“This is a super tasty food place, it makes me feel back in the days somewhere in Oaxaca. Dishes are very spicy, I love that but just letting you know, service was great, the place I would say it’s not like to hangout for too long but I feel it’s part of the concept.“
“I was eying this place ever since moving into the neighborhood and I finally visited when family came into town. The place held up to my expectations I can see why it is always busy. The staff is friendly, we did not wait for a table, and everything was served in good time. For food we did steak, salmon, lemon potatoes, and calamari, everything was so so good and the portions were big. I will definitely be coming back“
“Went here last weekend to have lunch with our daughter who goes to St. Johns. Parked right on the corner (Metered ) no parking lot for those wanting to know. Mostly college crowd. Service was quick and good. Photos from others are the same as ours so i won't post. We would definitely go back again.“
“The dishes at Thirty-Seven Lane are very rich and varied, and the vegetables are very fresh. The beef is recommended to be hand-cut beef. It tastes great. The crabs are still alive and delicious. The waiter Xiaokai is great. My friends and I are very happy to have the meal. Thank you San Lane 17“
“Cap't Lou is my favorite neighborhood restaurant. Great food, crowd and ambiance. The owner, Raymond is such a humble and generous host with a welcoming smile. If you haven't tried the food, I highly recommend doing so...you'd love it!! ?“
“Highly recommend this place. Good food and drink selection. Must try their pork belly and rose tteokboki. Also, they have a variety selection of Korean traditional, high quality, craft drinks. Cozy atmosphere allows you to have an intimate date night or great time for friends gathering. Definitely will come back here and the service was very excellent.“
“I went last weekend with my mom. Between us, we had the grilled pita with hummus and tzatziki, fried calamari, moussaka, and a kebab gyro.Their calamari are huge. I thought maybe as a result they would be rubbery but they were great. What stood out was the service. At one point, the waiter comes over to fill out glasses back up with water (which he did diligently throughout our meal) and my mom had literally had one sip and he still went out of his way to refill her glass. The atmosphere was real nice. We will be back.“
“We went late night and really liked the food, beef, lamb, squid skewers were all very flavorful but not overly spicy. Draft beer was very good. It took a while to get out ramen stir fry, but it was pretty tasty! The lamb skewers are pretty big, so don't order too many at first “
“Adrienne's NYC is a culinary gem nestled in Broad Channel, Queens. It never fails to dazzle with food and gorgeous views of the water! The ambiance, decor, and service makes the experience unforgettable. I have had the pleasure of attending both dinners and events at Adrienne's Restaurant and it's consistently EXCELLENT EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.The menu is unique with melt in your mouth choices. One favorite: Bolognese with a rich sauce that transports you to Italy. And, save room for dessert because Colleen's cheesecake is legendary! The owners are on site and active in service. This is a true oasis so make reservations for a special occasion or an extraordinary meal; you will be satisfied from start to finish!“
“The hospitality here was amazing and the food was cooked quickly and very well. You choose your seafood, pay and get a table. They’ll bring the items, and you tell them how you want everything cooked. We brought our own wine and were offered a bucket of ice to put it in, and they always checked our table to clear empty plates or see if we needed anything else. You can pay with card but I’d suggest bringing cash for tip.“
“The best Thai food in NYC, and I’m NOT JOKING! Service is amazing, provided by servers who are upbeat and willing to make a conversation and advise. Food is ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. Please do yourself a favor and order fish and som tum Thai! It is the best salad you’ll have, spicy and crispy ♥️?? p.s. Thai tea is an absolute DREAM ✨“
“This Place is great! Food is delicious and tasty. We got the Beef Pares and the Beef Mami. The beef pares is really tender! And bone marrow that comes with it is also delish. Garlic fried rice is amazing. My suggestion that would make this Beef Pares perfect, is adding some kind of vegetable, on the side, to help cut through the savoriness of Beef. Perhaps some Garlic steamed bokchoy, or some atchara, or even just some tomato cucumber salad. Also, maybe giving the option for just plain steamed white rice would be great too, since the sauce of the Beef Pares is so delicious and you would want to pour it all over some plain white rice.Beef Mami- perhaps some crunchy chicharon toppings on top for extra oomph!service- greeting your customers as they walk in, would be great. Since there isn't a sign that say "seat yourselves" at the door. The setup of the restaurant and the vibe of the place definitely is for a "wait to be seated" kind of dining. A Simple Phrase such as "welcome, for how many people?" would not hurt. Acknowledge the presence of customers coming in; otherwise, they will be clueless and would feel unwelcome.Iskrambol- love it! I was really excited to see it on the menu!“
