“Placed an order on the app, went to pick it up & there was a line at the drive thru but it moved quickly. Gave my name at the ordering speaker & drove to the window & they handed me our sodas but the food wasn't ready so they had us park & they brought our food 5 minutes later. I assume it was because my husband didn't want sour cream on anything so our order took a little longer since everything had to be made fresh. Everything was delicious & made correctly.“

“I am not a big taco fan but these tacos were sooo good. They put an avocado sauce on top that tastes fantastic. And they are prices are pretty average for most taco spots. I had the quesabirria tacos- delicious!! It’s so great to finally have an authentic and tasty taco spot in Garfield. And the staff was so sweet and friendly. They gave my friend and I rose for Valentine’s Day. I will definitely be back!! 🥰“

“I’ve been coming to this small business for about 3/4 years now and although it’s just a taco truck I know enough that all I have to do is pick up my order and eat it at my house or enjoy it with my partner at the nearby park. I’m not gonna make a review about the “environment” of a taco truck and make them feel obligated to my seating needs for that I’ll just to a RESTAURANT it’s a perfect grab and go. The staff is very friendly and hard working people, for as busy as they get their customer service is consistently great. I want to mention how hard it is to find authentic AL PASTOR TACOS that are supposed to be made like how they make it here. The tortilla is always fresh, the meat is seasoned perfectly and you can tell by the color on the meat and the salsa verde is also perfect if you are into spicy fresh homemade salsa just the right texture not watery like others that I’ve had around the area.“

“happy hour! The food was excellent — you can tell it’s made by someone with authentic Spanish roots. Plenty of parking and the drinks were solid. The guacamole was a bit too salty for our taste, but overall we enjoyed it. For a family of four to eat enough during happy hour, expect to spend around $120, which was the only downside for us. Still a very good experience!“

“Our first time going to the Totowa location (met up with friends for lunch). Staff was very friendly and helpful - we decided to eat outside and they brought the food to us quickly. We had the tacos, regular bowl with carnitas and fajita bowl with steak and pina-mango drink. Food was very tasty and freshly made. Will come back to try El Pastor. The La Exotica and La Consentida are my favorite menu items right now, but the tacos are also really good. I still need to try a lot of other things on the menu. The manager, the chef and the entire team are amazing people, super friendly and hard working. The kitchen, which is open to the dining area, is always immaculate. It reminds me of the really good hole in the wall restaurants I used to go to when I lived in Astoria, Queens. I cannot say enough good things about this spot... Recently opened. I'll cut them some slack but the staff clearly are not trained well enough yet. Unorganized, broken burritos, confusion, bags not big enough, etc. Id wait a month or two until they are more trained.“

“I live in the area and love trying out local restaurants, Taquerua La Casita did not disappoint. The atmosphere was great, wel lit and busy. Its a small place, but small places tend to be masters of their craft. I got two orders of tacos, tacos al pastor and tacos de costilla (recommended by the employee working he counter). Both were great, fresh and bold flavors. The pastor came with a slice of pineapple on top which was a nice touch. I really enjoyed the Verde sauce that came with the order. I will definitely return in the future. Thanks for the awesome food. I want to try every item on the menu 🙂“
