“On vacation as a joke, we searched for "the worst bar near me" which led us to this amazing little place. We had the absolute best food! The waitstaff was attentive, fun, and helpful. Prices & portions were fair. The whole vibe of the area was low-key & pleasant with the dog-friendly patio, next door local shops, and other patrons. If these Wisconsintes find ourselves in Jersey City again, we will absolutely make a dedicated return to the Wurstbar!“

“My son and I stopped by Grove Station last night for a quick dinner and drinks. The restaurant was busy and lively with a nice outdoor seating area. We expected typical bar food options but were pleasantly surprised. The food and service were outstanding!

Everything tasted fresh and authentically homemade. We ordered the eggplant parmesan, gnocchi pesto pasta with grilled shrimp, and a side of meatballs—and every dish was absolutely delicious. They also offer typical American food and are open for breakfast.

To top it all off, the owner treated us to fresh lemon cookies, made in-house and mini cannoli. Such a thoughtful touch and the perfect ending to an incredible meal.

If you are looking for delicious food, friendly service, and a welcoming atmosphere, I highly recommend Grove Station!“

I thought the Spicy Monkfish was very flavorful and good and the dolsot albap was surprisingly very tasty. Im usually not the biggest fan of albap but this was not too fishy and the crispy rice on the bowl was very pleasant and went well with the dish.
Duck bulgogi probably least special and ok to skip but not bad.“

“Arrived early for a two-person reservation on a hot summer New York night, fresh off the excitement of the Knicks parade - we didn’t catch it but the energy was palpable.

Even though our table wasn’t ready (we were a full hour early after all), the hostess was kind enough to help us pick out a chenin blanc to enjoy inside before being seated outside.

While the burger was absolutely delicious, the highlight of the evening was our server, Hunter. He struck the perfect balance of being attentive and giving us space, allowing us to enjoy our conversation without interruption. Somehow, he always seemed to appear at exactly the right moment whenever we needed something.

We just went for the 2023 Rockefeller tree and the staff was pleasant and accommodating. so happy they were decorated for the holidays. 100% go to in our opinion.“

This was our second visit, and once again, the food did not disappoint. We've been here for both dinner and breakfast, and both meals were delicious. Parking can be a bit challenging, but we were able to find a street parking spot without too much trouble. Overall, The Henry Coronado is a wonderful place for casual dining with great food, excellent service, and a comfortable atmosphere. “Honestly can’t wait to come back when I’m in town and try their other items on their menu. I had the buffalo chicken wontons—8/10. Then their Philly cheesesteak—9/10 (bread was sooo perfect. Crispy yet soft?! Wasn’t expecting that. I asked for mayo but it didn’t really need it. Theirs is way better than Mama’s Too (super viral for their Philly cheese)). Fries?!—10/10. Their condiments—blue cheese and ranch that I tried—really good too 8.5/10. But my waitress is what makes me give 5 stars on everything. Please ask for Deena when you come in. She is so sweet, attentive, and anytime I asked for something she came back quickly attending to my needs. When I come back I too will be asking for Deena. We sat outside at one of the picnic tables (the place was busy, so definitely recommend a reservation for a weekend time). It was very family friendly, there were lots of families gathered at the picnic tables and kids were enjoying playing on the sidewalk. We enjoyed the neighborhood vibes along with the food and service! We ordered a bunch of food and shared everything (the Irish soda bread and butter were INSANE). Shrimp cocktail, burger, Irish soda bread, fish and chips, bucatini with clams, and the chocolate guinness cake. Everything was delicious and our server was very attentive! “First of all don’t be put off by the appearance of the bar, it has a bit of a sports bar vibe but, but it serves some seriously good food.\nThe staff are friendly , helpful and efficient.\nI started off with Fren onion soup, a favourite of mine, and it’s was as good as any I have ever had.\nI followed with the pork chop, which was well worth the 15 minutes wait that the waitress had told me about, and absolutely delicious it was.\nThe bar has an extensive selection of different drinks, I opted for an IPA, which was great.\nAll in all a very good experience, not fine dining by a long shot , but excellent bar food is offered.“
