“this is the best Dominican restaurant In New Jersey the food is always good, I moved to NJ from NYC summer 2022 and was looking for a authentic Dominican homemade style restaurant and after trying different places and different restaurants went to many different cities I saw a tiktok suggestion of this place went on a drive because let me tell you it is a 25 min to go and 25 to come back but the mofongos and yaroas are worth it, you also should try their Plato del dia la ensalada mixta is a most, other than that the place is always clean and the people is very friendly, i love it!!“
“I live in the area and happened to walk by this place on the way to another but decided to detour. Boy was I surprised and happy with my decision! I ordered chicken tostadas (you get 4!), chicken chilaquiles, queso empanadas and fries. Everything was delish! The salsa verde on the chilaquiles was so tasty and the chicken was so flavorful! The portions were generous and the staff was incredibly nice. This is definitely going in my rotation of take out places!“
“NO JOKE! The best empanada I've ever had!!!Its golden, flaky pastry shell was perfectly crisp. The filling itself was chock’full of seasoned meats, onions, and a hint of spice. Every bite was a burst of savory goodness, making it a memorable and must-try treat for anyone seeking an exceptional empanada.Vegetarian options: Cheese all day! Plenty of options for vegetarians.Kid-friendliness: Some of the nicest people in the world run this store. They are friendly and what kid DOESN’T like empanadas????!!!!!“

Definitely recommend that they get tiramisu or batchThis is also my favorite place! They are always very nice and kind to me and treat me very well! “I want to get the bad out of the way first. I do feel the prices are a bit on the expensive side by a few bucks, especially for a local restaurant. They charge NYC prices. They should also make sure the menu prices match what they charge. I was going to take a star away for the price but what I write next will explain why I didn't.The food here is absolutely delicious. I have come here for breakfast and dinner and I am never disappointed in the food. The people that work here also seem very nice. I've never had issues with the service. The ladies here seem like they are in a good mood and they are working hard. All their food is good but I want to put my focus on their beans. I am a bean loving Puerto Rican and if you are a Latino restaurant that sells beans...they better be good. Well, this place has great beans. I appreciate the flavor and consistency of the beans. There are places that give you watery or watered down beans and it is a practice that I look down on because these places don't respect the details of the beans. As for my favorite dish, I am a simple guy and I enjoy their breaded chicken with rice and beans. I will also say that their version of arroz moro is absolutely great. So yes it is a bit more expensive but the richness of the food and the portions that you get will certainly make it more palatable. For this reason, I did not take a star away.“
“We showed up on a Monday night, unaware that they close at 8:30. But Leo totally took care of us. The steam trays out front were almost empty, but he asked us what we like, and he pulled a few delicious dishes together. Beef stew was tender and flavorful. Grilled shrimp with avocado and rice was perfect. Love that seasoning. And the fried chicken for my son was super delicious (I snuck a bite). Thank you Leo, we were very satisfied!!Kid-friendliness: My 10 year old ordered fried chicken with steamed rice and he loved it!“
“Place is small and there is never really any parking - so that's the reason for less than 5 starts on atmosphere and overall. But their food is truly delicious and authentic. Simple, basic, fresh and tasty. If you want good chicharron or mangu, this is one of the best places.Parking: Very difficult. Most of the time I park in their loading zone and just pickup.“
“I don’t usually like Dominican food, but this place makes it so well that I just keep ordering food from here when I have days off from work. The prices are fantastic and they always give you more than enough food, if you want to get a lot of food for not so much money come here, the food is delicious.“
