“Wow…! If you follow my reviews, you probably know I’m picky. Sitting in Maison Premiere right now and I have no words except awesome! These are the nicest waiters that i’ve ever met in the whole New York City restaurant experience until now, trust me, we’ve been to Michelin-starred restaurants and the waiters can’t compare to the genuine feeling that the waiters here make us feel. Amazing drinks; try to get a table along the bar then you can enjoy the bartender shows, they are pros. Well, we go to restaurants to enjoy food, right? So here comes the food review: oysters and shrimp are fresh, we tried raw scallops for the first time, and it opened some channels in my brain lol, best pork chop we’ve ever had, charred on the outside, super tender inside. We got the crème brûlée; it was smooth, creamy. I did taste a hint of alcohol in it which is a plus since I like desserts with alcohol associated with it. I have no better words now; will come back for a check and balance review. So far, I enjoy the experience, atmosphere, and the people here. LOVE it! “Best experience!! We had a private event at American Brass in January for about 20 people. Everything was perfect! The restaurant is gorgeous, and the food was delicious! We loved the style and atmosphere of the restaurant. Our menu included a champagne toast, appetizers, their amazing focaccia bread, steak frites, the polenta, passed desserts, and a cake. They were also able to accommodate a vegetarian option. It was all so good!! Everyone really loved their food, as well as drinks at the bar afterwards! The staff are all incredibly friendly and accommodating. Tegwyth, American Brass’s Events Manager, was so thoughtful and instrumental to planning our event! She worked closely with us for months leading up to the party and had great suggestions. Ellen, American Brass’s Executive Pastry Chef, made us the most beautiful and delicious cake. Everyone was raving about the cake! Juan, our server, was also phenomenal and went above and beyond. The restaurant is directly across from the Gantry Park Piers, great for photos. Lately they have been in bed stuy.This review is for my visit over the summer. We went on a Sunday and received the following: seafood mac n cheese; hot honey oxtail sliders; blueberry cornbread and the Cater 2 U which has salmon, shrimp and crab cakes. No complaints on the food, the portion size or the customer service. Everyone is always nice. I've only met the male owner during my visits and he is the best! We also got these croquette appetizers and they were on the smaller side but man were they delicious! My bf said he can down 10 of them if he had the option to. The oysters were fresh and smooth. It’s a little dry but amazingly delicious to enjoy with unique sauces. It came with 2 different salads and I love the classical Som Tum Thai.One of our favorites tonight was their Kau Lau Hotpot which the ingredients were various with great portion. The lobster roll was definitely bigger bread wise compared to some of the other lobster rolls that I've had so with bigger bread, it might give the illusion of not having much lobster. Fish and chips were okay, nothing spectacular as the fish itself didn't have much taste until you used the included sauces. Star of the show was probably the fries, but the orange sauce they included with the fish and chips (spicy mayonnaise I believe) was a nice touch.“

But overall really yummy.And I was going to get the regular matcha shaved ice but it was huge so the waitstaff said they had a few of the little ones from restaurant week left over and those had non-dairy ice cream underneath. “Wow! Truly wow’d by this place. New chef Sunny is doing something really great here. The food program is wonderful, we had the Hwe, Spicy Tuna Hand Rolls, and Mochi Cake. The hand rolls are great, tuna delicious! $9 each, so not cheap but definitely a tasty bite. The Hwe was extremely delicious, think of it as Korean poke. The lemon gochujang was very nice, and not overpoweringly spicy. It had a really nice crunch factor as well, everything was definitely well thought out in the dish. They were very friendly and welcoming.Massamam Curry + Roti (5/5): There was so much flavor to the curry and a creaminess that complimented wonderfully with the fresh roti! I could definitely been happy to have had this dish as my main.Khao Soi (4/5) - this classic northern Thailand dish of Chiang Mai resembled the same taste profile as that of my visit. However, the drums were not completely flavored through due to the thickness. Luckily for me I received free delivery ie to my free trial membership via Grubhub. I initially placed an order for Pepper Steak, White Rice, Beans, Boneless Chicken Chunks, and Empanadas - Beef and Chicken. I received a call from one of the employees who informed me they didn't have pepper steak. I tried to communicate with her to give me a different steak dish, but she didn't understand me. Her English wasn't the greatest and my Spanish was a little choppy, we managed to get through the call and I ended up with two orders of Boneless Chicken Chunks. The food was delicious. I received a decent portion of food. The rice was perfect. I liked that it had a little bit of oil in it which made it less dry and mushy. The beans were more sauce than beans, but it was absolutely tasty. I didn't care for the empanadas.“
