“What a delightful surprise tucked away in a lovely side street in Union City. On a dog walk in the neighborhood, I wandered by only to return that evening. This menu is by no means standard, it introduces elements of northern Mexican cuisine with nuanced flavors to deliver a sophisticated plate. The same attention given to the culinary side of things is repeated throughout what I like to define as Spanish bistro. The owner Yannin and her son Justin have imbued their space with original touches, hidden nooks and happy, unobtrusive music; altogether a lovely experience whether in company or alone. “Everything was good. The only complain i have is they give you only 90 min to eat and drink. After that time they just bring the check with out us asking and they refuse to keep serving you. They said they have others reservation and people waiting outside for your table. I think they should let you know when you do the table reservation or when you arrive to the place so you can have that on mind. We Drove 1 hr just to get there with a party of 6 and we were consuming all the time . So basically they kick us out.“

What impressed us the most was the way Ronny treated my mom. He went out of his way to make sure she was happy and had everything she needed. His patience, positive attitude, and thoughtful way of helping made her feel special. My mom left Chevy’s with a big smile and kept talking about how wonderful Ronny was and how much she appreciated the way he treated us.

“This place is a hidden gem! I’ve been coming here for over a year and every single time I have a great experience. The people are super nice, and friendly. You can really tell they like what they do. And the food.. It is always AMAZING, very flavorful, authentic, and portions are very generous. “TACOS DEL BARRIO CATERED MY WEDDING AND IT WAS THE BEST CHOICE EVER!! Aiden and his team were simply amazing to work with from start to finish. My wedding was on a boat, and the TDB team was so adaptable and logistically agile as they figured out how to load the food on and off the boat with ease. The tacos are simply unreal, so delicious, we had chicken birria, steak, fried shrimp, and veg tacos along with chips and guac galore. I highly recommend TDB for all of your big events and catering needs.“

“I’ve been coming to this small business for about 3/4 years now and although it’s just a taco truck I know enough that all I have to do is pick up my order and eat it at my house or enjoy it with my partner at the nearby park. I’m not gonna make a review about the “environment” of a taco truck and make them feel obligated to my seating needs for that I’ll just to a RESTAURANT it’s a perfect grab and go. The staff is very friendly and hard working people, for as busy as they get their customer service is consistently great. I want to mention how hard it is to find authentic AL PASTOR TACOS that are supposed to be made like how they make it here. The tortilla is always fresh, the meat is seasoned perfectly and you can tell by the color on the meat and the salsa verde is also perfect if you are into spicy fresh homemade salsa just the right texture not watery like others that I’ve had around the area.“

I congratulated her on the success of her business. Her husband and her opened this restaurant, and the one on 412 Broadway after many years of working at Hendricksons as a cook. It’s nice to see hard hard-working people become successful n keep their business local. Very inviting and friendly place. Great margaritas. Great ppl:) I also had the chorizo queso. It was delicious. But everything on the menu us. All in all had a nice experience:)“

“Our first time going to the Totowa location (met up with friends for lunch). Staff was very friendly and helpful - we decided to eat outside and they brought the food to us quickly. We had the tacos, regular bowl with carnitas and fajita bowl with steak and pina-mango drink. Food was very tasty and freshly made. Will come back to try El Pastor. Definitely recommend Sombrero Tacoria.“
