We just chuckled and said it doesn’t matter. When we got our meal to share, we were shocked to see it being delivered in an anchor hocking glass baking dish 😂 The food was really good though 🙃“

“A warm welcoming place offering French Creole cuisine from Reunion island. A compact menu offering very reasonably priced apps and mains, and a lot of lentil and rice. Ordered the sampler though a few items we wanted were out. Tender coconut shrimp and beef Bourguignon entrees were excellent. We were well taken care of by the staff.“

“I loved that they had valet service, however I ordered from the brunch menu and I had to keep finding my waiter to give me extra drinks from the bottomless menu. I felt kind of rushed with the way the host, waiter kept taking items off our table even though a lot of our guests couldn't make it. I might try it again but I'll wait awhile.“

“Friend who tried Cap’t Loui in Cape Cod highly recommended it when she saw it open in Sunnyside, Queens. Prices are good, so you don’t have to wait to treat yourself only on special occasions. The Capt’n Loui sauce boil was really good and 1 pound per person was very filling. The garlic noodles as a side was delicious, and we tried it dipped in the boil’s sauce, too. Service was spectacular. Minh Kha gave us his favorites as suggestions and cleaned up after us well. All of my favorite pop tunes were playing as well. Thoroughly enjoyed and will be back.“

“I walked into Halal Cajun Platters and the man who was there treated me like family. I never met him in my entire life and I came in to get a green juice but I didn’t have enough money to pay for it. However the man who was at the counter treated me with so much love and kindness. The food is so incredible and every single thing on the menu is the best food you will ever eat and that’s because it is made with so much love. “I discovered this place through Too Good To Go app. It's a family owned fish market and restaurant. They serve a variety of seafood, Chinese food and sushi. The staff here are very kind and accommodating, which is not the norm with a lot of places on TGTG.

I've been here several times and some of my favorite options are the seafood boil and sushi entrée. The seasoning in the seafood boil is so good! The fish is consistently fresh, which makes sense since it's a fish market. They also use the perfect rice ratio in their sushi. My favorite is the white tuna. The tuna just melts in your mouth, it's absolutely delicious!

Things to keep in mind, this is primarily a fish market so the seating is limited. Best to do takeout.“