“This place has great food. The service was awesome, too. Parking can be difficult to find, however. What makes this place stand out is the waterfront views you get. The food items we ordered to try here were the spinach and artichoke dip, fried chicken sandwich, and a grilled chicken wrap. Everything was excellent. The dip had great flavor. My favorite of these 3 items was the fried chicken sandwich. Loved how it was prepared. But everything we tasted we would recommend. We had a fun time hanging out here.“
“Had the green chili pepper fish and braise beef noodles. The fish dish has a good variety of ingredients included inside like tofu, mushroom and some veg, not sure if opting for sea bass was a good choice for us but the soup was tasty! Although it's slightly pricey, it's a huge serving. So value is good! The waiter is also attentive and helpful.Kid-friendliness: High chair and kids cutlery“
“I thought dim sum palace was the king of all dim sum, but I was wrong. Asian Jewels is my new to go to dim sum. Clean, noisy and damn good fresh dim sum. Get there earlier or you will be waiting for a while to get a seat and driving might be a nightmare in the afternoon since it is in flushing Queens. Again, this is only for dim sum review, I don’t know about lunch or dinner but if it is as good as their dim sum, I don’t think you can go wrong. Price is a bit higher for plate of dim sum but this is nyc, what did you expected?“
“The Szechuan cuisine scene in Flushing is unparalleled! The "Water-boiled Beef" is incredibly tender and flavorful, while the "Crispy Eel Shreds" offer a delightful crunch and aroma, perfect for pairing with wine. Their "Sweet and Sour Spare Ribs" and "Pea Shoots" are excellent choices for rice accompaniments. Plus, the servers, affectionately referred to as "rice bowl wizards," provide excellent service and make you feel right at home. Can't wait to return for another round of culinary delight! ??“
“Had a gathering today w approx 30 family and friends, the food from start to finish was beyond SUPERB, they truly deserve Zagat rating. The fried calamari was better than Greece stated by my sister in law who was there in September, antipasto, appetizers, fish, chicken kabob on skewers were tremendous we couldn't get enough we were licking our fingers. I personally would rate them at 10, the owner Jenny is a gem. Will be back to try their grilled Octopus.Parking: Private parking lot in back of building, not a long walk if you know how to park at least 20 cars.“
“Love it here! My husband and I have been twice since discovering it a month ago. The food is really good. We’ve tried the curry goat, curry chicken, jerk chicken, and stew chicken so far. My favorite dish has to be the jerk chicken plantain cups. We also tried the culture clash and the rum punch which were both great drinks. The owner (Mo) is awesome, he’s such a friendly guy and we were engaged in conversation with him the whole time we were there on our first visit. He has great experiences to share if you have the time.“
“4.5 overall. A decent sized place with a bar (no liquor license yet, but they're trying for it! BYOB until then) and games to play. Lots of metered street parking. There were 8 of us (a couple of us carpooled) and we did not have trouble finding parking. Since there were 8 of us, we were able to try almost all their dishes! The bathroom is large and beautifully decorated florally. Mimi (the co-owner with Chef Shane) was informative and attentive. She helped us decide portion sizing and answered any questions we had. The water comes infused with citrus, adding a refreshing taste. We all opted to get other drinks as well. I opted for the Calico Calpico. It was balanced with the sweetness of the calpico and salted rim. Did not taste much of the oolong tea, though that is a lighter flavor. Must gets: The Golden Crab Bao was loaded with tender snow crab stuffed into a crispy bun. The creme fraiche and yuzu tobiko add a lovely balance. The Roasted Bone Marrow came with soft toast. Gotta eat it quick while it's still hot! The marrow was delicious and went well with the toasty but soft bread. There is a little bit of meat still on the bone for those who enjoy gnawing on bone! The Fresno Gouda Cornbread had a nice kick from the jalapeno. Perfectly crispy outside and soft inside. The Chicken and Mochi Waffle is a great twist on a classic dish. The salty and sweet soy garlic maple syrup went well with the crispy chicken and toasty squishy mochi waffle bites. I love how shareable this dish since it's bite sized! The Rice Noodle Rolls were flavorful, soft and chewy. Just wish I wasn't so full by the time this came out. I would have eaten much more! If you love...then get: The Endives Salad is a little strong with the vinaigrette. It does help balance the bitterness of the endive, but only get if you love endives. The