“I thoroughly enjoy my meals at this restaurant. they provide a good quantity of food and the flavors are great. They make amazing rice and beans too. the staff is always super nice and service is fast. Definitely a go-to for Mexican food in my area.“
“The mole poblano is divine. Mushroom quesadillas with blue tortillas are so fragrant and memorable. Birria is always a pleaser. Plus their salsas. The quality of their tortillas is unforgettable—fresh, floury, colorful. Love the interior decor. Will definitely return when in the area. Also, don’t forget to keep a lookout for the cute neighborhood cats (outside the shop down the block).“
“Recently tried this spot when I was ordering from Uber Eats on a Friday night. I decided I wanted a burrito and ended up ordering from here because the reviews looked great. I got a chicken burrito and enjoyed it, the prices are also amazing for the portion and size of the burrito.“
“The food here is delicious, authentic, and well priced. Their Mexican style tacos are really good but it’s the nachos that does it for me. I’m not a nachos type of girl but my boyfriend and I got it one time to try and added steak and it was DELICIOUS. The cheese sauce is everything. Now I get it every time I go. I dream about those nachos lol!“
“My husband and I wanted a quick and simple dinner after traveling all day. We searched online, read some articles, and found out that this place was super close by so we went. The service is impeccable and quick. Our server was very kind and patient as we ordered. Though parts of the menu is in Spanish and the server does speak mostly Spanish, he was still quite caring about getting our order correct. My husband got the chicken burrito and he liked it but wasn't full. He ended up ordering some carnitas tacos which came with 3 larger tacos. I also got the birria tacos with cheese and they were delicious! We ordered the mango agua fresca and I got the champurrado. Both were delicious and were served immediately after the order was placed.Nice little shop with limited amount of seating, but it definitely feels like a small business who really care about their customers. Highly recommend if you want a quick meal!Dietary restrictions: You can request a lot of the dishes to not have cheese.“
“Really nice authentic Mexican place. Pollo in the quesadillas was excellent - not a traditional quesadilla, but very good. Chorizo tacos were great, steak tacos were very good. Only downside - can’t mix and match tacos and no guacamole and chips.“
“I’ve been here three times and have sat in and also taken to go with my grandma and I can say the food is consistent. If you’re looking for a quiet place not the best option… they someone times have a live band which can be distracting if you’re trying to have a conversation. But if that’s what you’re looking for than it should work for you.“
“I recently went there with my family for Mexican brunch. I wasn’t expecting much. It’s a low-key hole in a wall kind of place — but creatively designed. I was blown away by the quality of food. All the sauces were really fresh. Rice was cooked to perfection. The flavors were very refined and the beans were perfect. Tacos were amazing too. I was disappointed by the waffles (but it’s not a waffle place). The cafe con leche was amazing too. The flavors are better than Charittos (which is 5 times more expensive and always crowded). It’s hands down the best Mexican food I’ve had in the neighborhood.“
“I live in the area and happened to walk by this place on the way to another but decided to detour. Boy was I surprised and happy with my decision! I ordered chicken tostadas (you get 4!), chicken chilaquiles, queso empanadas and fries. Everything was delish! The salsa verde on the chilaquiles was so tasty and the chicken was so flavorful! The portions were generous and the staff was incredibly nice. This is definitely going in my rotation of take out places!“
“I could have eaten here every day lol!!! The asada burrito was excellent, and my wife's meal was really good too (she gave me some which I happily accepted ?). Great service, reasonable prices and a nice place to enjoy a meal and even the game.“
“The food I ordered met my expectations. I would definitely come back again. Our server was lovely. But I have to say don’t stare too hard at the chairs ? the seats and chairs looked very worn. If I was the owner I would definitely change them all out for new ones.“
“One of my favorite, authentic Mexican, restaurants in Union City. Good food and plenty of it, at very reasonable prices. Service is fast and the people friendly. They seem to serve their customers with pleasure. The place is small and there's normally only one server, but "Efficiency" is her middle name. Don't forget to leave a generous tip because they don't demand one and they won't hold it against you if you don't leave a penny. Please be proactive with your tip. We need businesses like el Mole Poblano to stay successful.“
“Way better than going to Taco Bell. Food us very tasty and fresh made. Their Birrias steak is really good and tasty. The also serve mexican sodas.Parking: Its situated across the street from a fire house. Its all street parking. Better to walk or take some firm of vehicle serviceWheelchair accessibility: Ground level with good wheelchair access“
“How do I explain it to them? It's like eating at my Grandma's house again, everything is delicious! I am a Mexican who has eaten at other Mexican food places and God this place is the #1 MERO MERO in New Jersey BLESSINGS and MAY IT REMAIN MANY MORE YEARSKid-friendliness: There is a menu for kids ?“
“This place has such good food. Their baleadas are very flavorful and rich. Their churrasco was juicy and accompanied well by the rice and beans. That dish was a little pricey though compared to other places. Oh and the pupusas are so good here. Some of the best I've had.“
“If you good old Spanish home cooking this is the spot...no one has better seasoning than this place..everything...everything...everything taste good. This is not for a place for small children ..this is for adult atmosphere...nothing negative...but is just not a place for small kids... other than that...is perfect“
“Singlehandedly one of the greatest hispanic restaurants in the greater NYC metro area. I was brought to tears when the juices of the pernil corressed the inside of my mouth. I couldn't do anything besides drop down to my knees and honor those who took the time to make it“
“This was a last minute decision to eat here and I can say, this was way better than the original place I was going. I enjoyed the dishes served and the portions were even better. But also, the prices were very reasonable and affordable and not to mention that the food was prepared in front of us as the open kitchen was there. Meaning, they are showing that their food is fresh. I personally had the tacos and nachos which were both very delicious. I do indeed recommend this place for a quick munch and will be coming back. I have inserted photos of the Tacos Bistec, Tostadas. Enchiladas Verdes, and Nachos.“
“I don’t usually like Dominican food, but this place makes it so well that I just keep ordering food from here when I have days off from work. The prices are fantastic and they always give you more than enough food, if you want to get a lot of food for not so much money come here, the food is delicious.“
“We enjoyed the food and amazing service here. The ambiance is cozy and perfect if you’re going in a date night. Also this is a BYOB place so you can get your own bottle. The Guac & chips were fresh and delicious. The tacos were good too.We also tried a new dish - Salta Patras Ceviche and it was delicious.Special mentioned to the Tres leches which wasn’t over sweet.Definitely try out this place. It deserves more spotlight.“
