“BUA Thai is so gorgeous! The whole venue is adorned with flowers it's so aesthetically pleasing. You have to try the crab rangoon and rock shrimp lychee I'm definitely going back for these! Good luck choosing just one entree cause they all look so delicious, I had the BUA noodles which is so full of flavor. Love it here definitely going back!“
“We absolutely loved our experience at Ras! The food was bursting with flavor - every dish we had was so wonderful - we couldn’t pick a favorite! The service was fantastic - extremely attentive and friendly. The atmosphere is fun, but not chaotic - there is a live dj, but it didn’t feel like the music overwhelmed the atmosphere or the ability to hold a conversation at your table. I can’t wait to return to Ras! It’s become a favorite of mine, for sure!“
“TLDR: Decent Indian in Jackson Heights, close to the train station. Comfy seating.I was very much looking forward to this meal but maybe I got here past it's prime. The place is well lit, cozy but overall it was just alright. The biryani wasn't quite as spicy or seasoned as I'd expect. Butter chicken the meat was a bit on the drier side, the saag also a not too punchy in flavors.I really wanted to love this place but the food was just kind of okay. Maybe it was an off day because the reviews are very supportive.Service was nice though and seems like a nice family run restaurant. Perhaps I'd have a better experience on a revisit and ordered differently.“
“I have had an amazing experience with them. I ordered food for an iftar event happening at The Towers and they went above and beyond my expectations. They delivered on time, gave so much delicious food and were very helpful in making sure we had everything we needed. The event had no food left because everyone came back for 3rds and 4ths. Thank you so much for your hardwork!!“
“My husband and I have been wanting to try HAAM since they first opened - due to having Celiac, we had called asking if they have a gluten free fryer. They were still sorting out some of their kitchen logistics, but we finally got to try them and it was well worth the wait.First off, the chef personally came out and asked about our allergies because she remembered our phone calls - she made us feel extremely welcome. I ended up getting a "custom" sandwich using patacones as the bread - absolutely delicious! My husband got the mofongo which he said was better than mofongo he had in Puerto Rico! We also got the onigiri and the ceviche - both great. We will definitely be returning and are so excited to have a new vegan restaurant in the neighborhood.“
“Had a wonderful Sat. evening at Pusu, where the staff was super friendly and attentive, the food was delicious, and the ambiance was lovely. My table enjoyed the Lavender Amethyst and Snow Fall cocktails, cucumber salad (heads up, it's spicy!), salt and pepper fried mushrooms, hot and sour soup, and the standout black truffle fried rice, among other delicacies. Our server was sweet and accommodating. I'll be back!“
“Fabulous! You could spend so much money in here and never feel unhappy about it. Totally vegan it's actually quite large with lots of places to sit and just plants everywhere. if I had more money, I would buy myself every single plant and item they have here. lovely food, lovely staff, highly recommend! please support your neighborhood, vegan place.“
“Came across this place on Uber Eats so we decided to take advantage of the buy one get one free deal for the roti rolls. I like that you can customize your roll to however you like so the options are endless! Pleasantly surprised at how fast the service is and how amazing the food is! The ingredients taste fresh and the portions are the perfect size. It's our second time ordering from here and we were not disappointed! Safe to say this will be a regular spot for us and I look forward to trying the other items on the menu.“
“Curry and Handi has delicious, truly fresh, and flavorful food. I think it is the best Indian food I have had since visiting India 2 years ago. As a vegetarian I appreciate the offerings and highly recommend the broccoli tandori. The service is excellent as well.“
“It’s been a few years since I last came to footprints.. and once again it never disappoints. The drinks are always well made and not water downed. The food is always top tier. And the complimentary cucumber infused water with lemon is a plus.“
“Absolutely delicious Oaxacan food. I've always wanted to visit Oaxaca and this place definitely gave us a taste of what it will be like. The restaurant is small with a few tables but it wasn't crowded when we went for lunch on a holiday Monday. My boyfriend and I shared the mole poblano, mole oaxaqueño, and molcajete. The mole dishes came with rice, beans, and warm tortilla and I also got a small horchata. Everything came out piping hot and fresh, bursting with flavor with every bite. Nothing was too spicy but if you like sweeter things, I would highly recommend the mole poblano.“
“Stopped in here for brunch one Saturday morning, very friendly service, a superb Impossible Philly cheese steak (which took me back to Reading Terminal Market), strikes the plant based balance really well so great menu for everyone, good portion sizes.“
