The burgers are so flavorful and juicy and came with a special sauce with cheese, lettuce and tomato. It tasted so good. The Fries were topped with salt, pepper and spices. They really have a great flavor and really don't need ketchup. The one thing is that they give you a very generous portion and are perfect for sharing. The view of the shore is amazing and it is nice to hear the waves crashing while you are eating. It puts you in the mood and you can just relax.“

“It was date night!!! Double date night that is. My close boy and I planned a secret double date with our significant other. They did not know it was a double until we met up at the door of Salvaje social club. let me just say the ambiance did not disappoint at all, the wild jungle theme had me loving every minute of my walk in and stay. Throughout the night the smoke machine would random blow smoke give the place a misty look. The music was pumping all night long and kept us in an upbeat vibe. The selection of music was mainly Spanish music, they did sprinkle in some English music but for most the night it was reggaeton etc. Although I didn't understand what was being said I surely loved the beat of every song that played. The staff at salvaje was very quick, informative of the menu, polite and friendly. We started off with the seeds of passion which was very tasty and strong. We did two rounds of that drink, couldn't get enough of it lol. I then had a Hennessy and pineapple juice , I don't know what pineapple juice was used but it was so good along with the Hennessy. For starters we had the shrimp toastadas and let me tell you it was amazing , I highly recommend it. Two of us ordered the Milton's rice and the other two ordered chicken on the cut. The rice was well fried and seasoned along with the shrimp, it was just a bit salty but i still loved it, the food really did not let me down at all. We stuck around after eating to drink more and dance a bit during our stay. I'll give Salvaje a 10/10 for vibes 10/10 for drinks 9/10 for Food 10/10 for service 10/10 for ambiance“

“Picture this: an Asian guy and a white guy walk into a Japanese restaurant. You can practically feel the cultural collision brewing like miso soup on a hot stove. As they peruse the menu, the Asian guy starts dropping Japanese phrases like he's auditioning for a role in a samurai movie, while the white guy nods along like he's deciphering ancient hieroglyphics. They finally settle on their orders, and the Asian guy confidently asks for the chef's special, rattling off the name with such finesse that even the waitstaff is impressed. Meanwhile, the white guy, bless his heart, points to the first thing he sees and says, 'I'll have that one, please.'When the food arrives, the Asian guy's dish looks like a work of art, meticulously arranged with delicate slices of sashimi and vibrant garnishes. The white guy's plate, on the other hand, resembles a Jackson Pollock painting—splashes of soy sauce here, a rogue edamame there. But hey, they dig in with equal gusto, trading bites and swapping stories like they've been best buds since birth. And amidst the slurping of noodles and the clinking of chopsticks, you can't help but marvel at the beauty of cultural exchange—and the hilarity of two guys bonding over a mutual love for Japanese cuisine, regardless of their culinary proficiency or lack thereof. In the end, they leave the restaurant with full bellies, big smiles, and a newfound appreciation for the universal language of good food and great company. And isn't that what dining out is all about? 5 stars for the food, the laughs, and the unexpected friendships forged over a bowl of ramen.“

Earlier in the evening, they had tables set up, but they were moving those out of the way when we arrived to create more space. It seemed like a drag show had just finished. They had a few bar stools along the walls and kept a couple tables at the back. We got chips and guac. The guac tasted fresh and the chips were nice and crispy. Good portion size as well. Their drink prices were very reasonable. I got a well drink for $9. They also had a few specials like a beer and a shot, also for $9. They had a handful of single occupancy bathrooms, which were relatively clean. The music however was disappointing. It was mostly house music. Decent beats, but very few recognizable songs that you could sing along to. It got decently full, but wasn't overly crowded. Folks generally seemed friendly. A good number of people were dancing. I might consider coming again, but would try to pick a day with a different DJ genre.“

“I really like sandwiches, especially the classic Italian ones you get at places like Sal Kris and Charlie’s in Astoria, where I’ve lived for most of my life. When I see new, trendy spots popping up, I’m often skeptical because I wonder if they focus more on looking cool than making tasty food. So, I walked into this new place on a Saturday afternoon and ordered my usual – an Italian sandwich. To my surprise, they had some unique options on the menu, like a ramen sandwich and a couple of Texas-style BBQ ones. While waiting for my order, I noticed a lively brunch crowd with music playing in the background – a nice vibe. The guy taking my order was nice too. When I got my sandwich home, it was bigger and looked different from what I’m used to at the typical Italian deli. But that was okay because it was genuinely unique, and I hadn’t tasted anything like it before. They did a good job combining different styles and putting their own spin on it. I think the aioli was made it extra special. That being said… I recommend giving it a cry. I’m curious to try more sandwiches from there in the near future!“

“Great dive bar right next to the 30th St subway stop. When my friends and I noticed they had $3 PBRs, we were sold. Bartender also gave us a buyback on our 3rd beer! Too bad they didn't serve any food though. Very mixed crowd of all ages. They have bands on weekends sometimes and I noticed they had a sign indicating live Bluegrass Sundays. If they ever got a jukebox that only played Irish and bluegrass music, then I would give them 5 stars. But, had to take away a star for the crappy music some people were playing on the jukebox.“

“I went in here early afternoon. I get the stylishness of the bar and can imagine it appealing to younger folks who don't want the Irish sports bar type of place. It's definitely not that. No beer taps. And the beer I had was skunked. More of a cocktails and whiskey vibe. Not really my kind of place, but I get why someone might dig it.“

“Most of the dishes were good, although a little disappointing to see chicken lollipops were made out of Drumsticks instead of the wings. Service was good, but it was expected as the place was deserted when we went for dinner. Ambiance is mediocre. Would go there again only for the food.Vegetarian options: They have all the usual Indian veggie options.“
