The place is pretty small, more of a takeout style since there are only 2 stools alongside the narrow counter. I ordered the traditional chimi chimi minus the mayonnaise since I just hate mayonnaise. The sandwich comes with the beef patty, pan de agua, green tomatoes, and white cabbage, and the sauce is a mix of mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard and hot sauce. I got the homemade tamarind juice to drink. The chimi was pretty good, I loved that they really kept it traditional with the green tomatoes and white cabbage. The sauce mixture was very good. The meat itself was a bit dry and lacked flavor so you definitely need the sauce to up the flavor. The tamarind juice was absolutely delicious and tasted, just like how they make it in DR. The fried cheese balls were just ok. We also ordered the beef empanadas, which were probably my favorite item along with the delicious green sauce. The service was great. I would definitely recommend if you're in the area and want to eat chimis.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would ! Aside from their low rating on door dash and bad reviews on here (mystery meat). I placed an order on door dash the dasher stole it after more than 1 hour, never dropped it off. Door dash support automatically refunded me the money. Really wanted to try out this place so I reorder everything the same and more. The store cancels my order after “preparation”. The most unbelievable thing ever from how long they took to cancel and refuse an order etc. I lost whatever curiosity I had to try out this mid place. Chimi express isn’t all that but compared to this small business it’s amazing and I say from quality presentation they provide that this place lacks just go over there for chimi and yaroa taste real good too! Should’ve placed my order there as always. DISAPPOINTING!!!

Don't even come close, it's horrible. My husband ordered two chimis. After more than an hour, they only delivered one and it was super horrible. We even threw in stale bread and almost nothing inside. Then he asked for an empanada and this was the result... empty without shape.

I really wanted to like it and support a new local Dominican joint, but what I got was subpar. I ordered from Grubhub and i got a pastelito de pollo and a Yaroa de papas y pollo. The Pastelito was tasty and hot which I enjoyed. However the Yaroa didn’t have any flavor, the meat wasn’t seasoned at all and barely any fries just meat.I was so excited to eat it and I was hungry and unfortunately I had to throw it out (13$). Next time I’m just gunna stick to what they are known for…. Their chimis and give it another shot.