“Oh boy…where do I begin. My partner and I are just passing through town in need of a bite and this place delivered everything and more. He eats meat+cheese+etc. I’ve eaten vegan since 2019 and have been let down a LOT. Not so with this place! Both of us received heaping portions sampling a bunch of their offerings. I ate seitan, chana masala, collard greens, some veggies, and what seemed to maybe be a creamed kale? He got okra, rice, greens, and a serving of their real/non-vegan Fish. He commented that this is the best breakfast he’s had in a while and I couldn’t agree more.In and out the door in under 10 minutes, each with the aforementioned dishes plus a drink each, all $35. Are you kidding? I’d WALK here from my home in Chicago to eat it again. 35 dollars that’s crazy cheap for how good it was. There’s a place in New Orleans that is also vegan that serves a similar style that has been my white whale for years. I can’t remember the name. But luckily I have Ital Fusion in my phone forever now - even BETTER!“
“Jagdish and Vishala, owners of the restaurant (excuse the spelling) are very friendly. The service was fast and great, food was amazing as always (we got Gobi Manchurian Dosa and Spinach Masala Dosa this time). Only feedback would be the spice level could be more in the potato filling of the dosa. Chai at the restaurant or on the go is perfect too. I recommend anyone in the mood for yummy vegetarian Indian food to visit.“
“Opted for the double-cooked pork this time, and it offered a stunning impersonation of the original, with an assertive medium-spice sauce. Tofubox isn't content to get by with Nice Try Vegan Chicken Nuggets.Exploring vegetarian spots for curiosity rather than necessity, I've often encountered situations where, say, a jackfruit sandwich is just fine, but I'm still full after spending $20. Tofubox, however, offers a surprisingly good value proposition. If you're reading this review you're not a regular yet and thus should start out with a box set, preferably Box Set B.“
“I truly cannot believe this place has so few reviews- in an absolute sense, and not just because it's vegan, this is one of my favorite restaurants I tried recently in Brooklyn. This place is a small vegan deli in Bed-Stuy, not much space inside but has quick service. The menu has vegan takes in NYC classics like the bacon egg and cheese or chopped cheese. We ordered the Reuben loaded fries and chopped cheese sandwich. Both came out fresh and were high quality and value. The chopped cheese was amazing and savory, which is impressive considering it is vegetarian. The Reuben fries were also great and came with a healthy amount of sauerkraut. Overall this place is a must try and a true hidden gem!“
“I live in the neighborhood and consider it a treat each time I have an opportunity to have a meal here. The food is prepared with love and that is reflected both in the presentation and the taste. I often have a bowl of one of their soups along with a special, home fries, and a cup of coffee or two ( three :)) Everyone on the staff is helpful.“
“The food is awesome, howeverSometimes I feel like they're afraid of black ppl.,and can be stingy with the sauce the sweet chili to be exact, also I ordered something from the lunch special around 3:45 PM right before it ends, and I got there little after four and they told me my order was never placed,so before you order, make sure you pay“
“I’m not vegan but I love this place. It’s one of my favorite lunch spots in this area. Portions are great, food is fresh, service is friendly, and the vibes are immaculate. Word of warning: the vegan jerk chicken is super spicy (in the best way).“
“Had the Island Storm and Green Vibes minus the honey, smoothies…they were just right and refreshing on a hot sunny Summer afternoon. Also had the jerk plantain, ackee, and callaloo Patties. They were flaky, light, not overly filled, not greasy, satisfying and tasty. Nice for quick bites on the run or chilling at home. I dined in. Just really cool vibes on a hot day.“
“I recently had the pleasure of dining at this establishment, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. The food was absolutely delicious, and the customer service provided by our server, Rochelle, was outstanding. Rochelle warm demeanor and attentiveness made our meal truly enjoyable. She was knowledgeable about the menu, offered excellent recommendations, and ensured that all our needs were met throughout the evening. I highly recommend this restaurant!“
“It had been a while since I visited this place and I braved a monsoon and idiot drivers to get here. The dosas were on my mind. The place was clean, I placed my order and sat down, and was given my masala dosa. My first thought was shrinkflation is real. When I tasted it, I forgot all that. The dosa was fantastic and combined with the price, it is unbeatable anywhere in the city. For your South Indian food fix, this is the place to go. I am still convinced this is the best dosa and South Indian food in NYC. Anywhere else will have to bring their A game and be able to get over a high bar!Vegetarian options: This place is all vegetarianParking: Parking is hard here so plan accordingly“
