to tie everything together! Will definitely be coming back here!“

“The food served at Tonchin Brooklyn is excellent and I appreciate the attention to detail from the food on the table to the atmosphere of the restaurant.
We got:
•smoked dashi ramen (phenomenally well-crafted broth, tobiko topping was fun, smoked fish oil was such a nice touch), appreciate the detail of nori sheet not submerged in the broth so it won't get soggy)
•+ original dashi salad (holy smokes the dressing and the flavors were really really tasty, I would definitely get this again)
•pizza ramen (was looking forward to trying this the most and it did not disappoint, savory notes, crispy guanciale was a nice touch)
Service was pleasant - they were attentive to refilling our water glasses. I was the first customer to use one of the restroom stalls and they even folded the toilet paper roll.
I would love to come back again and highly recommend anyone to try out the menu items I mentioned! The pizza ramen is a sleeper hit - give it a try!!“

“Delicious happy hour at Peaches Prime in Brooklyn, NY.
• HH Prime Thyme $9 (4.5/5)
• HH Sangria $9 (4/5)
• HH Wings $12 (4/5)
• HH Rockefeller $12 (5/5)
• HH Calamari $12 (3.5/5)
• Branzino $32 (4.5/5)
• Oxtail Fettuccine $26 (4.5/5)
Next visit I'd get the Fried Rockefeller, Prime Thyme & the Branzino leaving room to try out the dessert menu.
We booked a 5 pm reservation Tuesday morning to try out their happy hour before heading to a game at Barclays Center. Our server, Jen, was very personable & answered all our questions surrounding the menu. The oxtail fettuccine had mixed online reviews however, Jen shared it was her favorite so we decided to try it & we loved it. The sauce on the Branzino was phenomenal & it was our 2nd favorite dish of the night, after the Fried Rockefeller.“

“The sea food boils always hit! But what sets this place apart is that they have great service. My last two experiences there were consistently good. The wait staff is kind and attentive even though they are super busy. Just be sure to clarify when ordering what the tipping is like. I believe gratuity is added once you pay for a certain amount. The happy hour is perf after work thumbs ???

“What an amazing dinner we were participating in. It started with a flower that exploded our taste buds through all the variety of sea creatures and sea plants prepared various ways to a light but scrumptious bread pudding and ice cream made with 3 waters. All the dishes were presented like works of art accompanied in artistic dishes. It was most definitely a wild to table experience. Highly recommend. (only allowed 10 photos. There was a total 13 servings of food and 2 drinks)“
