My wife had foie gra mousse and I had the beet salad both were great, entree black bass and duck breast both cooked to perfection the dessert was wonders. Great attentive service. Had the pleasure of meeting the chef, Sadie and the gen. Manager Melanie, they could not have been more accommodating. I highly recommend, parking might be hard to find. I will return and soon, they are going to offer the foo gra in puff pastry, I go just for that. I found it reasonably priced. My wife enjoyed her 70th birthday meal as much as I did.”

Well, look no more for me. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here. Great rustic look, comfy seating with back support, loads of outlets for laptops, and the second-floor space are super cute and cozy too. Oh and there's a small little outside area that's pretty cool as well. Shaquille (hope I spelled it right) was AMAZING! So down-to-earth, friendly, polite, and easy to talk to. She made me the Tumeric latte for me and I all but licked the cup clean. I had the hummus & cucumber on sourdough toast and it was divine. Also, a great option for vegans. I totally recommend this place if you have similar needs or just want to hang out with some friends. I will surely be going back.”

We were relieved when they announced they were opening up in a much more appropriate and highly upgraded venue. This was perfect timing for us to celebrate our 9 year anniversary here. Upon arriving the inside captures the comfort and style of the Livingston location and then improves upon it with the beautiful outside seating area. Now onto the food which is just as good if not better than the original location im glad to see the quality has remained consistent. My steak was cooked to perfection and my wifes pasta dish was packed with quality flavor. The drink menu was definitely brought to the next level as well everything seemed like it was fine tuned and everything we tried was on point and had its own unique delicious flavor profile. Andy behind the bar was very knowledgeable and an absolute pleasure to talk to about the different cocktails. For dessert we shared the tiramisu which was great it wasn't youre traditional kind but we loved the spin they put on it with the cake and ice-cream. Lastly for service Jonathan took amazing care of us and made our special day very memorable along with the rest of the staff. Everyone that came by the table was professional and had a smile on their face. They all seemed happy and took pride in their work which was nice to see. We also ordered one of the Chef’s Specials, and you could really tell the care and authenticity that goes into the cooking here. Every dish felt thoughtfully prepared and different from the usual Chinese food you find around town.

The rolls are well made, with just the right balance of ingredients, not overloaded with rice like you find at some other sushi restaurants.
I've tried the spicy tuna roll, salmon roll, avocado roll, and the ramen, and they have yet to disappoint. I'm wishing them continued success because they've earned it.
I gave them three stars for the atmosphere only because of the bright, white lighting. It reminds me of the lights in a dentist's office. While the restaurant is clean and inviting, I personally prefer warmer lighting to create a cozier dining experience.
One more thing really stood out to me. One evening I called to place an order, but no one answered. I called a second time and assumed they must be closed. About two minutes later, they called me back! 😀 Thanks to that, I got to enjoy sushi that night.

All are delicious and I can't wait to return. The pizza is the best I've ever had - crispy but still foldable thin crust, flavorful sauce, and top quality mozzarella and EVOO. My waiter was kind and attentive, who informed me that Tino still comes in and does things like weeding the plants. He also said that they are terrific employers. There's a reason I'm a long standing customer and customers keep coming back. Mornings are extremely busy but they still get things done without dropping their customer service. The space itself is small and not very welcoming to all customers. Adding a staircase and a small rooftop terrace could make it a nicer spot for families to hang out. In all the food is great to try. Not only were the food and drinks delicious but the customer service was top tier! I wish we got the name of the individual who served us. I believe she was the owner. She took time to speak with us, made suggestions on what we could order (my husband loved the big Johnston breakfast), engaged with my toddler with kindness and playfulness which was so helpful after a long drive. “I recently bought the Earl Grey Tea and Berry Cornbread at my local Kroger store and was blown away! The richness and the flavor profiles were out of this world, especially the latter flavor of the two. It’s dangerous to know the Kroger store is only five minutes from my house. “Omg this place is awesome! I have never noticed it before but my toddler and I walked by and the smell drew us in. I ordered the spicy burger and a plain burger for my toddler. We had the plain fries and I swear they must be cut fresh. They were soooo good. The burger was amazing. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The service was also spectacular. I almost never post reviews but my whole experience was totally worth the few mins it took to post this. We will definitely be coming back!”

“Finally got a chance to try South of the Clouds, and it definitely lived up to the hype. The Crossing Bridge Noodles were such a unique experience—comforting, flavorful, and perfect for a rainy Jersey City evening. The Daihong Roast Chicken had just the right amount of spice and was packed with flavor, while the fried rice was simple but incredibly satisfying.
We also ordered one of the Chef’s Specials, and you could really tell the care and authenticity that goes into the cooking here. Every dish felt thoughtfully prepared and different from the usual Chinese food you find around town.