“Fantastic restaurant with such romantic flair, super cozy and the food is served in large portions for one person! We had the Garlic bread with goat cheese which was splendid, the butternut squash soup is a must try and the rigatoni/bolognese were delightful. Our waitress Madeline was stupendous and super patient to our party with 4 kids. Very grateful for her continuous attentiveness. the only thing I would say or take the subway or an Uber as parking is so scarce. We’re here on a Wednesday night!“
“After a long time has a peferct sarso ka saag . Totally punjabi style...without tomatoes.. the Makki ki roti remained soft till i got home.. I would rate this as perfect. Please never change the reipe of this... Still have to try the Paneer Purji.. ahich my friend raved aboutJalandhar wali AuntieVegetarian options: Sarso ka saag and paneer purji“
“It is the BEST south Indian veg food I ever had in NewYork.Taste wise and quality wise...it's the best best food.Dosa and Vada and chutney is so delicious.Coconut chutney (this restaurant makes it in authentic way)So happy I went there. But I really suggest them to change their mode of table service.“
“Great place to enjoy meals with friends, family or solo. Friendly and efficient staff.Lots of delicious food and drink offerings.I've never been disappointed with the food.Vegetarian options: Fresh vegetable & fruit drinks to die for.Kid-friendliness: Very relaxed and comfortable seatsWheelchair accessibility: Yes“
“They have healthy vegan food which is rare in this neighborhood. On top of that the vegan food tastes identical like real meat. Highly recommend Citrus chicken made with vegan meat , Plant base delight with quinoa. Feel inside out healthy at this restaurant and look for their delivery service of my everyday meal.“
“Stopped in for a hummus plate with falafel. Comes with pita and bunch of veggies. Generous on the hummus but only three small pieces of falafel. Plenty of veggies and pita. One gender neutral restrooms. Seemed like it was remote work friendly.“
“The ambiance of Cha Menya is aesthetic, beautiful and relaxing. The service and food were impeccable! We had the karage and ika for starters. They were delicious! The ika especially exceeded my expectations. For mains we had the triple shrimp and the tsukemen. Both were delicious but my favorite was the tsukemen. Everything in both ramen's were cooked perfectly and the both was amazing.“
“This place was excellent, we had the vegetable samosas, chicken korma and biryani all cooked and seasoned perfectly. The service was great. They are a byob restaurant but no worries, you can buy a bottle of wine/beer across the street and bring it with you. We’ll be back!“
“This was our first time eating Ital food and it was nothing short of heavenly. It’s a cute tiny shop with vegan ice cream and vegan savory ital food. A few small tables outside. You get a bang for your buck here! If we lived here we would come every single week.“
“Let me tell you how i found this gem. We went to Bua, very famous thai place just beside this restaurant and had very bad appetizers and decided to leave. I left a review to theirs if you wondered what happend. It was raining, saw this place just beside so walked in.Pros:Very clean.Service was quick.Food was A+++++Dude seriously me and my friend finished our plates with no discussions.Cons:Drinks can be improved. We called the food “ amma chethi vanta” in our language Telugu, which is Mom’s home food. It was that good and gave home feels.Atmosphere gavd moroccan vibes.“
“One of my family's favorite vegetarian restaurants! The Samosas are my personal favorite. The vibe in there is very nice and calm with a stunning interior, soothing music, and ambient lighting. Overall a great place and not too expensive.“
“We got a falafel plate and pita. The falafels stayed soft yet crunchy on the outside, and were filled with amazing flavors and spices. Genuinely, it was the best falafel I’ve had, and I think it will be hard to top.The salad, pita and hummus were very authentic and great on their own. Can’t wait to go back and try the rest of the menu. ?“
“Been coming here for YEARS. Never disappoints. Consistently amazing food!! Literally everything on this menu hits the spot. One of my absolute favorite places. So happy that as a vegetarian I can anything here !!Vegetarian options: One of the best places to get vegetarian Asian food!!! Enjoyed by vegetarians, vegans, and non vegetarians alike.“
“My partner, 5 month old daughter, and I wandered in for an early dinner and were treated with open arms and delicious food. Chef Michael and his son were incredibly warm, gracious and fun to interact with. Chef Michael entertained our daughter while we devoured our meals. The salmon is a must and we loved the Thai-Fi stew. Ital Kitchen will without a doubt turn into a regular hangout for us.“
“New to the neighborhood and was excited to explore healthy lunch spots. Eden’s came up to the top of the list and it didn’t disappoint! The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful. The salad itself (elote) was delicious! Will be back!Updating with the seasonal (Fall) Curry Cauiloflower which was soo good! Also, big shout out to Hannah who always greets customers with a warm welcome and friendly convo’s“
