Le Bilboquet is one of those places I only needed to visit once to understand the mythology. I went for lunch with a remarkably well-connected South African who had built an impressively cosmopolitan network spanning global finance, foreign affairs, and philanthropy. We had such a wonderful evening at Le Bilboquet. This restaurant holds a very special place for both of us, and we come here often for memorable occasions.

We came for brunch on a July Saturday afternoon hoping for a turn up but there was no DJ. Instead we enjoyed a relaxing upscale afternoon with caviar, the days special of truffle ravioli and a Cobb salad. The drinks were ice cold and the servers were all so kind. As a party of two, we sat in the window and watched people walk by which was fun. It’s delicious food, I love coming here in the summer.
