“I have sapphire and centurion access with a 4hr layover to kill, so I hopped on both waitlists since they’re conveniently located next to eachother. Centurion won on the wait time, I got in within 10mins. Decent food, nice coffee shop, quite crowded. I got the text message from sapphire that I was cleared so I jumped ship. First, Sapphire seats you, which is soooo much nicer than the typical lounge experience of awkwardly trying to find a seat with everyone ready to pounce when someone gets up to leave. First point to Sapphire. The buffet was about the same size as centurion with similar offerings BUT sapphire also offers made to order food which you can order from your table. It was all quite tasty as well. Another point to Sapphire. More gluten free options at Sapphire as well, another point. Feels much less crowded and instead of just on tap or bar beverages, they have canned stuff that you can grab to go, great to stock up for the flight in the world of stupidly overpriced airport goods. All said and done, both are nice, but Sapphire is better if you have the option.“

“157 Tavern has been a staple in the area for 10 years and is an excellent choice for parties or group gatherings. You can simply provide them with your budget, and they will curate the menu for you, which makes the planning process very convenient.

Regarding the food:

Grilled Spanish Octopus: Highly recommended. The potato pave is delicious, and the octopus is tender with a perfect charred exterior.

Short Rib with Bone Marrow: The meat is very tender and falls apart at the touch of a fork, though I wish the portion of bone marrow was a bit larger.

King Salmon: Quite tender.

Burrata Cheese: Standard/average.

Caramel Flan: Delicious and beautifully presented.

Overall, it is a great spot for a nice dinner.“

“The atmosphere was amazing! Food delicious! Only thing no Greens or cabbage, or Cornbread it always goes with Yams, mac and chz , Catfish was wonderful! Green beans, cabbage, greens Always go with cornbread or dinner rolls! Love this place! Will be coming back!“
