“I was born in Mexico City and have been living in NYC for a decade. I’m always searching for flavors that take me back home. I’ve had tacos all over Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens, and my search has finally ended with the flavors of the suadero tacos, al pastor tacos, the guacamole, the homemade salsas and the agua de Jamaica.

The cabeza and lengua tacos especially take me back to Sunday afternoons with my family.

I had an incredible dining experience and Fuego easily one of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve been to in long time. We had a few different entrees chicken taco and the steak with avocado tomato and fries. It’s a great vibe with joselin and excellent server. Parking was pretty easy, and very welcoming. Definitely my place for Mexican food from now on.“

We went there on a Saturday night and tried six different type of meats, all flavorful and melting in the mouth, with a special mention for the crispy pork belly. “My first visit to King of Meat
at a friend’s recommendation. Our waiter Rowin was attentive, accommodating and made the experience delightful. We came at 6:30pm on a Friday and was surprised they had a reduced price “happy hour” for Margaritas and beer til 7.
We ordered the cheesy dip with bacon bits and chips as an appetizer and it was DELICIOUS!!! For dinner we had the smash burger and quesadilla with steak and mushrooms. Both were yummy. They have a good drink menu, though not too many wine choices. In addition to Rowin, I appreciated the attentiveness of the owner who stopped by as well as the bartender who made sure to greet us coming and going. I will definitely return.“

“It was a surprise to find this little restaurant in Harlem. There were no tables, and we took the last two seats at the bar. While we waited, I surprisingly felt at home. The aroma of the food, the care with which Karina prepared each of the dishes, and the kindness and joy they served us. By the time our table was ready, we didn't want to take it anymore; we ate much more than we planned to order because we didn't want to miss out on their delicious food. I have dietary restrictions, and I was surprised to see that everything from the exquisite tortillas to the delicious tres leches dessert was prepared right there, gluten-free and preservative-free. “We had an incredible meal here. The food was delicious, the service was fast and friendly, and the ambiance was very enjoyable. The space was decorated in a very fun and festive way which makes it a little bit of an escape from the city. The ribeye tacos were delicious and were half off because of the Friday special. The plantains are also a must have side. They have frozen margaritas in rotating flavors and the mago one was delicious. We ended the meal with some churros and dipping sauces and left full and happy.“

After looking at many places on Columbus that just didn’t thrill us, we were SO happy to find the incredibly delicious Mexican cuisine at Nina’s last night I had the Cochinita Pibil (with an orange habanero salsa on the side that will let you know who’s boss…) and my old friend had Enchiladas Mole with chicken. Excellent and authentic food with warm, friendly staff, and a great bar selection with many tequilas. Nina’s is great! Reasonable too! Glad to give credit where it’s due to this 7mo old establishment that I hope stays for many years! Will return for more!“

“I couldn’t get a picture of anyone’s food since we all dug in right away but the food here is amazing! We had their Birria tacos, a steak meal and a steak fajitas meal—chef’s kiss! They were very kind, welcoming and family oriented here. The place is small, I will say, it’s way smaller than I expected but nonetheless, we were quickly seated and the music was good the entire time. This was a memorable experience , thank you!“

However, the seating is quite limited and not very comfortable. If you live close enough that your tacos won't get cold on the way, I’d highly recommend ordering takeout instead.“
