“Came in for breakfast. I got the mangu tres golpes and a morir soñando. The bev was cold and sweet just like it's supposed to be. Mangu hit, plenty of plantains, but only 2 pieces of fried salami and cheese. 2 eggs also and not a whole lot of pickled onions. Still bangin though.“
“Chicharron de pollo with the bone is SO GOOD. Well cooked and juicy. Beans are well seasoned and delicious. Love the rice. It reminds me of my abuela’s cooking. I usually don’t love Dominican take out (it’s usually not like the real thing in my opinion!!) but I’m glad I tried this place because it tastes very authentic! I’ve ordered from here 3-4 times on Uber Eats and will be ordering again!“
“Wanted to try something new and stumbled upon this place. The environment is warm, friendly, and aesthetically pleasing. Staff are polite and sweet. As someone who isn't vegan, I was pleasantly surprised by the flavorful and delicious food; it's hard to believe it's all vegan. I would definitely return to Next Stop Vegan again.“
“I mean, first off I'd like to say, if you're coming here, you MUST order the Picadera sampler. I mean, I think about it from time to time and this is what keeps me coming back. The ambiance is good and wait staff is wonderful. I don't love the Ala carte pricing as others have said but the food is great and the vibes are good so worth going on a nice date night or dinner with friends.“
“Some of the most tender chicharrones I've ever had. I wanted to try their beef ribs but unfortunately they were out of stock when we got there. We went on a Saturday night and they played live Latin music so the overall ambiance was dope. I will be back to try the beef ribs. The pork ribs were seasoned and tender to perfection. Cool spot for BBQ lovers!!!“
“We staying next door at the Muse and I walked the 20 steps to Margon to get a cafe con leche and tostada cubana. I was blown away. As born and raised Miamian, I can honestly tell you that the best cafe con leche is found at Margon in Manhattan. Hands down. And the ambiance reminds me of the old-school cafeterias and bakeries my grandfather and dad would take me to as a little girl. Keep doing what you’re doing .. loads of blessings and suerte, your way!“
“First off the staff are amazing - warm and friendly. Like you just walked into someone’s home. They patiently guided us through the menu, and brought out frozen glasses with our perfectly chilled beer. Ordered the chicken and pork stews with a side of plantains, everything was delicious. Almost made 5 stars - could have been slightly less salty and it would’ve!“
“Delicious and fabulous service! The service workers recommended the passion fruit tres leches and it was fabulous; the passion fruit layer added some tartness to the otherwise sweet cake.Out of abundant generosity they also gifted me a piece of their traditional tres leches cake. It was also delicious but definitely more sweet, without the fruit layer. Recommended with coffee!“
“I'm so glad I went here last night with my wife. It looks like they've changed their name to My Jarabacoa, and that's OK, 'cuz I don't even know what Jarabacoa is. Yes, the interior of the place is bland... I saw another reviewer complaining about this. The walls are covered with a deteriorating coat of brown paint... but the costillas is so awesome, I won't hold it against them. Hell... the men's bathroom was clean. What can I say? I'll take the crappy brown paint any day of the week when you're serving up a nice, thick Sancocho like the one we just had. The waitress was phenomenal for this place, too. Very personable, never rushing us, but efficient and just wanting to please. I also had a Shrimp Salad, and while they ran out of Romaine lettuce and sub'd it with Iceberg lettuce, they've got a good dressing and I enjoyed it. I don't live close by, but I'd definitely go back!“