Stir-Fry Peashoots was a big portion! It stayed pipping hot and was flavorful. I love pea shoot and this is a great version. The Mala Tots have a strong tingly kick, which can be cooled down with the delicious dip. I just wish there was more dip! The Charcoal-Seared Scallops is buttery deliciousness. It was seared perfectly. The pickles helped balance the richness. The Pork Ribs were fall off the bone tender and had a good little kick from the gochujang. The melted mozzarella went well with the spice. The sweet potatoes are on the side. Can skip: The Milk Bread is a bit small in size. Wish they were bigger so I could really taste the fluffiness. The honey butter is a tasty addition though. The Salmon Seaweed Crisp is a decent portion size. Fresh seafood atop a crisp with the wasabi crema hidden beneath (which I couldn't really taste). The BLT Fried Rice was loaded with bacon and tobiko. It felt more like a sticky rice than fried rice, but that is probably from the baconnaise and soy-cured yolk. Not a texture I am expecting with fried rice. The Pork Belly Wrap had cripsy pork, a few pieces of lettuce (we requested more), a tasty peri-peri dip, and pork rinds that was break your teeth hard. Besides not being able to eat the pork rinds at all, the dish was forgettable. Desserts were hard to judge since we were so full and only had a bite: The Asian Pear Sorbet was chilled and sweet. Nicely presented. The Persimmon Cake Roll wasn't too sweet. Not memorable though. The Milk Tea Pudding was super sweet, but did have a strong bergamot flavor. It was a looser consistency than expected. Wet wipe given at the end, which is great for those who opt for their boil or burger (neither of which we ordered, but would be interested in trying!)“
“Went here on a whim when our original plans fell through and we had an amazing experience. The food was all so good everything from the salad and pita to the bbq fish and taojine. Definitely felt more local. Not packed but a good amount of people. A bit pricy but that's seafood for you. Will definitely be going back.“
“I was visiting the Flushing area for a concert and wanted to visit something near the Airbnb. This is a wonderful location which is very authentic within the area. I kept it simple and ordered fried rice, and there was so much food. I had leftovers which stretched two more meals. The inside environment is casual and simple. The service is phenomenal. Easy access and a wonderful experience.“
“We have had dinner at this restaurant several times. The environment is very tasteful, the service is very good, and the various dishes are very exquisite in workmanship. We highly recommend this place and will stay here again if we come back to New York.“
“My absolute favorite Greek restaurant! They have several locations, but I like the one in Bayside the best because I find it's not as crowded as the other ones. The parking here can be a little tough but there is a municipal parking lot about 3 short blocks away and you can also take public transportation there, it is about a block away from the Bayside Long Island Railroad station. Try their steak its my favorite, but I also recommend the octopus, and their fish is always fresh and delicious, but you really can't go wrong with anything you get here. This place is always super clean, the service is always great and they pour a great drink. Now, this is an edited review from my original because i just had to mention Arif, who is the general manager. When you meet Arif you will understand why this place is so great. The guy makes you feel like family and makes sure you have a top-notch experience. Well done, Arif. What else can you ask for! My advice to you is stop reading this review and get your a** over there! Enjoy!!Parking: There is a municipal parking lot about 3 blocks away“
“In my opinion the best Indian food in the Kew Gardens area. The chicken vindaloo and garlic naan where great. My wife and I also tried the lamb biryani, which was to die for. The owner is friendly and my made our afternoon even better with his excellent and personal service.“
“My first impression of this Hot Space restaurant is their staff is very friendly and willing to answer your questions. For a first time visitor, that's definitely helpful. When we ordered the food, the waitress patiently explained what are the menu and what are the dishes they are known for. She even suggested the spiciness, and warned us the extra ingredients might ruined the perfect flavor. The restaurant prepared the food in the kitchen to maybe 95% done, and then sent the grilled fish in a tray on a stove to our table. The server told us to wait a few minutes for the flavor to fully sink in.We got the strip bass with the golden combination. The fish was grilled just right. The skin was crispy and easily separated from the meat. The meat was at an excellent tenderness. Under the fish were the golden combination ingredients we ordered. They added ample spices to create the flavor and sauce to dip the fish into. After the meal, we overheard that the restaurant doesn't do takeout. I think they want their diners to enjoy their dishes at the best quality. Takeout orders simply can't do justice.“
