My wife had foie gra mousse and I had the beet salad both were great, entree black bass and duck breast both cooked to perfection the dessert was wonders. Great attentive service. Had the pleasure of meeting the chef, Sadie and the gen. Manager Melanie, they could not have been more accommodating. I highly recommend, parking might be hard to find. I will return and soon, they are going to offer the foo gra in puff pastry, I go just for that. I found it reasonably priced. My wife enjoyed her 70th birthday meal as much as I did.”

I recently tried their tasting menu and was pleasantly impressed by the quality, creativity, and flavors of each course.
The Korean melon konguksu was the highlight of the meal for me. It was unique yet still felt authentic. The gochujang octopus romesco was also absolutely delicious!
Their desserts are great too. I especially love the injeolmi tart. It has the perfect balance of sweetness!”

Well, look no more for me. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here. Great rustic look, comfy seating with back support, loads of outlets for laptops, and the second-floor space are super cute and cozy too. Oh and there's a small little outside area that's pretty cool as well. Shaquille (hope I spelled it right) was AMAZING! So down-to-earth, friendly, polite, and easy to talk to. She made me the Tumeric latte for me and I all but licked the cup clean. I had the hummus & cucumber on sourdough toast and it was divine. Also, a great option for vegans. I totally recommend this place if you have similar needs or just want to hang out with some friends. I will surely be going back.”

The barister (coffee bar tender) took me on a beautiful adventure in a flight sampling of their cold brews. I've tasted coffee all over the US and a bit internationally and I've never tasted anything like this! (Apparently because I've never been to Japan) The Kyoto Japanese cold brew is a trip for your tastebuds. First a punch in the face then softly floral, herby, and a little funky with a sweet finish.
I had come for the masala chai which had been highly recommended and, let me tell you, I was not disappointed! DELICIOUS!
I was searching for breakfast when I walked in... and they do have muffins and pastries, but I opted for the City Hall roastbeef sandwich. Oh my was she a beauty! And yummy!

We were relieved when they announced they were opening up in a much more appropriate and highly upgraded venue. This was perfect timing for us to celebrate our 9 year anniversary here. Upon arriving the inside captures the comfort and style of the Livingston location and then improves upon it with the beautiful outside seating area. Now onto the food which is just as good if not better than the original location im glad to see the quality has remained consistent. My steak was cooked to perfection and my wifes pasta dish was packed with quality flavor. The drink menu was definitely brought to the next level as well everything seemed like it was fine tuned and everything we tried was on point and had its own unique delicious flavor profile. Andy behind the bar was very knowledgeable and an absolute pleasure to talk to about the different cocktails. For dessert we shared the tiramisu which was great it wasn't youre traditional kind but we loved the spin they put on it with the cake and ice-cream. Lastly for service Jonathan took amazing care of us and made our special day very memorable along with the rest of the staff. Everyone that came by the table was professional and had a smile on their face. They all seemed happy and took pride in their work which was nice to see. The Crossing Bridge Noodles were such a unique experience—comforting, flavorful, and perfect for a rainy Jersey City evening. The Daihong Roast Chicken had just the right amount of spice and was packed with flavor, while the fried rice was simple but incredibly satisfying.
We also ordered one of the Chef’s Specials, and you could really tell the care and authenticity that goes into the cooking here. Every dish felt thoughtfully prepared and different from the usual Chinese food you find around town.

“Since they opened, they have been consistently excellent. I truly hope they're around for many years to come. I've eaten here at least 20–30 times, and the sushi is always fresh. The rolls are well made, with just the right balance of ingredients, not overloaded with rice like you find at some other sushi restaurants.
I've tried the spicy tuna roll, salmon roll, avocado roll, and the ramen, and they have yet to disappoint. I'm wishing them continued success because they've earned it.
I gave them three stars for the atmosphere only because of the bright, white lighting. It reminds me of the lights in a dentist's office. While the restaurant is clean and inviting, I personally prefer warmer lighting to create a cozier dining experience.
One more thing really stood out to me. One evening I called to place an order, but no one answered. I called a second time and assumed they must be closed. About two minutes later, they called me back! 😀 Thanks to that, I got to enjoy sushi that night.

“food was amazing. served at relatively quick speed. apps usually come in pairs, so if you're a party of three, don't expect three pieces (just two). sushi/specialty rolls came in 5-8 as it's listed in the menu. soy rolls they add a dollar though per roll (or sushi, i forgot), be careful. they do have a waste policy on their sign, i forgot what it was. i had some soup spilled on me as they attempted to serve it, and they didn't always notice our papers were done already, but not end of the world stuff. the food taste made up for it! it's about mid $30s on a saturday buffet in the late afternoon/early evening. bill is paid by those electronic machines they bring to your face at your table. bathroom is upstairs. water is served in paper cups. i saw another group and ourself seemed to have to manually ask for water refills otherwise. ice cream options at the day were just green tea and strawberry (which wasn't even listed in the menu) but i loved the strawberry. i would come back here.”

Everything tasted fresh and authentically homemade. We ordered the eggplant parmesan, gnocchi pesto pasta with grilled shrimp, and a side of meatballs—and every dish was absolutely delicious. They also offer typical American food and are open for breakfast.
To top it all off, the owner treated us to fresh lemon cookies, made in-house and mini cannoli. Such a thoughtful touch and the perfect ending to an incredible meal.

The space itself is small and not very welcoming to all customers. Adding a staircase and a small rooftop terrace could make it a nicer spot for families to hang out. In all the food is great to try. Not only were the food and drinks delicious but the customer service was top tier! I wish we got the name of the individual who served us. I believe she was the owner. She took time to speak with us, made suggestions on what we could order (my husband loved the big Johnston breakfast), engaged with my toddler with kindness and playfulness which was so helpful after a long drive. We were so grateful for her. The service was above and beyond. She even helped us with parking suggestion which was confusing for us as we were out of town. Loved how she engaged with the other customers and her regulars. You could definitely tell that the customer service we experienced was not a one-off experience.
