“The pork chop was succulent and had the most amazing spice combination. The barbacoa was the best I have ever had. Not a fan of the mezcal, but I gave it a try. Other more common drinks looked great with a good pour. Good vibe and open late with a super friendly staff!“

What impressed us the most was the way Ronny treated my mom. He went out of his way to make sure she was happy and had everything she needed. His patience, positive attitude, and thoughtful way of helping made her feel special. My mom left Chevy’s with a big smile and kept talking about how wonderful Ronny was and how much she appreciated the way he treated us.
People like Ronny are what make a place stand out. He brings great energy, kindness, and dedication to his work, and it shows through the way he interacts with customers. “Best tacos in Jersey that I’ve had so far. We ordered chicken tacos Birria style and they were so good. The girl taking orders was really kind and helped us with our order and brought our food to the table. Their salsa verde is good too. $35 for 7 tacos and a jarrito.

Another star for being walking distance from the rock climbing gym right next door. So great for a good rock climbing sesh and great Mexican food after! Our waiters Yahir and Marilin were especially amazing! Great service and the food came out quick and hot. The horchata was especially good!“

Recently opened. I'll cut them some slack but the staff clearly are not trained well enough yet. Unorganized, broken burritos, confusion, bags not big enough, etc. Id wait a month or two until they are more trained.“

“I’ve been coming to this small business for about 3/4 years now and although it’s just a taco truck I know enough that all I have to do is pick up my order and eat it at my house or enjoy it with my partner at the nearby park. I’m not gonna make a review about the “environment” of a taco truck and make them feel obligated to my seating needs for that I’ll just to a RESTAURANT it’s a perfect grab and go. The staff is very friendly and hard working people, for as busy as they get their customer service is consistently great. I want to mention how hard it is to find authentic AL PASTOR TACOS that are supposed to be made like how they make it here. The tortilla is always fresh, the meat is seasoned perfectly and you can tell by the color on the meat and the salsa verde is also perfect if you are into spicy fresh homemade salsa just the right texture not watery like others that I’ve had around the area.“

Food was delicious and Enrique was awesome very hospitable made the whole experience even better.
Served hot and wait time was no more than 5-10min for our food.
To be completely transparent a bit on the pricier side but overall 8/10 all around.“

We had the tacos, regular bowl with carnitas and fajita bowl with steak and pina-mango drink. Food was very tasty and freshly made. Will come back to try El Pastor. “I was born in Mexico City and have been living in NYC for a decade. I’m always searching for flavors that take me back home. I’ve had tacos all over Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens, and my search has finally ended with the flavors of the suadero tacos, al pastor tacos, the guacamole, the homemade salsas and the agua de Jamaica.

The cabeza and lengua tacos especially take me back to Sunday afternoons with my family.

They had so many fresh made salsa and bottled hot sauce to put on my burrito. I think I found my new Mexican spot. Can't wait to try more of the menu. Highly recommend. 10/10“