“This place is the spot for a perfect date night or chilling with a small group of friends. The drinks are popping and the food is really good.We order the happy hour oysters (great choice) the home made bread ( nice and warm came with 4 pieces) the slow baked salmon and the lobster roll. Everything was perfect. Definitely would come back.We paid for parking across the street and they have once bathroom (I noticed people getting up and having to wait for the one bathroom)“
“We usually visit the location in NJ but while visiting the family, we tried this location. Service was good as well as food. Small issue ordering broccolirob and got broccoli. Shrimp soup was a bit bland. However, steak, pasta and avacado salad were delicious as always.“
“Simply the best place I’ve ever been. The price is RIGHT. The quality is great. It’s a creative, collaborative, and tasty food experience and Spring Shabu Shabu takes it to the next level. The green tea soft serve as the finale had my whole birthday party crew slumped in bliss. And the staff were kind, friendly, and patient.“
“First time here - after being asked 2-3 times, I finally decided to make the trip, not a huge fan of seafood but I’m glad I did. Hands down, the best flavor ever. I ate more seafood today than in the past 3 years. Clams and oysters were super fresh and delicious… the lobster combo (must try “FRY”) is goddamm addicting… their seafood pancake was also hands down … one of the best pancakes out there however i do wish for it to be a little bit more crisper … but no dipping sauce needed. Packed with seafood and flavorful.Atmosphere- spacious, definitely comfortable without feeling claustrophobicService- the server was super nice and friendly. Will come again. For sure!“
“Very tasty food in a casual, “taverna” settingVegetarian options: Greek cuisine has a lot of salads,Vegetarian spreads, and vegetarian options (such as spinach pies and fried zucchini)Wheelchair accessibility: There is a wheelchair ramp at a second, accessible entrance“
“Found my new favorite Thai restaurant. This is hands down the best Thai food ever! We ordered the Tofu Pad Thai, Tom Kha Soup, Chicken Satay, Snapper, Crabmeat Fried Rice and Thai Iced Tea. So delicious! Not only was the food amazing but the service was also amazing. Our server Jack was very attentive. We definitely recommend this place and will absolutely be returning soon to try other dishes!“
“I have nothing bad to say. The drinks 10/10. The vibes 10/10. We tried the plantain appetizer it was okay 7/10. The sushi platter was delicious as well. We would highly recommend this spot for date night. Music was good too! Our waitress was also so sweet. We came on a Tuesday it wasn’t busy but the waitresses were still great and knowledgeable!“
“The salads were crisp and refreshing complement. The soups, a comforting highlight, added warmth to the dining experience. A good spot to dine with friends on a casual night. Super friendly servers who were attentive but not overbearing ? The steamed egg was *chef's kisses*“
“The service at Villaggio's was great! The staff are very accommodating and always working in harmony. The Rigatoni with Burrata and a Marinara Sauce was delicious & my favorite dish. My husband had the Garlic Shrimp with Capellini, Garlic and Oil, which he loved! Thank you Dominick, Bobby, Angela and Staff for making us feel like Family.“
“Came by for an early dinner on a Saturday night. This place is a little outside the busy main Astoria area. The outside looks very minimalistic you wouldn't know it's Peruvian just passing by. From the drinks to the entree, everything was tasty and portioned well although slightly on the pricier side. One cocktail, fruit drink, arepa small dish, ceviche mixto, and entree came out to $100 after tip.“
“Ambiance: hipster hole-in-the-wall. I didn't ask if the servers are related, but it definitely has a family vibe.Portion size: ample. I got the bulgogi japchae. It came out in a small mixing bowl, filled to the brim. Plus, it came with banchan. You will not leave hungry!Service: very friendly. You can tell these are good people.Flavor: solidMy only nit is that the kitchen was slow. My food took a bit more than half an hour to come out.I don't think I'd take the train to come back here, but I would return if I was within walking distance. Great neighborhood spot!“
“Came here for the 18-course omakase. At first, I was concerned that it would be too much… how could I have 18 courses? Would I be too full? Too gluttonous?Luckily, each of the courses (a piece of sushi) was small and I was not too full by the end of the meal. There were delicious pieces and each were unique on their own - too many pieces to name. Some were just okay - none I disliked. The price was fair for the quality and the experience.I paired the meal with a bottle of sake - the limited sake list had a variety of styles and prices.Finished the meal with a yuzu cheesecake and that was a fine ending!“
