And loved that they had so many hot sauces to try on the table. Service was slightly slow but staff was friendly.“

“I’ve been coming to this small business for about 3/4 years now and although it’s just a taco truck I know enough that all I have to do is pick up my order and eat it at my house or enjoy it with my partner at the nearby park. I’m not gonna make a review about the “environment” of a taco truck and make them feel obligated to my seating needs for that I’ll just to a RESTAURANT it’s a perfect grab and go. The staff is very friendly and hard working people, for as busy as they get their customer service is consistently great. I want to mention how hard it is to find authentic AL PASTOR TACOS that are supposed to be made like how they make it here. The tortilla is always fresh, the meat is seasoned perfectly and you can tell by the color on the meat and the salsa verde is also perfect if you are into spicy fresh homemade salsa just the right texture not watery like others that I’ve had around the area.“

“El Ranchero is my favorite taqueria in the bayshore. The tacos are the best in the area and the mole is delicious. The food is fresh and the service is fantastic. I recommend this to anyone! “We drove right past it but THANK GOD we were able to turn around and get to it the food was heavenly juicy hot and suuuuper tasty the cook we spoke with was amazingly patient as he could see we wanted the entire menu but didn’t know how to order it lol the man was a saint and got us exactly what we wanted we were in such disbelief that such amazing tacos came from such a small spot but it’s clearly a top shelf establishment and will continuously recommend this place“

“I had the steak burrito at the Piscataway location today and it did not disappoint. Excellent food and the nachos with Nutella are fire. They had so many fresh made salsa and bottled hot sauce to put on my burrito. I think I found my new Mexican spot. Can't wait to try more of the menu. Highly recommend. 10/10“

“Really great restaurant it just seems they always forget an item on uber eats. I visit Jersey city regularly and love eating at guac time but it’s literally Russian roulette with what they will forget lol. Last 3 times I ordered every time an item was forgotten.
Hope it does better with this!!!“

“Hands down the best Mexican restaurant in Jersey City. I’m from west Texas, so I’d say I have fairly high standards when it comes to Mexican food. I’ve been here several times and this place is top notch. The owner is very friendly and they have tons of options. I think this is Oaxacan-based cuisine so expect to find classics alongside more popular dishes. Try the tostadas with Cecina. You’ll be amazed.“

“I rarely give out 5 stars. I’m not a self-proclaimed NON-foodie. But this was absolutely fantastic.

The consommé was to die for - totally perfect. I’ve spent WAY more money in midtown (Amor Loco, rated 4.7 RIP) for Birria Tacos whose consommé was absolutely flavorless and super oily. This was had richness from bone broth or something. Totally satisfying and not overly salty either.

Idk why people sleep on actual good food and go wild for hypes.

“Taco Drive was excellent! The birria tacos were fresh, flavorful, and some of the best I’ve had. The meat was tender, and every bite was packed with flavor. The chips and guacamole were also delicious and tasted very fresh. Great food, friendly service, and a place I would definitely recommend to anyone craving authentic Mexican food. Definitely I will be coming back!!“

“This place thrives mainly on takeout but has a fully functional and pleasant dining space. The food here is very good with a large variety of options. I had tacos as appetizers, and fajitas as main course - all were delicious. Whatever my friends ordered was also very good. Service was good and attentive. The place is BYOB so that makes things convenient too. It's never crowded, so it's a nice quiet place to dine in. Would definitely go there and try out the rest of the menu.“

The authentic Mexican food from this local joint managed to impress us.. we tried the veggie burrito, cheese flautas and mushroom huraches.. each dish was better than the other. The sauces and compliments were yummy. This joint is mostly for take out because there was not much place to sit inside. We are definitely visiting again!

“Overall positive. Food was good and enjoyable. Sizable portions, which was wonderful. We did a pick up and it was ready promptly and quickly. The location was clean and well-maintained and staff was pleasant and nice to interact with.
My only qualm is that there was a small mistake with our order, where we wanted a side of salsa and received queso instead; not a huge issue, because it was still delicious and we were happy with it, but it was something that I hope the staff can be careful about in the future.“

“I ordered through Uber Eats and the tacos under the Mexican side of the menu were delicious as the tortillas were truly authentic as I've had from other places. I highly recommend the tacos with birria filling, as well as the Horchata drink which was delicious and had the right amount of taste and flavour. Look forward to trying out other items from here!“

“I don't say this about many places, but the fried chicken here is really good. Nice crispy exterior with a juicy interior. There are also so many menu options to choose from. Not to mention the buy 1 get one deal you can get if you order online. The customer service is also excellent. I can here so often we're on a first name basis.“

We ordered a couple of the burrito options (chorizo & steak). The burrito meals contain 2 burritos, but we were not prepared for 2 full size burritos…and at $15 per order it is a great deal.

The burritos were spot on, I loved my chorizo burrito. Was fairly greasy so you know it is legit. The chips and salsa were just average, the chips were pretty thin and not like Taqueria Downtown’s.

Would definitely recommend for a lunch or dinner option.“

“I went here to today to watch the Fifa Final Spain vs Argentina. I came here because the bar I was planning to go to had no seats left. I walked and saw the Fifa 2026 flags and headed in. I had and awesome experiece. I got a seat at the bar. I had a cold bottle of Modelo that was refreshing and the free basket of tortilla chips and salsa. It is clean. My bartender was amazing and there was a big screen for the game. The salsa was fresh and vibrant. Definatley will come back!!“

“Came here for lunch with my friends and was pleasantly surprised. Staff is super friendly. Small mom and pop shop pumping out amazing food. I got a torta and it was amazing. Soft bread and packed. It was a bit messy to eat but there was a lot in them. Salsa options were great as well. Green was my favorite. Great value. Will definitely come back to try more items.“
