“I can’t say enough good things about this my first visit to Next Stop Vegan in celebrating a dear friend’s birthday. We made reservations for a party of 8 and had to adjust the time due to the inclement weather and was met with a Caribbean vibe of “no worries! We’ll see you when you get here?” kinda vibe. The layout is intimate and they make great use of the space. The menu is 1 page 2 sided which makes things less complicated ?? Moat meals are under $20 per person and worth every penny. So affordable. We ordered 8 different dishes to mix and taste and enjoyed them all! What a win. I’m already planning my return trip. Not salty, seasoned well, not oily with tons of great flavor. We had the mofonguitos, el plato, Yuka fries, guacamole & chip, oyster mushroom sandwich, pigeon peas in coconut milk with rice, tofu and avocado, friend green plantain with black bean, avocado, greens and tomato to name a few.Now for the best part. The service! Top notch white glove treatment like you are the only party there. We had 2-3 different servers throughout the evening and each one without exception was outstanding! Thank you for making our celebration oh so special and we can’t wait to experience the awesomeness that is Next Stop Vegan again! You guys rock!Unfortunately no street parking to speak of BUT there are 3 parking garages on the same block so you’ve got options.“
“Some of the most tender chicharrones I've ever had. I wanted to try their beef ribs but unfortunately they were out of stock when we got there. We went on a Saturday night and they played live Latin music so the overall ambiance was dope. I will be back to try the beef ribs. The pork ribs were seasoned and tender to perfection. Cool spot for BBQ lovers!!!“
“I mean, first off I'd like to say, if you're coming here, you MUST order the Picadera sampler. I mean, I think about it from time to time and this is what keeps me coming back. The ambiance is good and wait staff is wonderful. I don't love the Ala carte pricing as others have said but the food is great and the vibes are good so worth going on a nice date night or dinner with friends.“

“We staying next door at the Muse and I walked the 20 steps to Margon to get a cafe con leche and tostada cubana. I was blown away. As born and raised Miamian, I can honestly tell you that the best cafe con leche is found at Margon in Manhattan. Hands down. And the ambiance reminds me of the old-school cafeterias and bakeries my grandfather and dad would take me to as a little girl. Keep doing what you’re doing .. loads of blessings and suerte, your way!“
“Tres Leches Cake is THE BEST omg. I’ve been trying tres leches cake everywhere until I found this place by so many recommendations from other people, it’s truly amazing. The best I’ve ever had!Sayra helped me and she was so so sweet!!!“
“The place is pretty small, more of a takeout style since there are only 2 stools alongside the narrow counter. I ordered the traditional chimi chimi minus the mayonnaise since I just hate mayonnaise. The sandwich comes with the beef patty, pan de agua, green tomatoes, and white cabbage, and the sauce is a mix of mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard and hot sauce. I got the homemade tamarind juice to drink. The chimi was pretty good, I loved that they really kept it traditional with the green tomatoes and white cabbage. The sauce mixture was very good. The meat itself was a bit dry and lacked flavor so you definitely need the sauce to up the flavor. The tamarind juice was absolutely delicious and tasted, just like how they make it in DR. The fried cheese balls were just ok. We also ordered the beef empanadas, which were probably my favorite item along with the delicious green sauce. The service was great. I would definitely recommend if you're in the area and want to eat chimis.“
“This is a classic Dominican spot in the LES. I’ve been here on multiple occasions and the food is always on point. I got me the El Dominicano Sandwich and it was amazing. The bread was good. I like how they had the maduros in the sandwich. The queso frito added that salty cheesy taste. Pickled onions added that pickly taste and the sauce topped it off. Great sandwich. The pork was tough when I had it but I still enjoyed the sandwich and would definitely come back. @jefeeatsss“
“As a Latina, i can say the following statement: THE BEST EMPANADAS IN THE CITY. So delicious, they even have their name branded on the dough. Just, so creative with the fillings. I got the shrimp and guava/cheese empanadas and I had to order more. Please come in here and try them out. You will not be disappointed !!!!!!“
“I went for first time as recommendation. I am looking for a place that has good food where I can order trays for a party. The staff was helpful and during a busy time which seems like it always is for them. They were able to get my order (sampling the food options) put together quickly. I will definitely be placing my party trays with them for my upcoming event. The food I ordered to sample was great and tastes home made.“
