Deliciousness! I’m going to stop there as soon as I arrive into nyc on my next visit 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Excellent example of Cajun/Creole cuisine. Highly recommended.
Everything here is good. The cocktails are just right. The oysters are so fresh. The Po-Boys have flaky fried fish and crunchy bread. The gumbo is pleasantly spicy. If this were in my neighborhood, I would eat here every week.

Lowerline is a restaurant with a real New Orleans vibe that goes beyond the menu. It offers the best Creole food in NYC, bringing back a taste of home. The food is amazing all around, with the creole okra gumbo, shrimp po boy, and crawfish étouffée being delicious and deeply flavorful. The fried oysters are juicy, moist, crispy, and hot. The BBQ shrimp is incredible, and the beef po'boy is a hidden gem. There is also a good variety of east coast oysters, which are delicious. The restaurant is a petite and intimate space with a cozy, no nonsense ambiance. Portions are a bit small for the price, but the flavor is spot on. The owner and crew are absolutely great, welcoming, and friendly. There is a complimentary dessert that comes with the tab, which is a nice touch. The restaurant can fill up after 6, so making a reservation is recommended.