“Had a birthday celebration for a party of 8. The reservation, table and service was excellent. Highly recommend it. Be prepared to order the minute your waiter comes by as it gets quite busy and it may take a while to get your entrees.Vegetarian options: Grilled tomatoes are delicious“
“The true "when you're here you're family." They gave us complimentary feta and olives and were very accommodating with an infant! The only downside is that the patio heaters do not sufficiently heat up the area. Even with our parkas on it was cold, and we opted to sit outdoors so the bebe wouldn't disrupt indoor guests.Vegetarian options: Most Greek food is vegetarian except for the "large plates." We only ordered small plates and had plenty to eat.Kid-friendliness: There was a family birthday celebration and our infant, they were very accommodating and friendly. Other places often make children feel like an unwelcome burden/nuisance, not these folks!!“
“Ordered delivery, guy on the phone was super nice, customized my whole order, delivery guy called in advance, followed my directions. Appreciate that. Food came and was looking fresh!!! ? And ? food was amazing. Really really yummy ? it looks good in the pics and it tastes good... A1 BURGER NEEDS FRESH ONION though ?. Sides are amazing as well. Will definitely be a customer again.“
“Very good food and always point on. Highly recommend there ribs on hot plate. General Tso is out of the world delish. Waiter always has very good recommendation. Service is excellent. Highly recommend!Vegetarian options: Excellent leafy greens bean seedling sauteed in garlicParking: Never had parking issues and been there 3 times in Wednesday Saturday and Sunday“
“Amazing Filipino restaurant in Queens. We ordered tapsilog, tocilog, batangas style lomi and ube coconut bar. They were delicious and very affordable. We also ordered bangsilog to go. THE UBE COCONUT BAR IS SOOOOOO GOOD! Will definitely come back and try the other food on the menu and the ube coconut bar again!!!“
“My favorite gluten-free spot. The food is delicious and seasonal, so you know you're getting the best ingredients. They also make some mean cocktails. Well worth an evening out with friends.Dietary restrictions: Gluten, shellfish, peanuts“
“I have been to this place several times now and after the first time that I came I will always bring a new friend. I really like this place because first off the atmosphere is banging. It's very beautiful with its futuristic vibe and ocean theme, its magic video walls constantly provide a diverse feast for the eyes. The food and cocktails are wonderful and I love the karaoke! I can't wait to sing to you.“
“Wandered in here at 2:30 in the morning when everything else was closed. Got the mapo tofu and some dumplings and it was fantastic. Service was great too. I have quite literally never left a review for any restaurant before, but had such a positive experience I wanted to spread the word.“
“Really thankful to have this spot within delivery distance of me! Their miso soup has a rich flavor and they have a 2-4-1 special which means I have leftovers for the next day. Their steamed pork buns are small but tasty. Their sushi rolls have been fresh every time!“
“What a fun experience and the food was fabulous! I ordered the baba ghanoush, which came with the best pita I’ve ever had. I didn’t see any menus, so you should ask the staff to guide you for a selection or read reviews before you go! I luckily had seen the tagine recommended, so I got the tagine with calamari and shrimp. Definitely a portion for two or more! I went as a solo diner and it was much too filling for just me. I would definitely recommend this as a place to go with a group, so you can order a few different things to share. The tagine came bubbling in a clay pot, and was very intensely flavored! Weirdly, I almost liked the vegetables more than the seafood! The shrimp seemed a little over cooked, but I think that’s the nature of this dish with shrimp. I would love to try again with a fish that could handle more intense heat. The tagine came with this wonderful onion rice that was a great pair. The meal came out to about $60 (with bottled water), which again would be a better situation for two! Next time, I’d love to try a whole fish and the fried calamari! Highly recommend making the trip to Astoria—it was walkable from the N and then walkable to the Museum of the Moving Image.“
“During my recent visit to NY, I happened to visit this restaurant for the first time. The food was authentic and tasty. The ambience was good and the service was great. I would surely go back to this restaurant next time I visit Queens, NY.“
“Chang Pai Restaurant offers a delightful culinary experience with a diverse menu of authentic Asian cuisine. Manager Momotha ensures top-notch service and a welcoming atmosphere. The food is consistently delicious, and the staff is attentive. Whether you're craving traditional Thai dishes or exploring new flavors, Chang Pai is a must-visit dining destination.“
“My absolute favorite Greek restaurant in the USA, let alone Astoria. The food in Athens, Greece is nothing compared to Taverna Kyclades! Fresh fish, delicious salads, cheeses, octopus, taramousalata, are yummy! Every time we go back to NYC, we stop in.“