“The Food at Brisas Del Mar is in Far Rockaway the food looked absolutely delicious there were some good choices to choose from that was on their menu and the service was good I was taken care right away and the price was good for what I picked out I would go again when I get the chance check them out if you're in the area ???“
“The food was absolutely delicious. We waited at least 1 hour for them to tell us they didn't have pernil or oxtail. But the churasco steak was delicious. And they made up for this by giving us delicious empanadas and dessert on the house.“
“Food tastes as if my grandmother was in their kitchen whipping up amazing food. I have yet to experience anything that wasn’t absolutely delicious. Ribs, pernil, Chicharrón, seafood, beans, soups, desserts, the list can go on. Make your way here, you won’t be disappointed!“
“I’ve been going to Rossy’s for years. Her food is authentic and delicious. I recently got a Dominican cake for a birthday and it’s honestly my favorite. It’s half guava and half crema. She does an amazing job making Dominican cake. I also got a cheese and chicken empanada which was perfectly seasoned and cooked. I’ve ordered food from her countless times and it’s always delicious and affordable priced.“
“This place is super convenient. But let's talk about the most important thing. The FOOD! I have had food here a few times and it never disappoints. Today I tried the Mangu. Absolutely delicious. The service is great. A small family run store that has all the necessities you need. A true gem. ?Kid-friendliness: I went in with a stroller and had no problem. The place is not too big however there is plenty of space in the entrance for that.“
“So happy to have found this Spanish food place. Been here twice... both times the food was fresh and delish. Baked chicken was well seasoned and juicy but my favorite will always be ox tail. They did not disappoint. Not the friendliest service but fast and efficient.“
“Got a crazy craving for Dominican food this morning, ordered their Tres Golpes, SonCocho, with rice and , pollo empanadas, bottom line, very delicious. Didn’t disappoint, I felt like I was in heaven. Will definitely order again in the future. Thank you so much ?“
“I saw they offered catering and I set up 10 food trays with them which they efficiently provided at the exact time I needed it.The food is delicious and I must say the pernil and fried chicken bites are a must!I couldn’t have asked for a better caterer , 5/5 hands down .“
“This is the best places to have a great time! I will definitely give all my money to Lugo he is such a people person all business owner should learned from him!!!!!! 15 years ain’t nothing you have a long way to go we love you♥️♥️♥️♥️“
“Tropical Sensation Restaurant came on the UWS scene around 15 years ago and has proven itself to be neighborhood stalwart serving up delicious Dominican, Latin/Caribbean Cuisine. I haven't had a bad meal yet, and I regularly visit for Lunch or Dinner. The hospitality is always warm, friendly and welcoming. The portions are also generous. Check them out!“
“I am giving 5 stars because the food was delicious although for the price $15.95 for a 1 meat plate the amount that is given is not worth it. It comes in a 3 section divided plate. I ordered the Pernil with white rice and red beans. The amount of Pernil was disappointing and the beans that came in a small container were mostly caldo (sauce) with very few beans, however, they were delicious. I wish there was more. There was lots of white rice which was very tasty and everything together was really very good and seasoned quite well. I also ordered cheese empanadas that were also very good. Not greasy and very crispy. I don’t know if I’d order again because the price with delivery, fees and tip is not worth it for the small amount given. Maybe if I’m in the neighborhood and drop in because the food is well made.“
“Omg I have eaten lots of ribs in my years, but p&c spanish restaurant knock it out of the park and then some, the ribs so tender and it tasted like you are actually eating a pernil from old school cook, please don't ever change it I love it the best I ever ate,Kid-friendliness: They are friendly with everyone.“
“Brunch Buddies had brunch on Sunday. The food was delicious, the oxtail is the best , meat fell off the bone and that gravy ,so yummy. The portions are just right. Try the green beans we ordered for the table and we all loved it. Staff is friendly and attentive and the wait for the food was very short. .“
“This place is amazing! Super friendly service, delicious smoothies and some of the best prices for fresh smoothies and juices in the area. Very generous sizes too!Dietary restrictions: They have almond milk, coconut milk and coconut water for smoothies. Vegan friendly!“
“The food here is hands down the best “Spanish” Dominican style food in Brooklyn!!! Everything is always fresh! Nice and hot! And free flavors will blow you away! The staff? Well the staff and service make you feel right at home. My favorite neighborhood spot. Try the steak and onions with rice and beans and a side salad or maybe even the Sancocho!! Honestly I can’t just choose one dish. They’re all delicious. Thank me later!!Parking: It’s street meter parking on the actual avenue … But you do get lucky and Side streets are free.Kid-friendliness: Yes it is.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes it is.“
