The first time I ordered, I chose the chicken fried rice and was amazed because it tasted like the Guyanese-Chinese food I used to eat 20 years ago from Liberty Ave. The second time I visited was on May 9, 2026 and decided to try the roast duck, chicken liver and gizzard and Rice Bowl house special fried rice; I was blown away! Excellent and tasty food in my opinion! Their house special fried is better than New Thriving’s and Kaieteur’s! Give them a try!

Food never taste fresh always old , the rice is always hard and chicken don’t be good they use to be good but now it’s horrible

Servers have been slow to attend to tables, and some have even given off a negative vibe. Despite being busy, the service should be more attentive. However, the food has consistently been a highlight, making it worth a visit. With some improvement in customer service, GT Rice Bowl could become a top choice in the area.
