The wings are very good and the pastas rich and creamy. The curry goat is savory while the oxtail is more on the sweet side. The food and drinks were good overall and I would go back. “The food was great I went during food week. I had the salmon with garlic mash and broccoli. The meal also came with dessert and an appetizer. You can add a glass of wine for 5 dollars. For the appetizer I had the birria empanada my cousin had the island shrimp I believed it was called. The shrimp👍🏾👍, I wasn't crazy about the empanada. I would definitely revisit this place. “Best roti I have ever had. This was one of my favorite food spots when I lived in flatbush. I always got the same thing. I am so sad that I moved two states away. Whenever I go back to Brooklyn I always stop by de hot pot and get some stock for my freezer 😋😋“

We were given no help only told us to put the table back after we moved them together ourselves to seat us. Luckily we dine in because we was missing a full order of Rasta pasta. It's been about a couple of years since I've been to the restaurant( about 5 years ) or more the deserts were tasty, only one thing I wish were the same the size of the currants roll, they are cutting them very small and selling them cheaper than any other bakery I know. Next time I go back to Brooklyn I will make sure I have more cash to buy food and pastries. They don't take CARD of any kind, only CASH, CASH, CASH.“

“Reliable local pub! PJs on the Bay has tasty comfort food — the burger was juicy and well-seasoned, wings had great sauce, and the fish & chips were crispy. Service is friendly and quick, atmosphere is casual and welcoming (good spot to catch a game or unwind). Portions are generous, prices fair. Minor thing: can get loud on busy nights, but that's the pub charm. 4.5 stars — solid Sheepshead Bay hangout!

“I walked in on a Saturday around 12pmto get oxtail and their customer service was amazing. I got oxtail, rice &peas with oxtail patty. They were both really good, the patty was very flaky and sweet. I sat to eat and the oxtail was really good , they used a balsamic rice and I loved every bite.

“Based on the name A&A Bake Doubles and Roti I figured I had to order some doubles so I got a veggie one for $3. They asked me a bunch of simple questions about what I wanted on it and I panicked and somehow got it with pumpkin which I hate. The doubles are pretty messy to eat so luckily they give you substantial napkins instead of those single ply deli ones. I also got an aloo pie for $2.50 which I've never had before and seems to be a donut with potato filling (an excellent invention for those of us who don't like sweet breakfast).“

“I go here often for lunch. Plenty of variety, and fairly quick service. I always get the ribs from Tejas + kids mac n cheese. Everything else was good too, but the Thai food here is lacking (they used italian pasta for the pad see eew (not rice noodles) and pasta was very al dente both times i tried here). Havent seen if they improved for that restaurant yet but I always come back for Tejas!“

“This is THE spot. Jerk chicken is some of the best I've ever had. There's a good char that's smokey and flavorful without any bitterness. The spice is a warm heat with the right amount of sweet. Rice and peas cooked incredibly well, not dry at all. And the cabbage is perfectly tender not mushy. There patties are low-key solid. Curry Chicken is a bit better than the beef in my opinion opinion. But the crust on all is flakey and the filling is flavorful with good spice.

The food is consistently delicious and made to order — no food sitting out on a heater waiting for someone to order. I’ve had the jerk shrimp, curry shrimp roti, jerk salmon, and other items and the food is always fresh, tasty, and plentiful. They sell juices and cake which are also amazing. I’ve been going here once a week since the pandemic started and I’m always so excited to get my food. The owner is amazing and is dedicated to always providing five star service and food.“

It was truly the best experience I've had at a restaurant in a very very long time and it was thanks to our waiter Jesus. He was very attentive and helpful. He saw that we had small children and helped us with their order first and then proceeded to take the rest of our orders. He really loved his job and was very warm and kind. “Sugardbk is such a gem in Flatbush. The vibe was perfect great music, nice atmosphere, and definitely a good spot for date night or even private events. We started with the sweet chili shrimp, wings, and crab cake and everything was flavorful and fresh. Had an amazing experience at Bird Pepper in Brooklyn. First off, the food was amazing — it absolutely slapped! Every dish we had was flavorful, fresh, and just hit the spot.

A big shoutout to our waiter Gabriel, who made the whole experience even better. His service was quick and attentive the entire time. He checked in regularly without hovering and made sure we had everything we needed. On top of that, he knew the menu like the back of his hand and gave great recommendations that did not disappoint.