“I love their food, I usually ask for pick up/delivery as this place is definitely where they know how to spice the rotisserie chicken & the red beans perfectly! Literally when I have people order from any where else, I can tell they didn't order from here!!“
“This place is definitely serving the community with delicious food at low prices! The pork chop over rice and fried chicken/baked chicken over rice were $8 each! It also came with beans and a fair amount of food. I think the smaller plates are $5, so wow - what a deal! It's worth the visit, so please support this man!“
“This is one of my favorite hidden secrets in NYC! Tucked in a loading bay for a building, the owners prepare delicious Ecuadorian food at unbeatable prices. The food is all prepared same day so the place smells fantastic. They give huge portions, and sometimes they throw in a fresh fried plantain for regulars! Their hot sauce is NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART. If you talk to Tony, the owner, in advance sometimes you can buy a bottle, but it's free when you put it on the food you ordered and also made fresh daily. It's the best deal in midtown. (Owned and operated by a great family who always remember me whenever I come in for lunch. This place is lunch only- come early because they sell out fast!“
“Zoralie Restaurant in Manhattan, New York offers decent food at reasonable prices, especially considering the location. However, its drawback lies in its lack of accommodation for non-Spanish-speaking customers. The staff's inability to communicate in English can be off-putting for some patrons. Fortunately, during my visit, another customer kindly helped translate, which greatly assisted me. Despite this language barrier hiccup, the overall dining experience was satisfactory, thanks to the helpfulness of fellow diners.“
“(Translated by Google) Good flavor, very friendly and helpful staff, parking available and easily accessible. Thank you for your good attentions.(Original)Buen sazon, personal muy amable y servicial, parqueo disponible y de facil acceso. Gracias por sus buenas atenciones.“
“My girlfriend and I were suppose to go to Ihop and for some reason found by this place. Upon entering, we saw all the selection of what we can order. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. My girl had a yuca and eggs combo while i had a Italian combo sandwich. The food had great flavor byt the best was the coffee .I would definitely recommend this place and I'll be coming back. This definitely was a better breakfast option than Ihop .“
“This is it. THE spot for mofongo and chicharrones! Both were moist and flavorful. I was crying inside as I tasted the first few bites knowing I'll be back again and again. Friendly and welcoming service too! Will be back soon to try the other items“
“Absolutely delicious. It should be noted that this is actually Buen Sabor, the Dominican place on metropolitan. Not sure why the name is different. Anyway, my husband and I get Tres Golpes breakfast from here often. they cook everything fresh and it's always delicious. The tostones were great too. I've ordered mango juice and lemonade and both seem to be made from scratch based on the taste and color. I would highly recommend if you like Latin food!“
“My favorite spanish food restaurant. Food is delicious, service is excellent, alcoholic drinks to die for, as soon as you walk in u are costeously greeted! We always go mid afternoon because we go with our little one but if u go late afternoon-night u will find the adult astmosphere u r looking for. Ppl say the restaurant is pricy but to me is worth it, the food quantity is great and delicious, can't order appetizers bc if i do i wont b able to finish my food. Overall go try it u wont regret. Esther is very nice and corteous, they all are but Esther is my #1 girl“
“I have to admit, Mary's Restaurant was truly fabulous. Great ambiance, clean and friendly service. Everything tasted fresh and was very good! The crew was magnificent, literally every one. Mary's Restaurant... Go there, if you can.“
“Amazing food! Excellent service! Outstanding juice bar!!! We had the Moro and ribs and chicken cutlet… yellow rice and beans and pastelon… delicioso!!! Please go here!!! I highly recommend this place… wow!! By the way….. the prices are great!“
“Take me to a place where I can have a delicious home-cooked meal! This Dominican restaurant is where it's at! Whenever I visit them, I'm never disappointed as their dishes are always bussin with flavor. Don't forget to try their sancocho and pair it with A Presidente beer!“
“I don’t know what people are talking about ! The food service was amazing the food was fresh and did not feel out of place.Being a person of color I felt comfortable going in and trying Dominican delicacies. Y’all stop lying ! That might have been the previous owner but this place is under new management!Came all the way from melrose in the BX, this place is 100%“
“(Translated by Google) I recommend this very good place, good service, a unique atmosphere, quite cool music and where you will spend an unforgettable moment, it makes a difference …(Original)Recomiendo este lugar muy bueno , buen servicio ,un ambiente único, una música bastante cool y donde pasarás momento inolvidable, marca la diferencia …“
