Nice little hidden gem near Journal Square. Had the chili dog, and they have a great assortment of drinks, which makes sense because of the name. Given that NJ is the hot dog capital of the world (don't deny it), this place is a must, given that it has somehow stayed around since 1937. After 6 it is window service only, so if you want the old counter experience, go before then. Prices are reasonable, the hot dog is pretty good. It's been a long time since I've had a hot dog from this place. Today I treated myself to two dogs and an orange drink. Still excellent after all these years. We need more places like this for an inexpensive bite and drink. The place is small with a few stools and small counter. Their hot dogs and toppings are of the upmost top quality. And they're generous with the topping too. While I have to watch my food intake nowadays, I will always recommend their chili dogs. Best! Price...read full review

Consistently, the best hot dogs in Hudson County. The guys are always congenial, service is fast. Atmosphere is what you would expect from a sidewalk emporium. Boulevard Drinks is a much-loved Jersey City institution for 1,000 reasons.
