“Everything was the BOMB! We were the 1st to arrive for the evening. I traveled from NC back home to celebrate with my friends because two of our birthdays are days apart. We've been friends for 25 plus years and we haven't had the chance to hang out like this in FOREVER. Our bartender was amazing!!!! Damn boo I can't remember your name but girl YOU ARE AMAZING!!!! “157 Tavern has been a staple in the area for 10 years and is an excellent choice for parties or group gatherings. You can simply provide them with your budget, and they will curate the menu for you, which makes the planning process very convenient.

Regarding the food:

Grilled Spanish Octopus: Highly recommended. The potato pave is delicious, and the octopus is tender with a perfect charred exterior.

Short Rib with Bone Marrow: The meat is very tender and falls apart at the touch of a fork, though I wish the portion of bone marrow was a bit larger.

King Salmon: Quite tender.

Burrata Cheese: Standard/average.

Caramel Flan: Delicious and beautifully presented.

Overall, it is a great spot for a nice dinner.“

They were so accommodating with all of our requests and our guests were raving about the cocktails and the atmosphere. “I've been to a lot of Delta Skyclubs as a longtime Diamond Medallion. This is one of my favorite ones. Why? Spacious and high ceiling along with a lot of natural light coming in. Just makes such a difference not to be a place with low ceilings.

“This bar is amazing and is one of my favorites in the neighborhood. They have fantastic Happy Hour deals ($10 cocktails and $1 oysters). The oysters are huge and fresh.

Also wanted to give a huge shout out to the jazz band on Sundays. They’re incredible musicians and really elevate the experience.

“We really liked this lounge, one of the best business lounges we have been to. It was quiet when we visited and a large part of it was inaccessible due to construction for an upgrade. However, the lounge was very comfortable. The food quality and selection was excellent. I came here on a whim after going to a very pretentious bar & a terrible date. So happy I stumbled here because it was exactly what I needed. I came late and just came for cocktail & it was really dark. The service was friendly and I enjoyed the vibe of the place. I don’t have many pictures but will definitely be putting this place on favorites if I’m in the area again. I also love how dimly lit it is! Highly recommend.“

One of the dishes did take a bit long but it easily could have been the dish itself or the timing and wasn't enough to detract from 5 stars“