“I knew this place was going to be good — I love hole in the wall joints. And boy, was I right. The food was on point, the price cannot be beat, and Anthony, my server, was delightful.5/5 across the board and definitey will be returning!“
“There were lots of cars outside which I knew was a good sign! It's a very casual Dominican takeout spot near La Guardia Airport and a friend and I were looking for a quick breakfast. They had pre-made food at a hot bar behind the counter. Staff was friendly and we were served quickly. Food was hot and delicious!“
“My parents and I lived very close to here, so being raised in Ridgewood at the time, this became our favorite spot to hang out and eat. This restaurant is special, of course because the food is excellent and the boss is so friendly, but because my mother loved it. The owner and my mom were very close, so when a family event was taking place, we didn't need to ask where we were going. The last time my family was here with my mom was on her birthday, and now she is no longer with us. Sentimental isn't just a word for us when we visit here, but meaningful is what every lunch and dinner means to us now when we visit, although my mother is gone. I'd recommend this place to anyone who is curious to try some American, and spanish food. To build memories, or to learn to treasure them here is a place to begin. God bless you.“
“Came in around 7 on a Friday night. Found parking s few blocks away. I’m not naive. I know it’s Brooklyn but the walk from the car to the spot was sketchy. Some kids aimed a colorful nerf/ water gun at me. I didn’t like that. But once inside all the riffraff of the block is forgotten. The lightning, the murals, and the decor have a really nice vibe. They had some music playing and the ambiance was chill. There was one other table occupied at the time and the space was nice and open with a spot in the back for live music I’m assuming. The service was good. Our waitress was attentive and helped us with suggestions. She was able to accommodate our little side requests and chances to the menu.I order the fish tacos and the corn on the cob. I had the sangria/margarita drink which was super overpriced but good. The fish tacos were good not out of this world but a good size with a good amount of fish. I added some hot sauce and it hit the spot. The corn was flavorful and tasty. It was cut up into 3 pieces. My friend ordered the fried fish entree with a seafood crème sauce and substituted the rice for beans. Along with the montaditos (one beef, one chicken, and one veggie) and the passion fruit fizz for drinks. It was a good portion of food. She had lots to take home. It had oysters and crawfish. The sauce was delicious. The drink was strong and tasty. This spot was good. In the area, I’d def come back. There wasn’t a happy hour for Friday but other days sound good.“
“Owners are super nice. They care about people individually and always polite. Very clean establishment. For the price the portions are a nice size. The fresh juice options are endless. The large is a full meal in itself. Always a pleasure stopping in. Parking is tricky, but they are quick with service so double parking is a norm.“
“Although I didn't no much of the food selection, there were plenty of options to choose from and mix and match... the best part all at an affordable price point. I left with two platers completely full with a mix of rice, veggies, meats all for less than $19“
“By coming here, you put aside all snobby expectations and your mission is only to have some real bomb @ss food. Bro I cannot put into words how good and real it is. Both kinds of alcapurria here (banana and yuka) to start and follow with anything else. The ladys are nice but try to know some Spanish.“
“This is a Dominican diner. Imagine an old time diner with 2 Hispanic aunties (tias) serving. They make a really good breakfast. Longganisa and chorizo (latin sausages) are a must. They have warming trays with plantain bananas mashed like potatoes, boiled cassava and onions. They also have chicken chicharon and breaded fried steak (think chicken fried steak) at lunch and dinner. I will come back to do that. Yes there's loud music and modest Spanish will make ordering a lot easier. I'll post an old menu, prices are up 15-20%“
“for my own experience personally, their food is really good especially their baked chicken is fire and they give you a decent amount of food for the price. oh yeah and you must try the chicken empanadas I live across the street so I always go and pick up my food so I know that my Oder is being made properly other then that love it“
“Walked in for the first time today, and let me tell you the food options are great. I was treated with a smile and the staff was kind in explaining the portions , prices and food options. I took my order (Ox tail and arroz con gandules) to go. But once I got home and took that first bite (Aww Mann), I instantly knew this was only the beginning of many more food orders to come.As of now I highly recommend this place.Note: this is more of a takeout spot as they only have 2 tables.“
