“Richmond Republic proves to be a culinary hotspot in Staten Island, offering a delightfully diverse menu. While the Birria Tacos were satisfactory, the true stars of the meal were the sumptuous nachos and quesadillas. Each bite of the nachos presented a harmonious blend of textures and flavors, and the quesadillas were a gooey, cheesy delight with just the right kick. It’s the kind of comforting, indulgent fare that makes for a memorable dining experience. Richmond Republic nails the casual American gastropub vibe with these dishes, making it a must-visit for anyone craving hearty, flavorful comfort food.“
“Recently moved into the city and been wanting to try Würstbar. Finally got there and by far exceeded every expectation! They play music that brings back so many great memories, service is fast and friendly! Food: The fries are absolutely amazing and the dogs were popping with flavor. Can't wait to go back and try more!“
“Cozy, dark (love a dark bar!), very reasonable Happy Hour prices. $9 house red, $4.50 one braised pork slider with smoked coleslaw (they let you buy ONE!). Just the right snack before hitting the subway home. Nice service. Was greeted by the manager as I walked in. Admittedly, he and a coworker were setting up the front picnic tables, but he still took a moment to smile and say hello. The little things matter. Music is upbeat and changes quickly, so if you don't love one song the next may be your cuppa tea.The people next to me are having some kind of whiskey cocktail that comes with a lid bearing smoke ... smells devine.Come here after visiting Wall Street and Century21!“
“Came in for a birthday beer & was greeted and treated very warmly . It’s very welcoming and many locals appeared after time. The Brisket was fantastic & the beer was crisp and refreshing. All thanks to Cat - she was amazing and very welcoming. Will definitely be coming back if in the “
“It was nice coming back to this pub that was the former Irish American Pub. The drinks are still amazing, new pool tables to play and their wings are still good. Love the job the new owners did fixing the place up. Karaoke still rocking on Fridays and the clientele still cool. Staff were very friendly and the service superb. Looking forward to visiting again in the future and most definitely glad to have this pub back in business!“
“What a cute little place. We popped in based on a friends recommendation.Lex, the bartender was amazing. He gave us suggestions for food and drink. The crab looked great but decided on the shrimp and Cole slaw. So good. Will be back next time we are in town to try the famous quesadilla!“
“Perfectly cooked chicken parm and ravioli. I always get the basics the first time I eat at an Italian joint—I figure if they can’t do chicken parm, what use are they….big portions, moist, with a distinct red sauces-in a good way.The staff was super attentive, but we went early and this place is obviously an event/party type place—tons of beer on tap, a stage, etc. the waiter said the chef has been there for 20+ years, and it showed. Definitely going back“
“OK, didn't want a federal production of eating in the city, but I was hungry. What a pleasant surprise. Limited menu, but really really good! I got the Marina. So good! I had the baguette, delicious! And I'm a food snob. Place is small. You can get alcohol.“
“Our very first time here. A very nice place to hangout and enjoy good food and beer. The food was good and really fast prepared and served. Service, on the other hand was slow. Our server (Mario D) was totally distracted having a long and repetitive conversation with another customer that looks like a regular or at least an acquaintance. We have to ask other servers a few times for the things that we need. Nice sports bar atmosphere, just the music was a little bit too loud for me.It was a good experience overall and I'll definitely give it another try.“
“Keyhole emerged as a delightful surprise for our nightcap, offering not only pocket-friendly drinks but also the warmth and attentiveness of a fantastic bartender. The economical pricing of their drinks was a welcomed discovery, ensuring a delightful evening without straining the wallet. The bartender's charm and attentiveness added a personal flair, turning our visit into a truly hospitable experience.A quick note for future patrons: Keyhole operates on a cash-only basis, so come prepared. Despite this small consideration, the overall positive ambiance, reasonable prices, and exceptional service make Keyhole a spot I'll gladly revisit for future nightcaps“
“Food and service are def 5 stars. The view and atmosphere here is incredible. Great flavor with a good price for the area. Food comes quick and fresh. The menu is simple, But great. The bar selection is perfect. Seats are comfy and there is plenty of room inside or outside. They work as teams and won’t cut corners, they are always checking on you. Def recommending this place to friends and family. Parking is around the area, and I did not see a valet service. I have reviewed pretty much most restaurant in this area and I and Very happy with my experience here. See you On my next trip.“
“Hop shoppe has been around for quite some time and has proven its reputation with their wide array of delicious burger. My favorite is the holy grail. Inside they have arcade games and a bar. If you're looking to have some good drinks and a great burger this is it. They have a great menu filled with different options including fried pickles! It's worth the trip.“
