“Thank you is the least I can say to Tropical Isles to show my appreciation for all you’ve done for my daughter’s wedding. I’ve had 450 happy people who couldn’t stop talking about how great the food was, I must say I’m very happy to choose Tropical Isles to catered my wedding, from the 7 curry to the delicious sweets, one family member who describe it as a slam dunk, grand slam. I was very impressed with all the food prepared and served at the wedding venue in New Jersey, tropical isle went above and beyond to take the stress away from us and give us the time to celebrate our wedding with our guests. I will most definitely recommend tropical isle for any event big or small.“

“I hate to leave this but I feel I must. Stopped in on a Sunday, not too crowded but still a wait. I ordered fried rice for the first time and it was riddled with bacteria. IYKYK. So of course I threw out the meat it was packaged with. So disappointed 😞“

I usually go there for chicken fried rice! Which amazing! Currently has become my favorite spot to get that order specially! From the van wyck to woodhaven cross rockaway Blvd back to Jamaica Avenue best chicken fried I would say !!!
However the atmosphere has to add some more modern technology lights etc !! And signs,it would be very bright lively“

“The first time I ordered, I chose the chicken fried rice and was amazed because it tasted like the Guyanese-Chinese food I used to eat 20 years ago from Liberty Ave. The second time I visited was on May 9, 2026 and decided to try the roast duck, chicken liver and gizzard and Rice Bowl house special fried rice; I was blown away! Excellent and tasty food in my opinion! Their house special fried is better than New Thriving’s and Kaieteur’s! Give them a try!“

“My family and I have been ordering from Good Hope for years. It is hands down the best place to get wings on (at least) Liberty Ave. But our favorite dish is the pepper chicken fried rice. But today we decided to switch it up a little and get the pepper lamb fried rice with broccoli in garlic sauce. It did not miss! It was so good. Everything was hot and fresh, especially for a busy Friday evening. They said 45 mins to an hour wait for delivery, but they were here in less than 30 mins. In all the years I've been ordering from them, they have never messed up my order. Apart from the rare occasion (the food might taste a little stale or bland but never inedible) the food always tastes amazing. I will definitely continue to be ordering from here for a long time.“
