“If you want some good ol' Dominican food without breaking the bank, this is the spot. I had chicharron de pollo. My hubby had the roasted chicken with rice and beans and it was also good. The only reason I put 4 for atmosphere is because the place looked kinda bare. They could improve the atmosphere a little with some minimal decore like something on their tables or wall decor. Maybe it looks better at night.“

“Great food and great service. The food reminds me of home and is reasonably priced. We keep coming back for the ox tail stew, ribs, beef steak, porkchops, dumplings and the boneless chicharonnes de pollo. Most meals are served with white or yellow rice and beans or vegetables. If you want to try something different, they have the beef liver and squid ink fried rice which remind me of squid ink Paella. The combination meals are a great option to try out different dishes. The staff and owners always greet you with a warm welcome.“

“We were supposed to eat at another restaurant, Anny, but when we got there, they informed us that they would only accept cash. Yet there was no ATM. We started walking on 116th, looking for an ATM. Instead, we found this place to eat. It's a buffet style place with only one booth style table. The best thing was that the food was good and the price was right.“

“I highly recommend this driving school. For my son 17 years old the instructor Ayub teach him nicely and within short time and less driving lessons my son was able to drive perfectly. Today my son pass the road test and I am happy. As an instructor Ayub is the best and I suggest all of the student try at once and I believe you guys won’t regret it. We went to celebrate my birthday with my husband and siblings and honestly… we had such a good time. From the moment we walked in, the staff was super nice and helpful and just made everything feel easy and welcoming. The vibe is really good, cozy, great music, loud enough to vibe in your seat but still easy to talk.

We started with the guacamole & chips and the tostoncitos with birria, both so good. While we were eating, Marcelo (the owner) came by and was so warm and welcoming. You can tell he really cares about the experience.

For food, I got the chimi sandwich with birria (so good), my husband got the mondongo birria, it had a lot of meat (he even said it was a bit much lol) but the flavor was really good. My siblings got the ribeye steak and shrimp tacos with rice and beans and loved it.

The drinks were sooo good, passionfruit mojitos, mocktails, and the Frida Kahlo drink were all a hit.

You can really taste the Dominican-Mexican fusion, which I loved, it’s different in a really good way. Marcelo and his team were all so kind and attentive.

We literally left still talking about how good everything was. Such a vibe. Can’t wait to go back.“

The food here is consistently flavorful, fresh, and made with love. It doesn’t matter if I eat in the restaurant or order takeout the food here is always a 10/10!
