“On vacation as a joke, we searched for "the worst bar near me" which led us to this amazing little place. We had the absolute best food! The waitstaff was attentive, fun, and helpful. Prices & portions were fair. The whole vibe of the area was low-key & pleasant with the dog-friendly patio, next door local shops, and other patrons. If these Wisconsintes find ourselves in Jersey City again, we will absolutely make a dedicated return to the Wurstbar!“

“Arrived early for a two-person reservation on a hot summer New York night, fresh off the excitement of the Knicks parade - we didn’t catch it but the energy was palpable.

Even though our table wasn’t ready (we were a full hour early after all), the hostess was kind enough to help us pick out a chenin blanc to enjoy inside before being seated outside.

While the burger was absolutely delicious, the highlight of the evening was our server, Hunter. He struck the perfect balance of being attentive and giving us space, allowing us to enjoy our conversation without interruption. Somehow, he always seemed to appear at exactly the right moment whenever we needed something.

We just went for the 2023 Rockefeller tree and the staff was pleasant and accommodating. so happy they were decorated for the holidays. 100% go to in our opinion.“

A standout experiential highlight is the DIY scallop gimbap. For the mains, the duck bulgogi was our favorite: umami, savory, and sweet notes, all tied together with a deeply satisfying charred, smoky finish. Love coming here for random sporting events or just meeting up with friends to watch random shit together on tv (the Olympics, Super Bowl, oscars). They will put anything on for you!

But it’s really the food that keeps me coming back. Love that appetizer sampler and the burgers plus the wings. Great bar staff too (bless them for always supplying me with ice cold lime soda water with my margs).
