The food is very good, it transports me directly to Mexico. I ordered a chicken broth, delicious, homemade, exquisite! Also a plate of red enchiladas, with very good flavor, quantity and quality. The food is amazing, as are the drinks and the atmosphere. I will love this spot, always and forever. My only critique--and it is a very small one--is I wish they still provided two tortillas with each taco like they used to do back in the day. Nonetheless, I absolutely adore Taqueria Downtown, and I will keep coming back. And while the tacos are definitely the star of the show, don't sleep on their tortilla soup, tamales, or weekend brunch.

Cute little spot! Smaller, tightly packed seating. We had to wait on a Monday night at 8pm for approx 10-20mins for a seat by the bar.The lamb and pork tacos were good. Their hibiscus margarita was nice and refreshing.Cozy space and fun atmosphere :)
