“This place has been on my list of vegan restaurants to try for months!!!! I already knew their food was gonna be flavorful and tasty and when I finally tried it, it definitely exceeded those expectations. For take out, I ordered the rice ball. The rice ball alone was sooo delicious!!!! Such a nice appetizer to get your appetite going for more! In addition, I ordered the jerk tamarind oyster mushroom burger. Listen, that burger?! IS DELICIOUS! They use a soft pretzel burger bun. The oyster mushroom is fried and then dipped into the jerk/tamarind sauce. I had the pleasure to meet with the owner. Such a beautiful and patient young lady. I had a few questions about certain items on the menu and she was patient enough to explain all the details. After my first and successful experience at the restaurant, I knew that I was coming back for more!

On my second visit, I ordered the buss up shut roti and swapped the curry chik’n with jerk oyster mushrooms instead. Let me tell you, everything about that meal was a 10/10. The roti was soft, easy to pull apart and tasty. It only comes will one roti, but I wish it came with an additional one because I had food leftover that could’ve been utilized with the roti. The delectables that came with the roti were all flavorful, tasty and made an enjoyable pair with the roti. All of the food that I ordered from HAAM to-go was a 10/10. I can imagine what the experience is like when dining within.

“Been coming to Melting Pot for years. The food is always solid and consistent. I haven’t tried anything from here that I don’t like. Jerk chicken and oxtail is always fresh and flavorful. They make a fresh pineapple ginger juice that’s amazing. Everyone I’ve brought here always enjoy the food.“

“I live in GA so when I go to NY I always go to Singh’s to buy Roti Skins to take back home. This past week when I visited I tried the Jerk Chicken which was well seasoned with the jerk seasoning but too salty for me. If there was less salt I would have enjoyed it more. Gave the rest to my niece.“

“I came here with my family who is visiting from another country. The woman behind the counter was so kind and hospitable and attentive to us made us feel right at home. She made this experience absolutely magical. This is another level, nothing I expected, but everything I needed.

P.S some of their drinks are homemade, including the peanut drink and the hibiscus drink which we had. Those were exceptional. We are fans of hibiscus drinks, and these were the best we ever had.“

A real old school simple place…her brother was a gentlemen and so friendly , and the counter man Joe. I had jerk chicken, rice and peas, plantains. Simply amazing. ?“

“I went there on several sessions after work. The waitress who served us was super nice and friendly. The drinks were so good. She had me try the pineapple ginger drink! Yummy. My date enjoyed the food and drinks. Will definitely return. Older respectable crowd. Nice ambiance. The music wasn’t too loud either. You can dance or just chill. Btw there’s parking on the streets nearby.“

I did find the seasoning/flavors to be good, but not awesome. And do check out the variety of mixed drinks available! All in all a great group visit, and I would definitely visit again!“
