I had to try the famous Captain Crunch Chicken Fingers, and they did not disappoint. The sweet, crunchy, savory combination is pure genius. I also ordered the Belgium Waffle served with eggs exactly the way I like them and a choice of savory bacon. The kicker? The meal also comes with a generous spread of fresh muffins, bagels, fruit, and your choice of a cocktail to kick things off!To top it all off, the chocolate truffle cake was the absolute bomb. Rich, decadent, and the perfect sweet ending to an already flawless meal. The service was fantastic, and the drinks were flowing. “Anthony is so nice! I made a fairly large order on the phone shortly before coming in, he accommodated my order even on a busy night (NYE)! He even threw in so many extras. “A warm welcoming place offering French Creole cuisine from Reunion island. A compact menu offering very reasonably priced apps and mains, and a lot of lentil and rice. Ordered the sampler though a few items we wanted were out. Tender coconut shrimp and beef Bourguignon entrees were excellent. We were well taken care of by the staff.“

I had chicken tenders, my mom had fried shrimp ,we both had with sweet potato fries that had a slight syrupy taste which were amazing, we got hush puppies and calamari to split..both great..we ate and still have plenty left for a full meal.. also have a seperate full bar, frozen drinks, tv's etc service was also great ..I definitely recommend ...oh and great prices“

“We love to come here especially on Tuesdays for the $1 oysters! Food is fresh and delicious. Cap’t Louis sauce is a must!!! The hotter the better. Service is superb, the employees are always so welcoming and friendly especially Minn Kha!!! Hands down the best seafood boil in the neighborhood.“

“The $30 AYCE weekday lunch special is a great deal.
I pay an extra $10 to add a whole lobster, so for $40 I'm getting an amazing lunch plus a generous amsoze whole lobster. For me, That's a much better deal than spending over $50 for dinner and no included lobster for that price.

On the other hand if you are more of a snow crab person, The higher price dinner includes that.
still I would look to Wednesdays because I think they may have a BOGO on snow crab (non-AYCE).“

“I went to BOBO'S Crab shack the other day because I wanted to go to a different place that was closed when I got there. I ordered Whiting and fries with some Elote. When I got home and had the dinner I enjoyed the food. I will be going back again when I want some Fish and chips.“

I had an amazing experience at Captain Loui thanks to Christina. From the moment we were seated, she was friendly, attentive, and professional. She made sure we had everything we needed, checked on us regularly, and provided excellent customer service throughout our meal.
Christina’s positive attitude and attention to detail truly stood out and made our dining experience even better. She was knowledgeable about the menu, patient with our questions, and went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect.
Employees like Christina are the reason customers like myself will keep coming back. She is a tremendous asset to Captain Loui and absolutely deserves recognition for her hard work and dedication. I highly recommend asking for Christina if you visit—she was amazing and definitely deserves a raise!

“My sister and I went to this establishment on Tuesday, June 30th, 2026 at around 4:30pm.
We were seated immediately and served water. Which we were so grateful for because it was very hot out.
We decided to get 2 lobster and shrimp seafood boils. They were amazing, as was the garlic sauce. The potion size was a lot for the price!

Our server was great and resourceful.
The bathrooms were very clean.
The atmosphere was great!

Anywhere I can go and purchase a decent amount of food for a reasonable price...anddddd it's still hitting days later is a A+++ in my book. As I don't eat too much in one sitting and also I don't like having to waste food.
