Wonderful cuisine service is excellent
Very tasty. Muy bueno, buena suerte Chimitos!!!
Great local chimi spot with real, homemade flavor — you can tell they put love into every plate. Staff are super friendly and welcoming, and the outdoor seating made it easy to bring my dog along. Feels like a true neighborhood gem. Highly recommend!

Chimito's is a Dominican takeout restaurant known for serving authentic and delicious dishes. The menu features large portions and good value, including pinchos de pollo/chicken kebabs and yuca and cheese empanadas. The chimi chimi sandwich is a standout favorite, with the traditional chimi being praised as one of the best in New York, closely resembling the flavors from the Dominican Republic. The restaurant is recognized for its fresh ingredients and excellent customer service, with many customers enjoying the friendly atmosphere and support for small business. The food is made fresh, often requiring a call 15-20 minutes ahead, and the sandwiches are enjoyed with Chinola (Passion Fruit) juice or Chinola con Avena (Passion Fruit + Oats) juice. The restaurant offers a variety of Chimi options such as Chimi de Muslo, Chimi Chon, and Chimi Al Pastor, with the Chimi Chon (roasted pork leg) being particularly flavorful and satisfying. Customers also enjoy the small fries and appreciate the absence of grease in the dishes. With a clean and welcoming atmosphere, Chimito's remains a popular spot for those craving Dominican cuisine. There is a dominoes tournament often happening outside, adding to the vibrant cultural experience. Parking is available on the side in front of the school.