“I purchased a chicken roti for the first time, I usually purchase goat roti. I was a bit disappointed because they didn't cut the chicken for roti. Other than that the dhalpuri and the vegetables were on point.I purchased doubles for the first time because my sis was coming to town. I told them I wanted everything, which I meant the sauces. I got beef in my doubles also??♀️. Next time I have to be specific?.“
“Bang bang broccoli is the literal best thing they serve. Watch out for there menu changes for example usually the sushi menu is always changing. Great vegan options and mediocre gf options. Depending on when your going service can change. Would suggest you go during happy hour and get some niece deals or order the sushi box to dine in. You can’t really go wrong 4 stars also watch out some stuff is really small“
“I'm totally biased since I was raised on this stuff but no other south Indian spot will beat dosa hutt. The dosas are delicious, the fillings are packed full of flavor. The uttapam is hot and crispy and flavorful. The paneer in the dosa was amazingThe best part is the sambar hands down. It's been the same for like 20 years and it feels homemade and unique and I haven't been able to get anything close to it anywhere else India included. The coconut green chutney is my fave tooooo. So flavorful perfectly seasoned and delicious. Highly recommend always!“
“Wonderful! I had a falafel on pita and a honey comb dessert to go with. Very much delicious! I think they could’ve been more polite. The man was rushing me to pay - I had a child with me while I was scrambling looking for my wallet. Otherwise, great! I would def come back ?❤️(Also, VERY affordable. The falafel sandwich was $8 and honey comb pastry was $3 can’t beat that)“
“My family loves this place. The staff are very accommodating and the food is top notch.Vegetarian options: The vegetarian roti is delicious.Dietary restrictions: If you tell them your dietary restrictions the staff can recommend something tasty that meets your needs.Kid-friendliness: My two-year old loves the food here (even things that are a little spicy). But they have a “standard American” kids section on the menu as well.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp to the front door.“
“Mohammed asked me to leave a good review. I'm puzzled because obviously Dosa Delight has the best Subcontinental /Vegetarian/Vegan/Jain food in the Western hemisphere and I didn't think this was controversial, but anyway, thank you MohammedVegetarian options: Has vegan and Jain food as well. Kosher and Halal“
“Overall, it was a great experience! We reserved a large dinner birthday party with ease. Upon arrival, the staff was attentive and happy to receive us. We were comfortably seated in the center of the restaurant, the food was delicious, the drinks were so tasty, and the ambiance was spot on! We had multiple dishes and not one disappointed! Once the dinner portion was done, they swiftly transitioned into a dance party with a live DJ playing Salsa and Bachata music. I'm happy to have tried them and will definitely be back.“
“first time coming here ever on a less busy day and had the pleasure of chatting with the owner lori! she is clearly very passionate and her menu is well thought out and researched, i even got a taste of her chipotle coleslaw which was delish. the carnitas really are bomb like the sign outside says. also both the red sauce and green sauce were divine! i will be coming back soon!“
“The food is delicious and the owner is so kind! I found this restaurant while exploring the area and I’m so glad I went in. I’ve had the fresh juices and veggie platter. Both were amazing and very fresh. If you’re looking for healthy and delicious options, this is it.“
“Amazing food, so healthy, really considerate staff. Wow! The options are full of superfoods, hot plate and smoothies. When you walk into Italfari it smells like health. And health means wealth. The food and drinks are pricey but well worth it!“
“I mean, first and foremost I can’t stop emphasizing how much revitalizing the food is after couple of drinks. The Staff is so friendly and accommodating, Specially mama Rabe, she’ll have you feeling like you’ve just discovered a brand new mom that knows exactly what your stomach need lol. I definitely recommend to check it out.“
“This place is so good! Such a solid neighborhood staple. As a meat eater, I was pleasantly surprised at how good all the plant-based dishes are (trying to cut back on how much meat I eat). The portions are generous too, and it's a nice change from some of the greasier Chinese food I eat. The lady who works at the front counter is super sweet - always nice chatting with her. The food always comes out hot and fast! Smoothies are great too.“
“The food here is beyond AMAZING. It makes turning vegan easier. BUT I must say the attitude of the cashier doesn't match the greatness of the food. I just started going there and the few times I've came She has not welcoming. Her attitude isn't good When you come in to spend your money somewhere. But the food is so good there i hope their customer service begin to match their food.“
