“A Home Run of flavor I just devoured at Lugo's Restaurant & Lounge, and I'm still reeling from the culinary hat trick. This dish is the MVP of my food here - succulent shrimp, indulgent lobster, and tender skirt steak join forces to create a flavor trifecta that will leave you screaming 'Triple Crown!'

The shrimp was so juicy, it practically swam onto my fork. The lobster? Butter-tender and begging to be devoured. And don't even get me started on the skirt steak - cooked to perfection and practically singing 'Take Me Out to the Ball Game' with every bite.

Lugo's Triple Play is a grand slam of flavors, a culinary World Series champion. If you haven't tried it yet, drop everything and get to Lugo's - your taste buds will thank you. Five stars, ten stars, a million stars - this dish is the real MVP."“

So Right Of The Bat The Place Is Super Clean And No Bad Odors, All The Dishes Looks Really Delicious, Staff Is Knowledgeable And Helpful

It's Somewhat Of A Old School Interior...It's White Tiles, Plastic Food Trays And Plates Which Gives A High School/College/Hospital Dining Space LOL....But AGAIN It's Very Clean

So This Is Another Dominican Place And TBH I Think It's A Little Hidden Gem...There Really Isn't Much Other Options Around

They Had Lot's Of Pickup Orders Which Is Good To See And While Here It Had Other Folks Dining In

I Had My Typical Dominican Breakfast Which Was Mangu, Salami, Sausage, Two Sunny Side Up Eggs All Topped Of With Pickled Red Onions....Ohh And A Lg Coffee

I'll Give Them A Solid 6.5-7 Out Of 10 BUT Understand This Is JUST For The Dish....Everything Else Was A Pleasant Experience And Would Give That Aspect 8.8 Out Of 10

I'm DEFINITELY Going Back To Try Their Other Meals...They All Looked Delicious

I Highly Recommend Them And Definitely Worth A Try“

“I always make my picadera al home, because I've never like anything in the market, but this picadera dominicana was great, specially the empanaditas and the croquettes.... and the kippes... ok, ok, everything was excellent. The presentation was also very nice.I cannot understand the bad reviews, the service was very professional and, even when I contact them late on December 30 they answer me early the day after and get my order ready on time.I'll definitely recommend you to all my friends!“

“A small family business. Although there was limited seating, we arrived about 5pm on a Wednesday evening and there was seating for the 4 of us. We ordered Cuban sandwiches and they were great. For the first time we also shared an order of Mofungo, it was delicious. The service was excellent and friendly. A true NYC neighborhood experience. A must if you are in the neighborhood. Walking distance from LaGuardia Plaza Hotel. Although we were tourists, they made us feel like family. Thank you for a great experience. The Maas family“

“I recently had the pleasure of dining at this establishment and the experience was a mixed bag. The food was absolutely exceptional, each dish bursting with flavor and well prepared. The service was top-notch as well - attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. I ordered a Cosmo and my friend ordered the old fashioned. The bartender did an excellent job and both drinks were delicious!

However, the ambiance left something to be desired. The decor felt a bit outdated and could use some modernization to match the quality of the cuisine and service. With a revamp in the ambiance department, this place could easily become a five-star dining destination. Overall, a great spot for a delicious meal with fantastic service, but with room for improvement in the atmosphere.“

“My experience at this restaurant was mostly positive, with the exception of one unfortunate incident with the drink order. Despite requesting a virgin piña colada for the children, the waitress brought it with alcohol, which could have been dangerous since the children had already consumed some of the drink. She noticed the mistake and ran to the table but the children had already had a couple of drinks ? Despite this inconvenience, we decided not to cause a scandal and let it go.

As for the rest of the experience, the food was delicious and the service was friendly and attentive. However, it is crucial that the restaurant improves its processes to ensure that drink orders are served correctly, especially when it comes to serving alcohol to minors.

Overall, I would recommend this restaurant, but I suggest being careful when ordering drinks to avoid awkward situations like the one we experienced. I hope you take steps to improve this and provide an even better experience for your customers in the future!“

“We walked to El Manto, a pleasant half mile from our hotel next to LGA in search of an adventure. Hotel-type food is almost always a last resort.El Manto features a steam table with delicious, freshly made Dominican Food. It is not a fancy restaurant atmosphere. We saw a steady flow of people picking up their food, everyone with a smile. The same person cooks, serves, tends the 5-6 tables, and hums a pleasant melody that reflects her values. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal. As we walked back to hotel we commented how pleasant was our adventure at El Manto. This is a neighborhood gem!

Wheelchair accessibility: Restroom is not wheelchair accessible.“
